2 Feb 22 - Starting germination tonight using the paper towel method. Hoping the next 24-48 hours, the taproot will be out and ready for her 3 gallon fabric pot and tent.
Day 1 - Germination started on 2 February and the taproot was out 4 Feb. So starting day 1 today and got her planted straight into the pot and Coast Of Maine Stonington Blend soil. She’s in the tent with her humidity cover on now and just waiting for her to show her head.
Day 2 - She’s up and out of the soil and starting to open up. Her helmet was just hanging on so grabbed a set of tweezers to get the rest off of her. Gave her a spray of FOOP Mist and put her humidity cover back over her.
Day 3 - Her first little set of serrated leaves have developed and all is looking good. Gave her a light FOOP Mist spray and put her cover back on.
Day 4 - Nothing new other than some updated pictures. Still keeping the humidity cover over her and giving her a daily FOOP mist.
Day 5 - Added another layer of soil to the top today today, it’s starting to settle down in the pot. Other than that, gave her another light FOOP Mist and put her cover back on.
Day 6 - Just some updated pictures today and gave her the daily FOOP Mist. Still keeping the cover over her for awhile for a bit higher humidity.
Day 7 - The end of week 1 today and nothing really to speak of. I did give her about 50ML’s of water at couple inches around the base of her stem.
Day 9 - Into week 2 now and not much to speak of, she’s looking good and it having any issues at the moment. Just gave her the daily FOOP mist and put her humidity cover back on.
Day 11 - All still growing well and no issues really to speak of. I gave her about 200ML’s of water around her base and put her humidity cover back over her.
Day 12 - Not looking all that great today so tested the soil and pH is 6.6, no bugs or anything else. Realized after some research that maybe she’s getting too much light and did notice that I’ve been forgetting to dim the light to about 60%. That’s where I had it when I started the FBT2207. So that’s where I got the light set to and hopefully in a couple days she’ll perk back up.
Day 13 - Looking a little better today so I dialed the lights down just a bit more to about 55%. So hopefully now I can get her back on track but still looks like she’s got about the same growth as FBT2207 so not too worried yet. Gave her a foliar spray and keeping the humidity cover off her for the night to see how she does with a bit more airflow going on.
Day 14 - The end of week 2 today and not much change in her. Gonna give her a couple more days and if I don’t see much growth and still looking crappy, I’ll have to start a couple more. I’ll probably still grow these out to see what becomes of them but not looking like much.
Day 16 - Into week 3 now and looks a tad better but probably going to start another seed, just in case. Gonna still grow her out unless she completely dies off.
Day 18 - Looking a hell of a lot better today and got some nice stretching going on so decided to start LST with her today and see how she does. If she’s already stunted a bit from the lights being on full power, then don’t see this hurting her anymore.
Day 19 - She’s recovered from the start of training and looking back towards the light now. She needed some water so gave her a bit of a bigger drink, about 300 ML’s and she got a round of FOOP nutes as well. Once she gets a little more stretching happening, I’ll continue with the training.
Day 20 - Went ahead and re-tied her down again tonight in a different direction to keep the lower stuff getting light. Other than that, nothing else new with this girl.
Day 23 - Into week 4 now and she seems to be doing well after a slow start. Gonna let her get a bit more stretchy before continuing LST. I did up her water intake today and gave her a quarter gallon with veg nutes.
Day 24 - Removed two of her giant fan leaves today as well and tied her back down. A couple lower spots are starting to get some growth going now so should be able to start tying them out in a few days.
Day 25 - Nothing much to speak of today, just waiting for some of the lower stuff to get some more stretching and will start tying them out. Probably give her another quarter gallon of water in a day or two.
Day 26 - All going well and it’s looking like she’s gonna really busy out for the next week or two. Got the pipe cleaners and everything ready to get her tied out. Did a little adjusting to her today and will be giving her a quarter gallon of water and nutes tomorrow.
Day 27 - Did a few minor adjustments to the pipe cleaners today and removed on big fan leaf that was hanging over all the lower stuff and she’s opened up again. I decided instead of a quarter gallon of water, I upped it to a half gallon, so we’ll see how she takes to that.
Day 28 - The end of week 4 and she’s looking good after upping her water intake to half a gallon. Did a few more adjustments to her pipe cleaners and tied her main stem back down again. There’s two smaller ones starting to come up from under the main one so hoping they’ll start going soon.
Day 31 - Into week 5 now and she’s really taken off now. She wasn’t quite ready for water but I’ll give her a half gallon of plain water with cal-mag tomorrow. Did quite a few adjustments to the pipe cleaner and tied out a few other new groaning branches.
Day 32 - Backing off the nutrients to every third watering so gave her a half gallon of plain water with only cal-mag added. Did a few adjustments to her pipe cleaners and that’s about it for now.
Day 33 - All good after watering yesterday so did a light defoliation today and readjusted a bunch of pipe cleaners. She’s pretty much wide open now and will continue LST as needed to keep her nice and spread out.
Day 34 - Nothing much happening today, just did a few minor adjustments to the pipe cleaners.
Day 35 - The end of week 5 and just did a few adjustments to her pipe cleaners and tucked a bit of leaves tonight. She’s nice and spread out and should be set up nicely for flower. Already got quite a few pistils popping out so I’ll probably give her one more week and will start bloom nutes with this girl.
