Jan 22: 6 GC is growing tall and fast (who would have guessed). It’s almost at the top of the dome. I transplanted GC in a 1g pot with one scoop of xGarden perlite with 9 scoops of fox farm ocean blend. I’ve placed the dome over all the seedlings and turned on the humidifier full blast. I’ll check back in a bit. Still looking ok by noon. The rh is good under the dome. The pot is a little colder, around 67. The park was under 300 as well. I turned up the light slightly so par at dome top was around 330. I also turned up the space heater slightly. I’ll check again tonight. Everything is still looking good! Jan 20: 4 Upped the light to 160 par at top of dome since I want to avoid stretching. Will check in later to see how they’ve responded. Environment seems good and I think the dome in the tent is the right approach. Started another seed around 8:30am When I checked at noon the GC was starting to stretch so I turned up the light to 280par at top of dome. Jan 19: 3 I can see three of four have popped, Dosidos hasn’t yet. I turned on the light for the other three plants. Par around the top of the dome is just over 100, around 115, so should be around 100 for the top of the plants in the dome. Jan 18: 2 Green crack has popped as of 8:42am. No visuals on kush or Dosidos yet. January 16: Day 0 Soaked rock wool cubes for 30 minutes in ph water. Put in tent with heat mat and seeds around 11am. Sundays will be the start of each week. I’m a bit worried about the potential height difference of these strains but will try manifolding to help. I’m also worried about exactly how I’ll slow dry the first plants to finish, but that’s a future problem.

Jan 29: 12 After today, I'm considering them no longer seedlings, but vegging plants. They've got their second set of real leaves now, so we're off to the races. Starting tomorrow I'll start watering and feeding in accordance to Fox Farm's feeding schedule. I'll run their organic fertilizer full strength the entire run (previous grows have run half strength of the fertilizer, but it's low strength in general, so I think we'll be fine). I've also ordered some Recharge as I've been reading more about the beneficial fungi. I'll start that next week most likely too. Jan 27: 11 Removed the dome and installed the fan. Keeping the soil moist around the seedlings. They’ve slowed a bit but I guess that’s to be expected after transplanting. Jan 26: 9 It's getting cold in the room and I've got a space heater running most of the time. I also decided to set the pots on the seedling heating mats. It only makes a few degrees difference, but that helps shift my highs from the high 60's to the low 70's, so I'll take all the help I can get. Jan 24: 8 Moved the dome to cover everything while hiking up the pot to make it more even. It’s keeping the humidity in a lot better now. Need to check to make sure it’s not too much. Everything looks good and I realized I could transplant everything. I put both kush and the Dosidos in a 2 gal pot, which is most likely their final size. Right now only the GC is in 1gal, I’ll move that over eventually.

Feb 4: 18 Watered 1L per plant of base nutrients (6tsp Fox Farm fertilizer and 1tsp cal mag). Feb 1: 15 Watered each 1L with 1/2tsp of Recharge mixed in per gallon. I have no idea why the one pink kush is so much smaller and curved up than the other, which looks like a monster. Jan 31: 14 Turned up light and lowered it to get PAR to 430-470 Jan 30: 13 Watered each 1L of the week 1 mix. 6tsp of fertilizers 1tsp of cal mag 700ppm going in Measured 1500-2800 ppm runoff 2300 stabilized. 6.3ph runoff

Feb 12: 26 Started manifolding by topping above the third node and trimming everything below the third node. It hurts to cut this much off but I’m trying to trust the process. Too bad I don’t have a spot to try and save some clones, I could have taken a ton. I’ll water tomorrow, probably with Recharge, to help with the stress and recovery. Green crack seems to be doing just fine. It’s recovered from the transplant. Feb 10:24 transplanted green crack. A bit messy. Not my best. Also watered base plus 1tsp of Grow Big, which is 50% the recommended amount. 1.25L per plant. Feb 7: 21 Watered 1L per plant and saw a lot less runoff than previous, so I can tell they’re drinking more. Still probably 5-10% runoff. Adjusted light down a bit to average 450-500 PAR

Feb 19: 33 Watered with 6tsp fert 1tsp grow big 1/2 tsp recharge 1tsp cal mag I think I’m overwatering the dosido so I only gave it 1L, everything else got 1.25. Mainlined the big kush. Accidentally removed one of the symmetrical nodes. I kept one from node 2, so it’ll be fine, just not symmetrical. Feb 18: 32 I realized I should be training my plants about a week ago (d’oh!) so I started working with them now. I accidentally broke off what would have been one of the main colas on the big kush. I can recover by just keeping another node, but I should have been more careful. Also, I put a few stakes down as well to help hold things down. Kicking myself for waiting this long. I’ll water tomorrow. Feb 16: 30 Big pink kush has 3 nodes on each limb, while the other have just two. Scrawny kush has got some weird genetics going on. It’s not growing symmetrically at all and I don’t think I’ll be able to train it like I want to (mainline). Dosidos leaves are curling up which is odd because I’m adding in 5ml of CalMag with each gallon of water, each watering. Maybe I’m overwatering and rinsing it all out too fast? I’m getting runoff, but it doesn’t appear to be too much runoff to me. Watered with 1.5L per plant of the mix with 1tsp Grow Big. Runoff was around 1000. 8” tall, 8” away from light. Feb 13: 27 Watered with base plus 2tsp of grow big plus 1 tsp recharge. Have the Dosidos the slight extra remaining recharge. Plants seem to be fine despite cutting so much off. Now I just need to wait until they have four nodes on each side.

