You can start to see in these photos that she's turning out special. She's got lots of frost and tons of color coming in. I've been running much cooler temps than normal to bring out her colors. 60-65F at nights 70-75F during the day. She can eat a ton. Much more than previous plants I've grown. This is the real beginning of my understanding of giving the plants too much light. In the past I've given the plants a set amount of light with no variation in the amounts. I have learned with time that they want less in the early weeks, more in the middle weeks, and tapering off towards the last weeks as less photosynthesis is happening. You can also notice by them taking in less water towards these last weeks.

Hey man, Absolutely beautiful ladies you got there. I love your clean setup, Would you mind me sharing some advice to try and improve the crop? You got a lot of things right here man so I do not need to say much, Your temp ranges in veg & early flower are spot on and your keeping your temp gap between lights on and lights off under 10 degrees less when they go off which is perfect. One thing I did notice is once your plants finished their vertical growth which usually happens between weeks 4 to 6 of flower depending on strain, Then and only then do we want to begin to widen the temp gap between lights on and lights off. The reason for this is now that the plant has finished growing vertically it will send signals to the plants to instead of stretch, Put more energy into the budding process and resin production. The theory being that the female cannabis plants genetic responses to stresses change depending on what phase of its growth it is on. Once it has finished doing all of its upward growth so it can cast its seeds out and reproduce effectively it will then want to form up nice big dense flower clusters to make seeds in and to get as sticky as it can to attract as much pollen as possible. If we exploit these responses we can get a much better end result from our flower. One other thing for the wattage of lights you have they seem a bit far away. If you do not have them already get yourself a PAR meter and a thermal laser temp gun like the fluke 62 MAX. These 2 items will really help you get the most out of your lights onto your plants without overdoing it. If you got a minute would you mind checking out my 200 light 7,000 plant diary and following my profile? Thanks a ton man. If you should ever feel you have a question or need any help do not hesitate to ask. Happy growing!

@TamedFire, you're doing great with what you got. I use a apogee quatnum flux MQ par meter As it reads in Micromole. Keep up the great work.

@LegacyMarketFarm, Thank you. I can't control the temps. It's in a house in a room I am living in so it's mostly for the comfort of humans and not the plants. My lights are definitely at the right height. The lights I have are actually overpowered and I can only run them at 60% max. It's basically two HLG 300 Rspecs in a 3x3 lol. I want a light meter, one that measures in micromoles. They are just a bit pricey still. I run different cultivars and each one requires different lighting requirements so blasting them all at 60% doesn't make sense when only some can take it. If I had more control over the environment and could customize it and tailor it to the plants needs it would be much more optimal.
