Getting ready to fill the big tent. Aiming for 8/9 plants- all seedsman photoperiods. Hopefully having a good germination rate using my Vivosun plant heating pad. 🌱
All 3 seeds popped- however after a few days one of the plants fainted. She’s standing now, and looks much better- but she’s not growing- so we’ll have to see with her.
Made a few mistakes last week. Lights were too low, looked at the wrong feed chart- major damage to fan leaves. Raised lights, feed with pure water, and fed again at the correct introduction amount.
That being said I skipped an update last week as I did damage control and tried to get a better handle on environment.
Things are looking better!
And they will get a pot upgrade this week into a 3 gallon fabric pot :)
They all got topped this week. A week behind their tent mates- but they are literally a week younger- so on track. Hoping this week brings a lot of growth. They are really lacking in the side branch department
Slow going’s. They are only a week younger then all the other plants but they are miles behind. Hopefully seeing more progress over the next two weeks.
Now we’re catching up. Thank goodness. Things are filling out underneath and I can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring. I hear they get super frosty. 🌱 👊🏻
One of the three took a beating this week when I got cocky and didn’t use snips when taking out a few leaves- and I broke off two branches. Damn. Otherwise I upped the feeding a bit. Then feed with ph’ed water to hopefully offset any buildup
One plant took a beating this week. A sped two branches off her. By accident of corse. Otherwise I upped the feeding a bit but they did not seem impressed so watered with just ph’ed water two days later.
Chugging along. Basically just waiting for the flip- which should begin in exactly one week! Colors a bit yellow- upped feedings a bit, added in 1.5ml of calmag with feedings.
All 3 have differs heights. 13 inches, 15 inches and 19 inches.
Picking up the most growth in the tent so far. Today is day 6 of flower. Changed feeding doses to reflect the light flip. One plant is taller then the others ( including the other 3 seedsman strains in the tent) 🌱
Photo dump. I took everyone out of the tent- gave them each their own personal photo shoot- and checked out their parts. So far so good. Lots of pistols showing. A few formed calyxes and most importantly NO balls.
That said things are going nice and steady. Officially day 13 of flower.
20th day of flower and chugging along nicely. I’m really looking forward to seeing how these finish. I’ve been hearing a lot of positive things from other growers o. The site. Still have plenty of time ahead of me-
Another week in The books. Upped bloom nutrients this week. Plants seemed to tolerate it ok. I’ve seen some beautiful photos of this strain, so I’m hoping mine show a bit more color over the next few weeks.
Halfway through flowering. Took everyone out, removed some yellowing/dry leaves from the bottom- checked for any signs of balls or bananas. Everything looks good, and buds are starting to stack up nicely.
Loosing leaves left and right. But that’ll just make for easier trimming I guess 🤷♀️
Buds are starting to bulk out and I can already tell they are going to be some heavy hitters for sure. Buds taking on really cool colas 🌱
This strain is the longest flowering period I’m growing right now. I’m re-thinking my last feeding on these- I lowered everyone else in the tent, so these got a light feed. Might feed them a bit differently next time just knowing they’ll be running longer. While buds are bulking up- they are still in cotton ball stage. Covered in straight white pistols
Found some bananas on these three this week. Not a ton, and they should be on schedule yo finish in two weeks time. At least I hope.
So. I moved the 3 white widows into the big 4x4, and put the peyote gorillas in the smaller 30x30. The plan now is to allow these to keep chugging while I flush and chop all the girls in the big tent ( seedsman strains in big tent are: white widow, orange cookies x Nicole, and lastly sunset fem 🙂)
One of 3 plants looks like it’s ready to be fed plain ph’ed water- the other two are still popping pistols. A lot of pistols. Like- is that a normal amount of am I beginning to see some future foxtailing?
Still seeing the occasional banana. But not as many as when I first noticed them. The older ones have dried up.
Water from here on out for the two girls still standing. The third got the chop on Thursday and is currently hanging to dry. Everyone one else from this grow have already been harvested- so these are the last two. According to seedsman they have a 10 week flowering time. Which they’ve gotten. But the amount of white pistols make me think that they’re just fox-tailing now.
Buds are big and chunky, so I’ll plan on harvesting soon. Even if they don’t look completely done, I want to avoid waiting too long and having the bananas self seed.
Another week of tossing pistols. Seeing a bit more bananas popping up. I had already hoped to gave these curing- but they disagree. Too bad tho because their end date has been picked.
One more week of whatever this foxtailing stuff is- then snip ✂️ Snip ✂️
Harvested today. Kept a lot of sugar leaves on the plants, but trimmed off any fan leaves. And now we wait. Dry weight coming soon! Really hoping buds look less bizarre once they are ready to cure.