Feb 24: 38 Initiated the 12:12! Also turned humidity target down to 55%. Feb 23: 37 Watered 1.25L for each plant, with the Dosidos getting 1L. I used the 3/2 tsp mix of fertilizer to grow big. More branch tucking but still a ways to go to fill out the net. It looks like part of the GC branch healed and might recover. Feb 22: 36 About 10” tall. I have about a max height of 28 in from soil to bottom of light, so I’m going to let it grow about 4 more in (total of 14”) before I switch to flowering. GC has some green bud sights but browning leaves. Not sure if it’ll make it, at least that half. Reset par to 700-800. Feb 20: 34 Mainlined the Dosidos, green crack, and the scrawny kush. GC is showing some signs of stress due to the branch break. I removed one fan leaf that was droopy and turning colors. I haven’t given up hope on saving the one half yet. Had no real idea how to trim the scrawny kush but I did. We’ll see what happens. Installed the lower net a bit above the canopy height. Now it’s just a game of growing a little more before flipping.

March 3: 7/44 Moved light up to accommodate for the stretch growth. Now 8-10” above the canopy. Plants 14-15” tall. Dealing with excessive humidity. March 2: 6/43 Watered 1.5l each plant no variations. 14” tall. 8” to lamp. Feb 27: 3/40 Defoliation and removal of some of the bigger fan leaves and things not getting light. Readjusted light PAR so things are getting 700-900. More training and bending down. Feb 26: 2/40 (day 2 of flowering, day 40 overall) redid nutrients to set up for flowering feeding. Switched over to using EC and looks like I’m running at 1.5-1.6EC which is considered low I think. I’ve heard others pushing 3+. But with three different strains, it’s hard to judge what I could increase it to and be ok with all three strains. Ph around 6.0-6.1. 1/3/1/1/1 Cal mag/big bloom/grow big/tiger bloom/recharge 1.5 L per plant was the target. Dosidos got 1.25L, GC got 1.75L, pink kush both got 1.5L.

Is this discoloration worrisome? Ph 6.1, adding 1tsp calmag to each gal, EC at 1.5. What's causing this browning? Seeing only on the Green Crack, mostly higher leaves, but some lower too. Does it need more or less of something? Leaves look "dirty".

1.5ec seems a bit low for photoperiod plants, they may want more but before doing that check its PH. Give that they are in soil you may want to raise PH up to 6.4-6.8. Best Of Luck!

March 9: 13/50 Watered 2.0 L GC 1.4 L PK1 and PK2 1.4 L D 22” tall, 9” from light March 8: 12/49 More light defoliation. I could take more but don’t want too much stress. I could have kept some clippings for clones around this time. Good to know for next time. March 7: 11/48 More defoliation. March 6: 10/47 Defoliation to allow for light and airflow through and under the canopy. March 5: 9/46 Watered 1.75L each. Started with 1.5L but wasn’t seeing quite enough runoff so I added the extra 0.25L Runoff was 2EC.

March 17: 21/58 Watered with 1/2tsp recharge and 6.4-6.5ph Runoff was about 5.3ph and 4.4EC for GC. GC 2L Everything else 1.5L March 13: 17/54 Recharge watering Watered GC 1.25L then checked runoff. Ph was 5.5 and 4.6EC. Watered 1.4L PK1 and got 3.3EC and 5.6ph Watered 1.25L Dosidos and got 1.5-1.7EC and 5.1ph Watered 1.4L PK1 but did not measure. Watered the GC another 1.5L of 4:1 tap water (ph6.8) and leftover feed (ph6.1 and with recharge) and retested. EC was 3.6-3.8 and I left it there. 8” from light readjusted. Moved up light to be 600-700 par at top of center canopy. March 12: 16/53 Have I overwatered the GC? I'm not sure what the issue is, but just noticed that last time I watered, I watered the GC 2.0L which is more than the other plants.

March 21: 25/62 Watered 1.5L for everything. I think I've had too low of a ph for too long on the green crack and now the dosidos (you can see in the pictures how it's developing spots now too. In hindsight, I probably build up salt on the roots at that too low of a ph so that the plants can't uptake the magnesium in the soil, thus the deficiency. I'll know for next time. Both Pink Kush remain very resilient. I'm also dealing with too high of a humidity when I water. I've tried running multiple dehumidifiers, but no luck. I'll eventually upgrade my outtake fan to try and help too.
