I'm growing two autos in the same tent, both in 3-gallon grow bags. I don't want them to get very big, because the tent is only big enough for one. :P
I started Plant A on 27 Feb. It took ~5 days to grow a tap root, and then I ended up dropping it too deep into the starter, so it took a few days to "break ground."
Plant B was put in paper towel on 5 Mar and had a tap root on 7 Mar! Maybe she senses the competition and wants to catch up. 😄

Plant A is now "in veg," so I made her a new entry in week 2.
Plant B is a little slower, but she'll get there...
Plant A is coming right along. She's more advanced than Plant B cuz she had a few days head start. She'll be fine in the solo cup for a few more days though.

Transplanted to 3-gallon grow bags with Fox Farms Ocean Forest. I also mixed in some mycorrhizae, because that's how I roll.
Though Plant B is sooooo little and not growing much, I'm going to call her "in veg" because of her chronological age. But she's an auto, so she'll do what she wants regardless. 😁
Plant A's roots were a little scrunched in the bottom of the solo cup but not "root bound."
I didn't even see Plant B's roots when I xplanted. Fingers are crossed.

I don't think Plant B is going to make it. She just won't grow, but she's still alive. I'll keep tending her, but I don't expect her to do anything. It'd be funny if she made a little flower tho.
Plant A is doing just fine!

"She's dead, Jim."
Rest in peace, Plant B. <sniff>
I've been negligent on the diary, but as you can see, I have a mini-plant. I think two things contributed to her diminutive size:
* my grow light seems weaker than it was when I first got it, so IDT it's putting out sufficient light. I don't have a good light meter to test it though, so I bought a new lamp. :)
* I wanted to keep her fairly small because I'd intended to grow TWO plants at once in the tent, so I used a 3-gallon grow bag instead of the 5- or 7-gallon containers I normally use.
I ordered a new GROWSTAR Newest MN-W3000 LED Grow Light Bar on Thursday and received it on Saturday! Wow! It was a cinch to hang and came with the yoyos needed. Plant probably won't put out more buds, but maybe they'll be denser and more potent. We'll see!
She's definitely thriving under the new lamp, but it might be a tad hot in there. I see a little bit of "clawing" of the leaves, so I moved the lamp up a couple inches. Two fans are running, and it's not getting above 80F in the tent. Watering every 2-3 days.
I noticed that her leaves have begun to yellow. Seems early to me, given how white her pistils are. In one pic, she was a bit droopy from thirst, so I mixed up some Fox Farms Big Bloom, thinking the 3-gallon pot doesn't have enough nutes for her to draw from. (??)
Leaves are turning yellow and dropping off. I guess she's at about 8 weeks, but I must've forgotten to update the diary, so I'm a little behind. Still, her flowers aren't mature at all.
I'm starting to see some amber pistils. The breeder info says 11 weeks. We're starting week 9, but I'm not sure she'll be done 3 weeks from now. We'll see!
