BBC Run

Not a whole lot to say yet, this girl is just getting going. She has a couple of nodes now and I expect the growth to start really taking off soon. I think I had the lights dialed a bit too high when I moved them out to the middle of the tent because the leaves are a pretty light color. It could just be a characteristic of the strain and the fact that the big kosher kush plant in the tent is such a dark green but I’ve moved them back to the edges of the tent until they get a bit larger. This tent is going into flower soon so I’ll have to move this plant and the nana glue plant up to the attic and let them veg up there while the northern lights auto finishes out.

This girl is getting there, she’s growing a bit slower than the nana glue plant but she’s still doing well. I dialed the lights back a tad and she’s not as yellow anymore. I’ll probably top her at some point this week. I’m also moving both of the square one genetics plants up to the attic tent soon bc I’m flipping the closet tent to flower this weekend. Hopefully up there they’ll really take off since they won’t be in the shade of the Kosher Kush and Glookirs plants.

Both of these square one genetics plants are looking absolutely horrible. Theyre droopy and the leaf margins are curling up and they’re just not vigorous. The stems are already purpling and I can’t imagine they’re starving for phosphorus this young though, I’ll need to look up what else causes that. It could be genetic but with how unhealthy the plants are in general I wouldn’t be surprised if it was stress. The only thing I can think of that could be contributing to the poor health is that it’s been super dry here and they haven’t exactly had a ton of room to breathe as they started off dwarfed by by the glookies and kosher kush plants. I’m hoping that once I harvest the northern lights plant in that tent and let them spread out and get real, unobstructed light that they’ll bounce back. I hit them with some recharge today and that always seems to help. I’m hoping to repot this one around the same time as when I harvest the auto so maybe the fresh media will help too.

Interesting week, started off with a tragedy — I kept it too close to the space heater and it absolutely dried a few leaves and one of the lower tops. But I righter the ship later in the week and got the environment in better shape and she’s doing much better. Repotting her tomorrow then flipping to flower once they recover.

This girl is doing much better now that I’ve repotted her and given her some space in the tent. The pictures were taken on a watering day right after the lights came on so she looks a bit droopy, but she’s looking much healthier in person. Ideally I’d veg a few more weeks but I’m going to be out of town for over a week in April, the tent is in the attic so I have to be conscious of the temps outside, and I’m battling a 5’ tent so I flipped to 12-12 yesterday so she finishes up before it starts getting hot out and I have to go out of town.

Double posting because I forgot to update this diary last week. But the first week of flower went well. She’s not stretching as much as the nana glue next to her but she’s healthy so I can’t complain.

This girl is doing well. She’s popping pistils and stretching some more. I have her propped up on a book to maintain a more even canopy. I need to defoliate some before she starts building buds to try to be proactive in avoiding mold. Top dressed with some build a flower and craft blend to make sure she has everything she needs in the next couple of weeks.
