So here we go!
From the start a full complete setup, no changing anything no switching/swapping halfway through a grow, finally happy with what I have and this is only my 3rd grow attempt (currently).
Spider-Farmer 2x2x5 grow tent
Spider-Farmer 6inch intelligent fan kit (overkill)
Viparspectra XS1500
Countless fans, misters, sprayers and just in case some mini dehumidifiers, and a ppfd meter 😂
So yeah pretty much on the ball for this one, learnt on my mistakes from my 1st grow last year and that was mainly over defoliation too early in veg, so won’t be doing that again, I’ll be keeping to my same nutrient feed provided the plants enjoy, or just adjust if they don’t.
Reminds me of the old days when I first started smoking, so this is why I chose this strain.
This is just going along with my other 2 auto diaries so hope you enjoy the journey as much as me ☺️🌱🤘🏴
13 Jan: Put in damp paper towels in my closet for 2 1/2 days. Tap root was around 1/2 inch.
15 Jan: Potted seed in forever home in pre soaked soil.
18 Jan: Seedling broke soil
1st week of Veg complete.
Haven’t really done anything, the tent with half a passive intake flap open is enough to pull in the fresh air needed, the Spider-Farmer intelligent fan is set at 75% humidity and 80’f and kicks in as it should. The XS1500 from Viparspectra is at 24” and around 55%. The feeds seem to be going well, I’ll be adding grow into the feed next week so I’ll be seeing these babies start to spread their wings 🌱🙂
2nd week of Veg complete.
Again I haven’t really done anything, the tent with half a passive intake flap open is enough to pull in the fresh air needed, the Spider-Farmer intelligent fan is now set at 64% humidity and 80’f and kicks in as it should. The XS1500 from Viparspectra is at 22” and now around 75% the PPFD is around 480. The feeds seem to be going well, nutrient feed every other day with just water in between. I added grow and Alg-a-mic into the feed this week, there seems to be no deficiencies that I can see and indeed these babies started to spread their wings, a good 2nd week 🙂🌱
3rd week of Veg complete. Busy week for this girl, day 19 she had her 1st LST, I was undecided as to what I was going to do it was just grow her out or try LST again. She took well to LST although I probably should of done it in a few days time, so left her for 2 days and tightened her up this morning, she seems to be doing well…the tent with half a passive intake flap open is enough to pull in the fresh air needed, the Spider-Farmer intelligent fan is set at 64% humidity and 80’f and kicks in as it should. The XS1500 from Viparspectra is at 22” and now around 80% the PPFD is around 500. The feeds seem to be going well, nutrient feed every other day with just water in between. I added a little more grow into the feed this week, there seems to be no deficiencies that I can see and a nice even canopy is in motion , a good 3rd week 🙂🌱
4th and final week of Veg complete by the looks of it! This girl is in pre-flower so she will be on blooming nutrients going forward. So after last weeks LST on day 19 I left the girl for a few days and hoped I didn’t stress her too much. Day 23 I had no choice but to do some minor defoliation, so I trimmed some of the bigger fan leaves that helped open her up a bit more. Days 25/26/27 I carried on with the LST and pulled her branches down so I think she is as even as I can get her before she goes onto flower nutrients. The tent with half a passive intake flap open is enough to pull in the fresh air needed, the Spider-Farmer intelligent fan is set at 60% humidity and 80’f and kicks in as it should. The XS1500 from Viparspectra is at 22” and now around 80% the PPFD is around 500. The feeds seem to be going well, nutrient feed every other day with just water in between. I added a little more grow into the feed this week, there seems to be no deficiencies that I can see and a nice even canopy is in motion , a good 4th week 🙂🌱

The XS1500 from Viparspectra is at 18” and at 100% the PPFD is around 780, I will be lowering this down to 15” next week. The feeds seem to be going well, nutrient feed every other day with just water in between. Added the bloom nutrients into the feed this week and dropped the root juice, she seems to be adapting well, there seems to be no deficiencies that I can see. Really noticing the difference between this grow and my last grow already, my mistakes I made on that one I haven’t on this one and it’s telling on the flowers that she’s already producing, she is the leafiest of the 3 I have in this run. I’ve decided to start taking the first lot of flowering nodes off next week week off the bottom so that’ll be the only trim that she has from here on out. Really getting excited for this 🌱😊
The Spider-Farmer 2x2x5 tent with half a passive intake flap open is enough to pull in the fresh air needed, the Spider-Farmer intelligent fan is set at 55% humidity and 80’f and kicks in as it should. I did lower the XS1500 from Viparspectra to 15” and is still at 100% the PPFD is around 900. The feeds seem to be going well, nutrient feed every other day with just water in between, there are no deficiencies that I can see, so I literally only took off the bottom 1st nodes on each limb just to help the flowers above fill out, maybe 5/6 fan leaves, really haven’t messed with this plant as much, she is starting to bristle with trichomes though so I did decide to lightly rub my finger across a leaf one day 🤤 🌱👍

The feeds seem to be going well, nutrient feed every other day with just water in between, there are no deficiencies that I can see, my oscillation fan broke this week, it’s the 3rd I’ve had from Secret Jardin in 7 months so have decided to brand switch to RAM hopefully will last longer than the average 2 months but I can already hear it lightly screeching, so I didn’t have any rotating air for a day and a half. Other than that she kinda smells like the good old days, I only hope that she tastes like it too…last week of nutrient feeding coming up so I’m getting even more excited 🌱👍😊

This week was just letting her flower not much else I can do when she’s in this stage 🌱👍

The XS1500 from Viparspectra is at 15” and at 100% the PPFD is around 900. So what can I say 7 days of flushing passed not many deficiencies have shown up, she has stayed small but she is bulky and compact more so than the other 2 plants I have growing, it’s just a matter of checking those trichomes now, but every time I get near her she does smell like the days of many moons ago so I’m really really looking forward to the cured flowers from this little beauty 🤤👍🌱
So I cut the plant at 60/15/5 cloudy/clear/red on trichomes, other than that I can’t really say much for now she does have that distinct earthy, peppery smell about her, I cut all her fan leaves off and what I could of the little leaves, I like to cut when dry mainly so until that point comes along I’ve got nothing else to add
