Hello once again,
The two plants you see are two out of a duzen seeds i germinated 😭
Germination fase did not go well at all, i had four plants but only two of them made the cut. I made this decision knowing that i had to give them more time to spread out to every corner of my grow tent, in the end it took 8 weeks from seed to the beginning of flowering.
Three weeks ago (WEEK 4 of veg) the plants were transplanted from 5l pot's into this 26.6l Pure Pot's, using following mixture:
70% All Mix
30% Vermiculite
After transplant i watered the plants with a solution containing 4ml of Root Juice for every liter of water - to promote quick root growth. I did not add further nutrients to this solution as the fresh soil has got enought food for the plants for a few days
For the last two weeks i have been feeding following solution:
10l Water
10ml Fish Mix
20ml Bio Heaven
20ml Acti Vera
And this week i am using the same recepie too
During this week i ended up adding a second SCROG net for more stability, also the plants have been defoliated and 🍭 as the light cycle is changing at the end of this week
I am feeding following solution this week:
10l Water
10ml Bio Grow
20ml Bio Heaven
20ml Acti Vera
Picture from the day the light cycle was switched to 12/12
During this week Bio Bloom and Top Max (BioBizz) joined the game as we entered in flowering territory.
The two plants are growing very quickly since they entered flowering, i was watering up to 6l every two days for each one of the 26l Pure Pot's with little runoff, the temperature also got up to 27/28 °C water evaporates quickli in those conditions.
This week i am switching BioBloom from BioBizz (NPK 2,0 - 6,0 - 3,5) with RevientaCogollos From Cannaboom (PK 25 - 28) so basically cutting back on notrogen and boosting phosphorus and potassium
This week you can already tell the bigger leaves have gotten lighter because they are not getting any more nitrogen, the picture was takan during the flush on the last day of week 6
About the genetic:
Dos Si Dos was developed from OG Kush Breath, a knockout Girl Scout Cookies pheno crossed with Face Off OG, then crossed again with our legendary Cookies Kush (OG Kush pheno x GSC) AND THAT’S ONLY HALF OF THE STORY.
Add in a subtle blend of Gelato #33 to the pot with its star struck Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC heritage and boom! A new champion was born: a sativa burst of euphoric energy is followed by tranquility with sedative properties capable of happily tranquilizing an elephant, if you’re overzealous or uninitiated!
I left the plants pass the last two days before harvest in complete darkness, to dry i just cut them and hung them upside down, trimming was done by hand when they the plant material was fairly dry
In the end i can say this grow was great 👍
My SF4000 was running at 80% during flowering (about 370W) and had only two plants in the tent (instead of four like planned) still i ended up with 460g of prime bud, no "larve" (tiny, undeveloped bud's) at all! That means 1.24 g/W that makes me happy 😃
Other then that i can say same as in my other diary; great strain from Barney's 🌱 discrete (not very smelly even at harvest) but still a tasty smoke, good yielder, very good resin production, great end product!
Thank you all for following me on this jurney (trip to the past, as these pictures were also taken last year like the ones from my other Diary Dos Si Dos 33 SCROG #2)
Feel free to comment
Happy Growing🌱
Peace out! ✌️
