Sep 21: end of week 29 which means near the Growdiaries 30 week limit but the plant is nearly done. Might have to start a second diary to finish it though. Note that flash pics of photoperiods are generally a bad idea but i shine a far red light on them at dusk so it’s okay. See Bubble OG manifold diary for details.

@Northern_Ent, I've been growing since jan 21 and I gave about 10-12 plants that's haven't been documented and alot of autos I don't document. I havent rant any autos outside but next summer I'm planning to run some autos in a huge raised bed I created. My photo lineup now consist of all plants finishing middle to late sept so I can beat the fall chill here in nyc that happens late September or very early at times. I am planning to run a few Humboldt next summer that will finish in October but I'll plan ahead to transition them indoors for the final month

@Kloud9gardenz, yeah I’ve got motivated reasoning going on being near Edmonton, but outdoor is controlled by latitude and overnight temperatures. Cold nights are worst on young autoflowers but most others can easily handle a cool night. It also seems to prolong the veg cycle for autos so they end up a bit bigger I think. My autos outdoors always seem to take longer than most. But trying to do this at scale I need fast flowering photoperiods. Right now weather is good but my grow area is shaded and the sunlight is too weak to produce many trichomes so I need options to finish in September at the latest for good buds. I seem to have found some strong candidates this year. 👍 Autos are way easier and produce more than enough for most outdoor home growers. Oh, and all my cannabis growing experience is from the last four seasons with everything documented on Growdiaries. Always learning, or trying to.

@Northern_Ent, yeah you have way more experience at the outdoor game than me but I'm not going to grow anything that big that requires a longer and warmer flowering period. Im very skeptical about keeping my girls in temps under 65 for prolonged periods of time especially with wind chill. I'm glad this was started later in season so I had the option to bring it indoor and finish up

I see people bash GOG all the time but their Candyland is great. I've grown it two summers now and both times it's been pure grape soda smelling/tasting and the high is great as well, like strapping a rocket to your back. 😂

@StridersHeat, just harvested (Part 2 diary) and yeah, Candyland is great.

@StridersHeat, yeah this Candyland is impressive. One of the four doesn’t look like much but the others are great. Looking forward to harvest and the weather looks good for a while longer. 🤞

@Bigdaddystinky, just harvested in Part 2. New record yield, but that might actually be beat by several others this year. The 11Roses x Super Skunk in the field is impressively huge and might finish in time. How’s it going, BTW?

@Bigdaddystinky, thanks. I kind of feel like in university when studying for a test there comes a point where you think you don’t understand any of it, but then you write the test and it’s fine. Hopefully it all comes through. All based on stuff learned on Growdiaries ….

When do you expect it to flower bro
Northern_Ent
Northern_Entcommented2 years ago
@Scandinavia, just harvested in Part 2. New record yield, but my favourites for growing this year are Hash Bud and Gorilla Gelato.
Northern_Ent
Northern_Entcommented2 years ago
@Scandinavia, I’ll start force flowering (12 h darkness for three weeks) on about July 4 meaning all photoperiods should be done by the end of September.

Give it triacanatol and aminos

@GYOweed, hey thanks for the comment. It prompted me to open up the Extreme Blend that is to be used for the main outdoor crop this season. At 1 tsp per US gallon for a once a week foliar spray it is very efficient. Have to see how that works. No barley at the moment, so trying a sprouted popcorn seed tea in a few days once it finishes sprouting.

@GYOweed, okay. Is that a sprouted popcorn tea sort of thing? Or what is the easiest and/or most organic way to do that?

Epic! Only watch out that the weeks in diaries are limited lol your plant will outgrow its weeks 🙃

@NatureSolutions, thanks. I suppose I will run out but I’ll be force flowering it in early July and should be done by September. Check out video I just added for coyowolves howling. Cheers.
