I lost one of my girls when the dog got into the tent, luckily I got it popped and planted only 4 days after, so the purple pot runtz is 4 days behind the rest, but has caught up in growth.
The Toof decay I lost was just a weird seed that germinated strangely.
I wasn’t checking my ph during the first week and it affected the plants a bit which you’ll see later.
You can see the one Toof decay I lost and why. It’s growth was just not there.
I started correcting my ph this week with a liquid testing kit so it wasn’t *highly* accurate, but got me to a point where I knew I was watering between 5.5-6.5.
I also think I should have watered a bit more and gotten the outside edges wet. They were pretty dry when I checked and I know that’s causing water loss. It’s already got hydroton and perlite so I have to be mindful of how quickly that will disperse.
Plants are starting to take shape and are liking the nutrients for sure. I see a few tops coming out. I’ll definitely be doing lst but unsure if I should top/ fin them this round with how fast autos grow.
In the emerald harvest nuts guide, it suggests to feed with SOME of the bloom nutrients but I have not up to this point, just grow and micro.
The temperature in this tent have been all over the place, due to weather conditions outside and us losing our heater for 2 days, temps ranged from 55 F at night to up to 80 F during the day. They’re ruderalis so thankfully they didn’t freak too much but still that stress isn’t ideal.
The ladies are starting to show pistils so I started transitioning the nutrients to flower. Staying on top of lst but these girls can grow so fast! Also I’m using a flexible coated wire that I’m putting into the soil, and when the top soil dries out it becomes easy for the plant to pull itself up. Smell is starting to come through more. I’m going to say next week will probably be start of flower. Not SUPER excited with how this grow is going. I think a bit more attention to detail and watering more often would have given them an even better start because they’re looking a little small in my opinion.
Hey there,
Thanks so much for growing our genetics, will be excited to see them all flourish ☘️
