Excited for some purple buds!
This is the next of my 6 plant perpetual auto tent. It will grow six autos under 1000w of lighting, 47% humidity and 18-26C. Every two weeks one will get harvested, one will be planted and one will be ready to jar after two weeks of drying in a special drying box I made which keeps it at 62% humidity the entire drying time.
This is the fourth plant of the 6 to be planted, so the first harvest is Purple Punch at the end of march, this Blackberry plant will be harvested mid may, 90 days from now.
Currently all my plants are Fastbuds, and that's the majority of what I'll be growing for the next year in this cycle as I have all the seeds. I have seeds to last all through next year but I may adjust the schedule and zero in on strains I really like. I already know I'll be doing more of the Girl Scout Cookies.
Day 21: She's certainly slower then her sisters but she's looking nice and green and even in her new growth. I'm going to leave her alone and just do leaf tucking and light defol rather then try and lst her. I just don't think she will have the growth to make it worthwhile, i'd rather stress her as little as possible.
Day 25: She's really picking up putting on growth. I'm curious to see if my decision to not lst is a good one.
Day 27: Looking great. Hopefully she keeps stretching over the next week.
Day 30: She's very branchy with not too many bud sites. Signs are there that she's moving into flower but only a couple pistils so this week is officially still veg
Day 31: Gave her her 30 day feed today, looking very happy, maybe even some purple on the stems :P Hopefully as the flowers come in they are purple too!
Day 40: We are well and truly in flower, and showing some nice deep purple on the lower buds and leaves. I am a little concerned with the growth tip turning this lighter green. I suspect it was light proximity, but I'd love second opinions. She's the tallest plant and I had lowered my light a couple inches after I harvested the Purple Punch. Now it's back up again.
Day 44: Beginnings of micro nute def but seems to be clearing up after a feed.
Top of my 40 day old Blackberry Auto has gone light green. I am using 1000w of HID lighting and this is the tallest plant so I suspect light proximity, but I'd love second opinions.
Hey buddy. That immobile nute def. Micro nute def. You need to add a micro nute that has all the lil trace elements autos need because of their ruderrails. The micro I've found that's the best and has the widest range of micro nutes is jungle juice micro, or just get a GEH micro from Amazon. Good luck pal.
Day 48: Well she's huge. There might just be something to this not LSTing autos thing... Starting to crystal up and smell a little like Ribena syrup. Just a soupcon of it.
Day 53: Amazing color, and she's starting to smell more like berries for sure.
Day 54: We have some more nute issues here; some rust spots showing and mottling of the leaves. Suspect cal/mag as she has recently been dosed for micro nutes. The buds are developing really nicely, and she's the biggest plant I've grown, so I guess she's just a hungry girl.
Day 56- Nute issues seem to be clearing up, or at least have stopped progressing. Some of the leaves look better to me. The purple color and quantity of buds is huge!
Day 62: Looks amazing, smells like different fruit, melon, blackberry, currant, its pretty amazing. Buds are a little fluffy but there's lots of them. Looking forwards to this one!
Day 67: Buds are still quite loose and fluffy, but this plant is massive. If the buds she already has just get a bit more solid, she will be a high yielder.
Day 80- Tell me you're done without telling me you're done. She's really eating her fan leaves, but still isn't that amber when i check the trichs. Gonna just keep watering and let her go to 90 there's no room in the drying box anyways...
