S04: Gorilla Zkittlez aka Space Cowboy

Hi guys. Welcome to the first week of veg of the brand new Gorilla Zkittlez and the whole fourth season. Not much to report this week, other than all seeds that were put inside rockwool cubes sprouted without a problem after 2 or 3 days. Only the 2 seeds that I've put in the germination cubes with soil from rqs didn't for some reason. It's been a week and after taking both seeds out I can see that there is some minor development but can't say for sure if it's just bad luck or that there is something going on with these soil cubes. That's why I decided to take 2 new seeds, one Mimosa Lemon and Sweet Gelato from Sweet Seeds and germinate them the old paper towel method. We'll see how the new ones are doing. I've also put the both old ones into the paper towel to see if there's still any chance of making them sprout. I'll just cross my fingers for all the unborn seedlings :P None of the seedlings' roots made it through the rockwool cubes, so there are still a few days before I can put them in the 70L water reservoirs. Hi guys, here's a quick update on the Gorilla Zkittlez Auto from FastBuds. I've transplanted all seedlings in rockwool into one instead of two 70L reservoirs because I'm short on space at this moment which should be resolved in a couple of days. Right now it's kind of wild and I can't operate at the level I'd wish. Other than that it seems that the Gorilla Zkittlez aka Space Cowboy seems to be of average size. Next weeks will start to show this genetics' potential so I'm pumped for the time that will come :D I've added a bit of CalMag and Grow Powder from Green House Feeding. Just a tiny bit. Hi guys, here's a quick update on the Gorilla Zkittlez from FastBuds. It feels so good to be back in my tent again with all the craziness around in the last few months. Hopefully everything is back on track and soon I'll upgrade the whole setup to another level when the time is right. I've separated aka transplanted 3 of the plants into the second reservoir with some minor casualties (2 ripped off parts of roots) but other than that the rest went pretty well. The res with Orange Sherbet had a slight deficiency in nutrients and I had to make sure what was going on before I do something with the water, but after reading my plants for a few days I changed the water, adjusted the feeding and voila, the plants is back on track. I believe it's a small setback of a few days maybe. Soon I'll be able to add some Mycorrhizae so I should see the plants explode :D I'm also running all 3 lights from ViparSpectra (3x P2000) right now but the setup will change a bit in the coming weeks so stay tuned. Right now I try to adjust the light intensity using special light meter apps and the knobs on the P2000 are super helpful! The plants seem to love the lights too :D See ya! XOXO Cremo

HI guys. Welcome to a general update on my plants in hydro. I'll start describing them individually in the following weeks when they get a bit older so I can start training them. There are a few awesome news anyway. The preflowering started on most of the plants in hydro which was a bit unexpected to me because I thought It would take them to preflower at least one more week because they're still super small. So I had to act super fast and decide to top'em or not. a few days earlier I was like: fuck it, I'll grow this season without any topping, but 2 days later I was like: Damn, I need to train the shit out of them just like I do every single time. I love to train plants in many different ways and most of the time I succeed spectacularly (imo :P). So I quickly decided to top all of them because the side branches were popping out fast enough to do the job. So here they are. All plants are topped. To make their life easier (or to reduce the topping shock) I've exchanged both reservoirs with fresh and adjusted water with nutrients before the topping. I also started giving them Orca mycorrhizae and I've also installed a humidifier for this stage and I'll add a CO2 pad so I can turn the lights up a bit if they can handle it (if the excess of CO2 allows it). I'm so happy about the P2000 lights from ViparSpectra, They're a dream to work with. The growth is getting insanely fast with every day and the adjustment knobs are crucial to this success (and make my live a lot easier because I don't have to constantly adjust the height of all 3 light)! [EDIT]: A day after the chop, all I can say is that the plants look like the topping never happened. They are growing like crazy and it looks like the top didn't stunt them at all. Hi guys, all the plants exploded after the res water change with fresh nutrients. You can observe the size difference every single day! I've also started training them meaning tuckin' them down. I've also added a Co2 pad which needs to be sprayed with water every day. The root system is looking perfectly! White-yellowish, crispy, vigorous, having a good time in the solution roots. #yummy While tucking them together, I overdid it and one of the new main stems broke off... yeah, I'm over it :) Anyway. Hi guys. Here's a quick update on the 4th season. All in all this grow is a blast. I thought that since I'm running unreleased strains, I might fall into some problems but other than the Mimosa Lemon which is a rather a joke than a cannabis plant it's all good :D The plants are fresh after 140L water change with fresh nutrients. They dig it a lot. I took these shot at night, that's why some plants might look sleepy (no, I don't mind turning the lights on for a few minutes at night to take a few shots). the Orange Sherbet will be the first to harvest. It already smells great because it's the first plant that developed trichomes. Next week, the plants should start smelling a lot better altogether. Right now, the only misinterpretation that I made was the Hadouken that's still in veg, don't know why since it's also a FastBuds strain but hopefully it'll switch soon enough because when it does, it'll be the biggest plant with the extended veg period. There is also one plant in the bunch that's an outlier! It's an unreleased strain from FastBuds and it's by far the strongest genetics I've seen so far. Very vigorous and it takes everything I give it and it looks ultra happy and healthy. I'm also super pumped for the following 4 weeks because I'm about to start shooting close ups next week when all the plants develop enough trichomes :D CAN'T WAIT! ONE WEEK... What of a difference can one single week make? Holy fricking crap!!! That's what I call a proper flowering stretch! The ladies drank 40 litres of water with nutrients. They underwent a manicure and they looked like it didn't even matter. I try to go really easy with the defoliation this season because I want to see the potential difference in growth. I've put a scrog net over all plants. Other than that, the flowering and resin production is in full motion! That means the start of the macro shots for this season. I'm super pumped because I've waited for this moment whole 2 months!!! So please sit back, relax and take a close look at the trichome world of the Orange Sherbet! One last thing, Mimosa Lemon had to go! She transformed into a Hermaphrodite. Good, because I was sick of it! XOXO Cremo

