Well I started the process on 2/27 with the projected 3/1 sprout date. Usually with the sub-par genetics I’ve used I would’ve started on the 25th…
Z1 had a 1 in taproot on the 28th, had to be put in a solo cup temporary house and shed her helmet on the 1st, Z2 is one day behind her, can’t wait to see these girls do their thing…
Going a little slow, one got put in her airpot/ one in a fabric pot. I had to plant them on a mound in their pots while I waited for new soil to arrive, both are filled up and ready to rock!
2-Outlier Z’s
1-green and normal
1-yellow and weird
Normal one in an airpot, yella boy in a square fabric pot, both growing good. I was flushing another plant and saw a damn fungus gnat! I killed it, zipped up my tent and through the infested one in my drying tent with my extra light and fan, went back and covered all my littles soil with Perlite. They got a baby sip of veg nute tea, plain water, then a recharge on 3/15.
Oz’s are plugging away! Z1(airpot) has been growing rapidly, started LST on 3/22 with my new training clips. She’s responding well. Both got the heating pad removed. Z2(fabric pot) is a lil slower, shaking off the yellow slowly, I’ll give her a lil nitro shot(coffee ground tea steeped overnight) with her next watering. Both received 1 plain watering, 1 light veg feeding, plain water, and a recharge this week. They both have doubled their water intake this week as well. Straight organic, I’m digging this!
Man I put Z1 through the ringer this week, 3/28 we went through intense LST training, had to switch her to the big clip at the base and a series of smaller clips, I topped her in 2 spots on D27, at the top of course, but her ass end was sprouting up huge, so I topped/bottomed it 😂 I love experimenting!
Z2 the yellow one also started LST and moved up to the large clip at her base. She also got topped D27
Her older growth has leveled and is a normal shade of green, but the new growth is still coming in very yellowish
Z1 is a tough lady, like daily training and wrestling this one, she’s trying to shoot out all over the place. Z2 is much easier, because she isn’t growing anywhere near as fast as Z1. Z2 was the yellow one, old growth is green and healthy, new growth comes in very light green yellowish.
Z2 is catching up with Z1. Did a lot of LST with the clips on both of these plants. They’re both drinking a lot more water, and requiring more nutrients, I’ll have to start supplementing them soon if I can’t keep up all natural. I had to pry the 2 main colas where I topped on Z1, hoping to get them both to grow away from each other. Can’t wait to see this one come together.
I believe Z1 will be my greatest achievement so far! There both pretty easy now that all that training is done and they’re just stacking now. I released the large main stem LST clip on both of them on 4/19. Z1 was looking really hungry so I supplemented with some synthetic nutrients. She seems to be responding well.
Business as usual for the Z sisters, almost no smells yet from them. Plain water, recharge, & light feeding once a week. One looked like it was going to start throwing nanners, but then just started chunking up and slightly foxtailing.
The Z sisters are finishing up here!
Crazy how much they started fading and chunking up the last week. They’ve both been getting plain water, and recharge once a week. They don’t smell very much, looking forward too freeing up some space in the tent though!
