10/03/22 Morning measures: EC 1,76 pH 6.2 => Refill 3L water (over 9L => 12 total), EC dropped to 1,3. Add nutrients at 25% of recommendation, EC now up to 1,76 and pH at 6 (without having to adjust!). The smell is really nice and stronger. No new leaves with deficiencies. Happy. 08/03/22 Sorry for the silence... pretty busy. So at first I ran the recommendations from GHE on top of CAL MAG, that has left the EC to 1.9, taking in account I stop adding the Flora grow at 50% of recommended. With the mix of the top tank after a while it drops to 1.8. As the average evaporation is about 1.5L a day and curiously the EC remains stable, I've added water once a day and EC is 1.7, which I believe less aggressive. PH tends to always rise, like 0.4 over a day, so I do one correction on mornings and set it to 5.8 and it's almost stable during the day and back to 6.2 the next morning. I'm afraid during those days I had again gear failure and automatism lost... humidifier ran the whole night I would say at least 2 liters, lots of condensation, accumulation at the bottom of the tent, moist of the flowers... in shock! Again a new stress, open the tent fan at max, shacking the plants. Other fail, was total lost of power on an USB programmable socket, resulting in no extraction, no air pump, hopefully it was at night and no light cut off during the usual cycle. I really have to get that situation sorted out. I reused my old gear ( 12 years old at least!). Just for the story, both USB socket works only on Windows XP, no recent drivers, so I had to install a virtual machine on an old Mac and get them to work, same for my USB temperature and hygrometer sensors. None of them works properly and I had to use the robust electro-mechanic temporizations for the light and the water pump. Recent pics confirm that was worth following after the difficult beginning, still do not expect a great yield but not a big smoker neither, so happy with any outcome. So pleasant discovering zooming the pics that there are plenty of trichomas, small and transparent. Isolated leaves present different kind of deficiencies. Not the same on all plants, and haven't appeared all at the same time. Will try to find out what they are, on which plant and in what order, but I didn't trace that precisely. 05/03/22 Empty the bottom tank, start with a fresh solution.

Hi guys, it's very slow. Parameters seems fine. The EC goes up to 1.2 in 48h. Out 3 liters in the deposit, put water ph7&EC0.05, corrections to Ec 1,0 and pH 5.5. I'll do that daily. There is a top 6L deposit with still the "old" Ec/pH and mix slowly watering. Any tips please

This is a hydroponic feed chart. Make sure you ph your water at 5.8 for veg, check everyday. Feed chart for photos. Day their born, 400 ppm, 0.8 ec. See good growth that week up to 500 ppm, 1.0 ec. Next week and you see good growth, 600ppm 1.2ec Every week you increase 100 ppm if your seeing good growth. If your not seeing good growth then stay with that amount an extra week. Stop increasing when hit 800 ppm, 1.6 ec. Only give more if you see they really need. Soilless recovers or goes bad very quickly. Keep parameters in order and they will recover rather quickly. If their autos start at 200 ppm from sprout and work your way to 600 to 650 ppm.

We are quite happy with changes in 4 days! New leaves with green color. They recovered, we don't except a big harvest... a friend said with issues during the early stage with auto flowering would have damaged the roots & stay small with low flower production. Any thoughts?

Autos can be quite tricky and the advice you where told very well may come to light in exactly that way. There is also the off chance they will bounce back and do some nice things for you. Very hard to predict and not all autos react to the same stress in the same way. I fell you have the best option to correct anything in DWC/RDWC. the root mass of plants grown this way is always massive when its kept in check. Best Of Luck!

As plants were small we didn't do the LST technique. Is it possible to bend them now? Is it worth?

You still have time, they are looking to be the prefect size to do some LST, go slow and don't rush it, nobody wants a snapped stem. if you use the explore function on the diary page you can browse others using LST on hydro grows. Can use them as reference points. Only do what your comfortable with. This is your grow after all. Best Of Luck!

I had many issues and not sure what's happening with one of the plant that doesn't look to flower like her sisters. Is it late flowering and will develop (or not) and I have to be patient? is it a male and should cut asap? I hope the pictures will be enough close to help.

Its looking like a female to me mate. Might be over thinking it. Normally males will flower or show sex earlier before the females. I see pistils or what look like pistils in the photos you posted. If you still worried keep an eye out for male pollen sacks. they look like coco pods and they tend to point downwards on the plants and grow in clusters. I still think you have nothing to worry about though. Good Luck!

The first plant has brown pistils, the 2d &3rd white pistils and reasonable volume, the 4th is at least 2W behind! Do I have to cut all at the same time? Sharing same DWC, diseases risks to harvest progressively and let roots only?

You still have several weeks left. Add a sterilizing agent to roots solution. Like 3 percent h2o2 at 2-3 ml a gallon.

when you turn them incorrectly, they turn around just a little longer 🤷‍♂️🏽

@Mr_Juice, you were totally right, and more, this is probably the one that will give more yield!

Thank you very much for sharing a new diary with one of our strains. 😊 We hope you enjoy it. 😋 Sweet smokes, - Apolo

@Sweet_Seeds, dear Apolo, we have now the answer, this strain is resilient, despite the initial errors (feeding and watering), the difficulties with the humidity, the technical issues on programmers (excess of heat, 24 hours light during 2 or 3 days, absolute dark during 2 days, electricity current leak that make the led light never totally OFF) we are now impatient to taste it. We already envoy the strong smell (maybe too much for our neighbors!).

Kannamarcommented3 years ago
@Sweet_Seeds, it has been a hard beginning! I got some good advises already from the community. I would appreciate if you could tell if this strain can overcome the initial stress. Thank you in advance.
Sweet_Seeds
Sweet_Seedscommented3 years ago
@Kannamar, Personally, I would recommend you to apply the LST technique. We do not recommend pruning autoflowering strains because of the stress it causes and the short margin of time they have until harvest. Sweet smokes, - Apolo