WINTER IS COMING! Looking at the frost on all the plants, winter is definitely coming XD Welcome to another update of this grow season. We are slowly nearing the end. The plants stopped its flowering stretch a few weeks ago (besides Hadouken aka Amnesia Zkittlez which grew to whooping 70cm!). The plants are happy and are fattening up. The trichome production on all plants is insane! I can clearly define which strains are going to be harvest ready at first and Gorilla Zkittlez is probably going to be the third or fourth plant that'll be chopped down. When I open the tent, I get blasted with a massive burst of fruity notes. The smell is insanely delicious! I just want to chop it down already and give'em a good cure because I can't wait until they're done :D Looking at the trichomes of Gorilla Zkittlez, it'll be ready in around 3 to 4 weeks. It's definitely on the smaller size, I believe that I'll probably harvest around 40-60g of dry flowers off of her. But anyways. Check out the macro shot for yourself. XOXO Cremo

Hi guys. It's the time of the season :D I welcome you to the Trichome World of the Gorilla Zkittlez aka Space Cowboy! I truly love this part where I dive deep to take the best macro shots of these beautiful plants. I won't write a lot about this past week because it's been a breeze. The plants drink 40L of water every few days. I did some minor defoliation, just a few snips here and there. They seem to take it like nothing really happened. I still add the same amount of nutrients, I'm trying to keep them at a maximum of 750ppm. I don't see no deficiencies in all the different genetics so that's what I stick to for now. Holy frickin' shit! This is probably the frostiest week so far! God damn, all the plants are looking AMAZING!!!! I really encourage you to take a deep dive into the galleries of this season! Half of the plants are looking good for a chop, which means I'll harvest them in a few days! Looking at the trichomes, they are practically perfect for my taste. It's such a shame you guys can't see the full 42mpx version of these trichomes, they are looking like out of this world! The Viparspectra lights did an outstanding job this run! I highly recommend you try them out. It's not a coincidence that the plants are so frosty. Quality light is very important for good results, just like the perfect growing conditions. It's a no-brainer to me after trying them out. I've used 3 Viparspectra P2000 (3x200W) for this season, and the plant speak for itself. I'm in love the lights and the beautifully developed plants! The smell out of the tent is super sweet, the harvest ready plants are looking damn fine. I ran into a slight issue which I'm in the middle of solving but it seems not to be of a big of a deal. The harvest was of a smaller size but nevertheless it's a great strain. Zkittlez, among a few others is one of my favorite strains and this variety had the effects I was looking for!
