07/04/22 I've been refill with water only, little by little and the EC was lowering each time and is now at 1, just maintaining pH around 6.1. Tomorrow I will empty the bottom tank and refill with water only (just VIT and PowerZyme). Cut is planned for Fri 15th. I still can't see ambar trichoderma but I have no choice... 02/04/22 First of all apologies for having jumped the Flo Week 11. Nothing really special to report, except that the 4th plant, that was late had stretched a lot is now flowering at a quick pace. I had rotated the lamp so the 4th plant have now the FLO spot (32W) on top of it, the 2nd and third have the 2 full spectrum spots (2x32W) on top, and finally the first one, that was clearly more advanced is on the side with the VEG spot OFF. I really don't like this lamp, lack of homogeneity, and it is not 120W, I'm working with 3 spots so 90W, and also it isn't clearly said if in flowering I should only use the FLO Spot and have only 32W !?!?!? So I assumed it's adding the FLO spot to the full spectrum spots pair. DECISION: I've ordered the LUMATEK ATS 200W PRO. I will have to deal with tent space, 60x60cm, the lamp is 54x54 cm... I had the extraction for the top with the filter attached in the corner and that won't work with the new lamp! Will probably post a question about that. As far as I can see, zooming pics, trichomes are now white on 3 plants and still mostly translucids for the 4th. I got brown pistils on all flowers. So the gap between the 1st and 4th is not so big now. DECISION: Regarding the past question, progressive harvest, I'm now rather inclined to reduce the EC for this week, next week flush with water, 48h in dark and harvest all plants at once on 15th April. In fact, that's also a necessity because on 16th we leave for 10 days planned holidays. It might not be the ideal time to harvest but that's what it is. Anyway, I always preferred to harvest in advance (it is said to be more psychoactive) rather waiting for a few more grams. A big big thank you to all of you that encouraged me to follow on with these 4 plants when I was about to give up on VEG Week 2! And also for all further advises that confirm that there is always hope. My wife and I are amazed by where we are at considering it's an auto strain and that it was said "missing the train" during the first week will give us a pathetic yield. Obviously compared to champions we saw here, there's lots of improvements to make, but we are very happy! 01/04/22 Quick post, come back tomorrow...

Hi guys, it's very slow. Parameters seems fine. The EC goes up to 1.2 in 48h. Out 3 liters in the deposit, put water ph7&EC0.05, corrections to Ec 1,0 and pH 5.5. I'll do that daily. There is a top 6L deposit with still the "old" Ec/pH and mix slowly watering. Any tips please

This is a hydroponic feed chart. Make sure you ph your water at 5.8 for veg, check everyday. Feed chart for photos. Day their born, 400 ppm, 0.8 ec. See good growth that week up to 500 ppm, 1.0 ec. Next week and you see good growth, 600ppm 1.2ec Every week you increase 100 ppm if your seeing good growth. If your not seeing good growth then stay with that amount an extra week. Stop increasing when hit 800 ppm, 1.6 ec. Only give more if you see they really need. Soilless recovers or goes bad very quickly. Keep parameters in order and they will recover rather quickly. If their autos start at 200 ppm from sprout and work your way to 600 to 650 ppm.

We are quite happy with changes in 4 days! New leaves with green color. They recovered, we don't except a big harvest... a friend said with issues during the early stage with auto flowering would have damaged the roots & stay small with low flower production. Any thoughts?

Autos can be quite tricky and the advice you where told very well may come to light in exactly that way. There is also the off chance they will bounce back and do some nice things for you. Very hard to predict and not all autos react to the same stress in the same way. I fell you have the best option to correct anything in DWC/RDWC. the root mass of plants grown this way is always massive when its kept in check. Best Of Luck!

As plants were small we didn't do the LST technique. Is it possible to bend them now? Is it worth?

You still have time, they are looking to be the prefect size to do some LST, go slow and don't rush it, nobody wants a snapped stem. if you use the explore function on the diary page you can browse others using LST on hydro grows. Can use them as reference points. Only do what your comfortable with. This is your grow after all. Best Of Luck!

I had many issues and not sure what's happening with one of the plant that doesn't look to flower like her sisters. Is it late flowering and will develop (or not) and I have to be patient? is it a male and should cut asap? I hope the pictures will be enough close to help.

Its looking like a female to me mate. Might be over thinking it. Normally males will flower or show sex earlier before the females. I see pistils or what look like pistils in the photos you posted. If you still worried keep an eye out for male pollen sacks. they look like coco pods and they tend to point downwards on the plants and grow in clusters. I still think you have nothing to worry about though. Good Luck!

The first plant has brown pistils, the 2d &3rd white pistils and reasonable volume, the 4th is at least 2W behind! Do I have to cut all at the same time? Sharing same DWC, diseases risks to harvest progressively and let roots only?

You still have several weeks left. Add a sterilizing agent to roots solution. Like 3 percent h2o2 at 2-3 ml a gallon.

when you turn them incorrectly, they turn around just a little longer 🤷‍♂️🏽

@Mr_Juice, you were totally right, and more, this is probably the one that will give more yield!

@Kannamar, when it does not dry out, it survives without problems

Thank you very much for sharing a new diary with one of our strains. 😊 We hope you enjoy it. 😋 Sweet smokes, - Apolo

@Sweet_Seeds, dear Apolo, we have now the answer, this strain is resilient, despite the initial errors (feeding and watering), the difficulties with the humidity, the technical issues on programmers (excess of heat, 24 hours light during 2 or 3 days, absolute dark during 2 days, electricity current leak that make the led light never totally OFF) we are now impatient to taste it. We already envoy the strong smell (maybe too much for our neighbors!).

@Sweet_Seeds, it has been a hard beginning! I got some good advises already from the community. I would appreciate if you could tell if this strain can overcome the initial stress. Thank you in advance.
Sweet_Seeds
Sweet_Seedscommented3 years ago
@Kannamar, Personally, I would recommend you to apply the LST technique. We do not recommend pruning autoflowering strains because of the stress it causes and the short margin of time they have until harvest. Sweet smokes, - Apolo
