I tried to LST this plant earlier but it didn't seem to branch out much and increase the number of colas. I ended up removing the LST ties and letting her grow naturally for a change.
The size of this plant hasn't really increased much.
I've continued to LST this Grapefruit Auto plant as best as I know how and I feel like this week it's beginning to pay off.
I'm now noticing that there are several side colas growing and the bushy canopy is starting to take shape.
The leaves are a dark healthy green shade.
We'll see what kind of growth will happen this week as it enters its pre-flower stage.
I'm starting to feel more confident that this Grapefruit strain is going to make it. I was a little worried in its veg stage that it wouldn't be big enough and it would be too compact. LST has helped provide extra growth to the side branches. She's gone into pre-flower and I couldn't be happier with her improvement.
This one should be bigger but unfortunately, I don't have a spare light to put over this plant. This is the smallest of the strains in the tent and the buds have tiny fine little white hairs.
It looks like I've got a thrips problem to deal with.
There's a large number of leaves that are getting chewed on and I"ll bring in some ladybugs to fight this issues.
This plant has suffered from thrips for a couple weeks now and I've introduced some ladybugs to combat any further damage to the leaves.
She's in flush now and getting the chop early next week.
