Bubba Kush Winter Solace

Grisly This is the last week of Veg, just when things start to get interesting. Veg went well with one topping at week 4, constant training and defoliation. Started germination in the final grow pot, no transplants and its worked wonderfully. Key for me was to not over water to let the Promix dry out and the plant to get a little thirsty. Given the size of the pot I was able to saturate the medium, plant the seed and wait. Next watering occurred at week 4! Light schedule is now switched to 11 light/ 13 dark. We'll see if this along with cool nights speed up the flower and terp production.

Grisly Everything is going just tickity boo 😁 Cal Mag and Big Bud added to the nute mix. Mass defoliation completed in prep for flower Plenty of tie down adjustments throughout the week.

Grisly Another week of flower and another week of defoliation and tie downs. All still looking good. Being real careful to ensure toxicity doesn't set in as I get the nutes as high as possible. I think I'll actually try a screen next grow. 😁

Grisly Brought the nutes down by about a quarter as a little burn on top tips continued to show. All still looks good though. And the smell! Zero to pungent in a week 😁

Grisly Another good week Adjusted nutes again by skipping Cal Mag and Big Bud and increasing the remaining 3. Watering is still only once a week but the plant looks great, just hoping the flowers fatten and stretch.

Grisly Still looking good with the flowers starting to show a bit of density and a bit of colour change in some pistols. Looks like it has a long way to go but already smells great. Watered once with standard 3 Advanced Nutrients set.

Grisly All still looking and smelling Great! Not sure whether I'm seeing a little more burn on the ends of the leaves or not. So, I'll bring the nutes down again at the next watering just to be sure. I'm pretty confident the substrate is Ok as I've been watering 2 gallons more than required to try and get a consistent level of nutrients in the substrate. Defoliation has finally slowed to a crawl, only snatching a leaf here and there now. Most remaining leaves have a good covering of trichomes at this point

Grisly Another great week. The density of trichomes and calyx is exceeding past indoor grows. But Any indoor flowering week without toxicity/lockout, bugs or mold is a great week 😏. Took off a few more leaves, everything is super sticky at this point. Still only watering once a week and pushing an extra gallon through to maintain ppm and ph. Added one dose of Big Bud this week to change it up and so far all looks Good. 😁

Grisly Wow the Smell! Fruity and Sour but changes all the time. Alot more orange pistols, the flowers are visibly maturing but there's still new growth daily and nothing but clear trichomes. These are hands down the densest flowers I've grown to date, small but dense. Skipped the Big Bud this feeding but the plan is to keep the nutes and grow going as long as possible. Hoping for a couple more weeks at least. 😁

Grisly Plants are still looking good with new growth showing every day. Really loving how dense these flowers are and am hoping for a 6 to 8 oz yield. They're also starting to darken with shades of purple but still only clear trichomes. I lowered the nutes to half and am still only watering once a week ensuring everything gets bone dry. Really loving the sour, citrus smell. It;s amazing how many different smells have presented in this strain. 😁

Grisly Week 10 of Flower and the Bubba Kush keeps going strong.. Still all clear trichomes so I reduced the nutes again as time is running out. I need the tent cleared by by Apr 10 to make room for the seedlings destined for Outdoor Crop 2022. So 2 weeks left and still hoping it'll finish naturally, we'll see. 😁.

Grisly Flower Day 77 Leaves and flowers are velvety thick with trichomes and nary an amber in sight. Flowers are turning purple and orange while new growth shows daily. The smell when opening the tent is intense, a heavy sour apple. Plant still looks good overall so it will be interesting to see how many more days it will go. 😁

Grisly Last Days for the Bubba Kush. It's going to be sad to harvest as it's been wonderful to watch grow and I'm going to miss that fresh flower smell. On the other hand the flowers are dense and thick with trichomes that are finally maturing. This could be some great smoke. Finally spotted a few amber trichomes and plenty of cloudy ones. I could probably keep it going for awhile yet but it's time. And I need the tent for an early veg of the Summer 2022 grow. Seedlings are already up. AK47, Sunshine Pine, and Gorilla Glue #4 Fast 😁

Grisly Finally made it to Harvest! And Just a few more months and I'll be smoking the Bubba Kush. No Question that if you're in a hurry, growing (anything) might not be for you :😁 Flower is real dense so estimating a 6 ounce yield. Love the colour and sour apple smell of this crop. I'm really hoping the smell and colour persist through the dry and cure 😁.