Day 37 - Into week 6 now and this will be her first full week of flower. She’ll get plain pH’d water tomorrow and then bloom nutes after that. Did quite a bit of adjusting to her today and she should be set up perfectly now for the stretch that’s coming.
Day 38 - Did a few more adjustments to her pipe cleaners today and upped her water intake to a full gallon. No nutes today but will get some with her next watering.
Day 39 - Looking great after getting a full gallon of water yesterday. Pretty much readjusted every pipe cleaner today and she’s nice and wide open. I don’t want her to get too stretchy and not be able to hold the weight of the buds when they really get going. I should be able to keep this one low and compact. Looking forward to her really starting to flower.
Day 40 - A couple more minor adjustments and did a little defoliating today. Other than that, she’s nice and spread out and gonna just let her grow vertical from here on out.
Day 41 - Not much happening with this girl, just did a light defoliation and some leaf tucking. Just letting her go for now since she’s set up for flower now.
Day 42 - The end of week 6 and nothing new today. She’s a bit droopy right now, I had her out of the tent and light for a bit while I did a good cleaning and such on the humidifier.
Day 44 - Starting week 7 and it’s really starting to look like this girl is gonna be a beast. She was getting a bit lengthy and flimsy so did quite a bit of adjustments to her pipe cleaners and a bit of defoliating as well. She’ll be getting some water tomorrow along with her first round of bloom nutes.
Day 45 - Nothing much new today but did give her a gallon of water and her first round of bloom nutes today. Other than that, some more adjusting to her pipe cleaners and some leaf tucking.
Day 46 - Did just a couple adjustments to her today and that’s about it. She’s got a couple weak branches so went ahead and turned the fan up a bit more to try and strengthen her up when she really starts building buds.
Day 48 - Nothing much happening with this girl today. A couple minor adjustments and that’s about it. She’ll be ready for a drink of plain pH’d water tomorrow.
Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and not a whole lot to speak of. Just removing a few fan leaves here and there to keep her opened up. She got a full gallon of water with Cal-Mag today as well. All going well and she’s looking nice and frosty and looking forward to finding out what strain this is.
Day 51 - Nothing really to speak of today, all looks well and growing strong. She’s looking like she’ll be ready for more water by the end of the weekend.
Day 52 - Not much happening right now but did remove a couple of the branches that are weak and are not really developing much. She’ll be ready for a gallon of water tomorrow for sure.
Day 53 - Just gave the girl a gallon of water and Cal-Mag today. Other than that, did some leaf tucking and stuck her back into the tent.
Day 54 - Nothing much new with this girl, just some minor leaf tucking, she’s pretty opened up. Buds are really starting to glisten with trichs and looking like she’s gonna be a nice chunky girl.
Day 55 - Nothing much new today, she should need some water tomorrow or Friday at the latest. All is good and she’s chunking up.
Day 56 - The end of week 8 today and gave her a gallon of water with an increase of nutes according to FOOPCanna’s feeding chart. Other than that, just did a bit of leaf tucking with her and letting her go.
Day 58 - Just starting week 9 and all going well and she’s really starting to swell up in some areas. Really sweet smell coming from her but not too overwhelming. She’s still got a good couple days before she needs something to drink.
Day 59 - Nothing really new today, other than removing a few Dan leaves. Other than that, she’s fattening up beautifully.
Day 60 - She’s really fattening up now and should be a chunky beast when finished. Other than that, not much else happening and will be giving her a gallon of drink tomorrow.
Day 61 - She was ready for water today so gave her a gallon of plain pH’d water and that should hold her over till the weekend. Other than that, not much else happening with her, I may start checking out trichs soon but I think she’s still got some time to fatten up.
Day 62 - She’s actually closer than I thought to being ready to harvest. Checked her trichs out today and she’s got a few ambers mixed in there and mostly milky with a few still clear. Depending on what she looks like, she may get chopped down this weekend but still think she needs a little more time to fatten and ripen a bit more so we’ll see.
Day 63 - The end of week 9 and nothing to really speak of today. I did another check of her trichs and she is pretty close to getting the axe. I’m hoping she can make it at least one more week but we’ll see. If she gets to about 20-30% amber, where I like them, I’ll chop her up.
Day 66 - Into week 10 and most likely her final week, she’ll be getting the axe this coming weekend. She’s got quite a bit of amber trichs and by this weekend, she should be about 25%. Gave her a gallon of plain pH’d water and she’ll probably get one more drink before chopping.
Day 67 - Just about finished, gonna give her one more watering when she needs it and when she’s dried out, she’ll get the chop, most likely Friday or Saturday.
Day 68 - Just waiting for her to dry up and I’ll give her the axe in the next day or two. She’s about 15% amber and I’m pretty happy with that.
Day 69 - Gonna chop her either tomorrow or Friday, most likely Friday once she’s dried out.
This was a very easy strain to grow and she took very well to LST. I thought she may have been stunted early on due to have to much power on the light but once it was dialed down and found where she liked it, she took off. I had no deficiencies along the way and she produced some pretty fat and dense buds. To me, she’s putting out a pretty potent earthy citrus smell and looking forward to getting her into curing jars in the next 7-10 days to really bring her smell out. Overall for growth and being able to harvest at around 70 days, I give this girl a 10 out of 10 and we’ll see about the smoke report in the next week or two.
