On January 17th we plant two Mimosa X Orange punch seeds and two Dos si Dos seeds in 4 separate Jiffys. The jiffies are activated in tap water at a temperature of about 26 ° C with 14 drops of seed booster and 10 ml of Root stimulator, finally placed under the lamp at 50% of its power, waiting for germination. When they are germinated, the two best shoots will be potted, the other two destroyed
Today we will choose 2 sprouts among the 5 germinated, the strongest, according to our opinion and observation. One for each type of seed that we will pot in 15 liter containers where to a mixture of soil and clay we will insert 3 biotabs, mycotrex, bactrex, orgatrex, startrex and the root stimulator as nourishment.
The plants grow in splendor beauty and grace, at the end of the week we will open the autopot water tank, up to now the plants have not been wet but maintain a very high humidity level, above 80%
This week we wet the plants with 2 liters of tap water with 4 ml of Biotabs Orgatrex and 2 taeaspoon of Biotabs Bactrex dissolved each. Yesterday we finally opened the water tank (capacity 40 liters) that will feed them without any other nutrients additions until the flowering stage.
The vegetative phase continues, during this week, with the tank connected, the plants grow by developing more than four inter-nodes. I'm hesitant whether to go into flowering as early as next week (the fifth) or wait for the begin of the sixth.
The vegetative phase continues this week, from Monday I will switch to flowering. During this week while the water is being supplied from a tank I wet with an extra solution of 2 liters of water with orgatrex and bactrex as recommended by the user manual, for each plant.
I take this opportunity to thank those who recommended the "SCROG" to me, I know, you're right, but I'm not much with manual skills, I've been thinking about it for years, maybe I'll try next sowing.
The plants now have 8 internodes, they show some deficiency on the leaves, I think iron, but I don't change nutrients. A day ago we entered the flowering phase. In the next few hours, I will begin to prune the leaves.
We are in the seventh week from sowing, in the second week of flowering. Plants grow smoothly. Yes I should learn how to scrog but I still don't feel like it, after years, it will be for next time. This week I added half a liter per plant of bio tabs pk tea compost to the nutrients
The plants grow with some deficiency, but they are splendid and with many flowers. The shortcomings will be remedied in the next few days. The plants were given one liter of water with 12ml of Bio Tabs PK 5-8 booster.
The plants show some shortcomings, we are in the ninth complete week. Thanks to the tip about calcium and magnesium. The flowers show good growth, still missing a month to the hypothesis of harvest. Keep following me, it helps me.
Near the end of the tenth week the plants are growing, the deficiencies have been corrected and the buds begin to resemble the mature product. Two or three more weeks and we will have reached the goal
Happy growing. I will let u know that there is a certain phenotype of Dos si Dos 33 that does not like any kind of stress or nutrients. Hope your grow is one for the record books.
Cheers!!!
@Homestickycannabis, I'll let you know. I can say you that 2 upper jiffy are Dos si Dos, other three on bottom are Mimosa for evo punch. I think I'll choose upper left one and bottom right one.
Great choice on strains. I def want to grow mimosa one day but Dos si dos 33 is a MUST grow for me at least once. Hope yours lives up to the rep. They look great too, and have a look at my Zkittlesz if you want to see another way to train out a plant thats kinda like scrog but not really... lols. I tie them down after just 2 toppings and thats it. 1st topping splits plant into 2 main stems..I call it making two main plants out of one.. and then I treat each main stem as an individual plant, and just top each main stem once more a few weeks later. In the mean time Im tying each main stem down to spread the plant out wider but not longer if that makes sense. Have a look at pics and you see what I mean. I bought a net to Scrog but im not convinced my way isnt better if you prefer plants a bit more bushy as I do. Scrog net is still in the bag btw. lols.
