3rd run with Mephisto's 4AM. I've been burning/stunting my seedlings lately and I'm thinking it may be the soil. Let's hope this one goes well.
Day 3 - Broke soil sometime overnight.
Day 15 - Stunted. Healthy-looking though, no mutated leaves. Might just take a little longer to get to flowering.
Day 17 - Looking a little better although growth is still slow.
Day 29 - Flowering now. Looks like the stretch will be good to her since she's stayed pretty squat.
Day 32 - Slowly stretching, 4AM has always been a stocky plant for me. She's already pretty stinky though!
Day 36 - The stretch has been good to her! I think this may be the largest 4AM I've grown yet. She's going to need some defoliation soon with all the huge fan leaves covering the lower bud sites.
Day 43 - Great structure on this lady! Just now starting to put on some frost. Looking a little hungry based on some lower leaves but nothing to worry about.
Day 52 - Not as developed as some of my other 4AMs around day 52 so I'm thinking she has another 2-3 weeks at least. Great structure, some visible deficiencies but not too bad.
Day 64 - Getting close! I took her out of the tent to make room for the photoperiod plants, so she'll finish up her last week under CFLs. Trichomes are looking mostly milky but not very much amber except on sugar leaves so I'm expecting another week before chopping.
Day 67 - Still developing nicely even under the CFLs, a lot more milky trichs since I last checked and I can see quite a few starting to go amber.
After high heat and poor ventilation stunted my last few autos I finally have things dialed in again and the 4AM really benefitted from the improved grow environment. She finished up her last week and a half in a closet with CFL bulbs to make room for the photoperiods crowding the tent. I've usually been very timid with defoliation but this time I was more confident and I think I made some good decisions with how to open up the lower nodes to light and airflow. This is my last autoflower for a while and I'm excited to see how my photoperiods turn out. Thanks GD community!
