Grandma's Gelato #41 × Erdpurt #6 & #11

Terp_Djiny At the beginning of the week, I planted the little seedlings directly into the 3.5l pots. I added a bit of dynomyco, about 10g per pot, as a root stimulant. So far, I've had very good experiences with this stuff. The first week is over. With all four, the growth of the cotyledons is visible day by day. Next week, we'll start with a light nutrient solution. Grow on!

Terp_Djiny Not much to say so far, the little ones are growing. A sip of nutrient water every day. The little ones are growing and growing. The first pair of leaves is forming now too. I'm more than satisfied for the end of the second week.

Terp_Djiny Today I defoliated the little ones a bit and topped two of the four. I'll post a few photos over the weekend. The little ones are really growing like weeds. I had a small issue with the distance of the lamp. That had stunted their growth a bit. However, they're growing again now... So far, I haven't seen any signs of pre-flowering.

Terp_Djiny The pre-flowering is still taking its time. The defoliation and LST have done the plants good. They have really taken off nicely. Let's see when the first signs of gender are visible..

Terp_Djiny Hello Growmies, Today I was able to sort the four little ones a bit. The first pre-flowers have shown up. Unfortunately, one isn't showing yet, so we'll have to wait a bit longer. The first plant has a female pre-flower and I think it wants to get going under the 12/12 cycle. The second plant has also developed female pre-flowers. However, there were also pollen sacs on that plant. I took those out of the tent right away. The third one isn't showing yet, and the fourth seems to be female as well. Hopefully, by the weekend, we'll know what's going on with the last one. Number 3 finally showed its white hairs today. So, conclusion: 3 out of 4 are staying... I'm happy about that.

Terp_Djiny The little ones really want to bloom. This week they have made significant progress. I'm curious to see how this develops further. Especially the one that hasn't been treated looks very interesting. But the two that have been topped also have their charm.

Terp_Djiny The little ones really want to grow big. I can water about 750ml every day. To prevent the substrate from getting salty, I always water so that about 10% runs out. I also regularly measure the EC and pH value from that.

Terp_Djiny Little update for the middle of the week. Just a few photos of the buds. The colors are already looking interesting. Also, I had to water twice today, I think that's going to be the standard now with the thirsty ladies. Okay, the twice a day watering has settled down again. Now it's back to 750ml a day. I took a few more photos today. The colors are becoming more pronounced. I think the three look really tasty... By the end of the week, I cut out a few sun sails. Starting tomorrow, I’ll also begin to flush. It’s coming to an end.

Terp_Djiny The last few weeks for the three. At the beginning of the week, I flushed them all with a rinseout of EC 0.3 and pH 6.1. Now it's time to dry out. The buds are also forming new growths in the form of white hairs. Let's see what the next few days bring. A few new growths have come in, but nothing noteworthy so far.

Terp_Djiny The last days are numbered. Today is harvest day. The substrate is completely dried out. The trichomes are 80% milky, the rest already amber.

Terp_Djiny I received this strain for testing from Grandma. Since I couldn't wait any longer, I went ahead and germinated 4 of the seeds right away. The result of having too little space and different ages of the plants in the tent is still quite visible. I topped the ladies right at the beginning of the flowering phase to expose them to maximum stress. 2 out of the 3 topped ones stayed female. The third one found it too stressful and turned hermaphrodite. In terms of yield, I should have skipped the topping for this grow. The untreated one had a wet weight of 153g, the topped one with LST weighed in at 144g, and the smallest of the three was 109g. 2 out of 3 developed purple discoloration during flowering. I’ll take more time and, above all, patience for the next run. Otherwise, the buds are very compact. Quite large and completely frosty. Let's let the harvest dry.
