deanv2 Start Veg - Oxypot 4. 13th March. Starter light / seedlings - : 2x 42 Watt TLED Grow bars.

deanv2 20th March. Excessive pH drift up during day. Transferred seedlings from Perlite/Vermiculite, straight into Hydroton. Less pH drift afterwards. Mushroom CO2 bag in.

deanv2 Week start: 27th March. Water change . During past week , had some issues with pH rising rapidly following pH down adjustments. Using Citric acid may be part of issue. Changed to Phosphoric Acid for pH adjustments. Also struggling with heat in tent due to Phlizon light output. Installed potable aircon to get temperature down. Also - noticed some leaf discolouration slight, and some browning of roots (+ some slime). Added 90 mls Hydrogen peroxide (39%) to treat water. Monitoring effects. Changed to Diamond XML 350 LED light. Phlizon 3000 raises temperature excessively in tent.

deanv2 All good. Reservoir Water change - 11th April.

deanv2 Needed some Neem oil spray on the leaves this past week to get rid of some flying pests. Some pruning of bottom branches and tops done (FIM). Some root health issues (smell) - eliminated with Hydrogen peroxide, followed by Microbial. Then, after 5 days added back Great White beneficial bacteria. New Spider farmer 4000 light working really well. Much lower temp in tent. All good.

deanv2 Week 1 Flowering starts. 23rd April 2022. Water change to new Feed schedule. For initial reservoir charge, added 40 ml Hydrogen peroxide solution (37 g/l) and 40 ml Microbial - to sterilise water for root zone. Great white to be added at end of week, once antimicrobials have depleted in water.

deanv2 Water top ups needed during week. Plants drinking and feeding hard. Did some bending / LST around the Scrog net in last 2 weeks to try and control final height. Letting them go now to stretch. No water change this week. Added 2 scoops Great White to keep roots healthy. Under control.

deanv2 9th May. Starting 3rd week of flowering. Girls stretching, right on time. Several water top ups required over past week, followed by a nutrient adjustment to rebalance the feed. Looking really healthy. This Spider Farmer light is the shit. Loving it.

deanv2 15th May. Starting 4th week of flowering. Mad stretch this week. Raised LED 3 times. Water change, fresh Nutrient feed. Added 40 mls Hydrogen Peroxide solution. (37 g/l) & 40 mls Microbial to fresh reservoir feed. Buds growing now.

deanv2 23rd May - Start week 11. (Week 5 Flower). Water change. Also added 40 ml Hydrogen peroxide 37 g/l , 40 ml Microbial additive to initially sterilise tank load. Delayed stretch from one of the 4 plants, now nearly 140 cm high. Hopefully should be reaching end of stretch - running out of headroom for the light. Buds starting to fatten. Trichomes forming on Sugar leaves near top buds across canopy. Light average distance from plants ; 20 cm approx. closest : 5 cm.

deanv2 30th May - Start Flower week 6: Buds still fattening - Started checking Trichomes (from top colas - nearest to light) under microscope: Clear - however some turning milky already. Will monitor every few days now. Will change nutrient feed next week to run Overdrive (Advanced Nutrients) for the run home.

deanv2 All on track. Trichomes from top Colas mostly hazy / translucent- not far away now. Maybe 1 week away from first flush before harvest. Lower buds shaded by bushy leaf growth will need longer. Considering partial harvest of top mature colas first - within next 2-3 weeks, then 2nd re- nute of reservoir before 2nd final flush and harvest in a few weeks time.
