Hello. This is the harvest report for Kosher Haze by SSSC. This is a great strain. Great up head buzz. Nice chunky buds. Sweet earthy smells and tastes. Nice strain. I started 12 regular seeds and got 11 plants that I had to sex. 4 females showed early but 1 took about 2 weeks longer to show her sex. Got 5 females in all, and 6 males which I used for breeding more seeds, Oh Boy, more good seeds to play with and give away. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I picked 2 males that were sticky and smelly to the touch. They had a lot of preflowers (good sign) which I used to pollenate the plants I had growing in the greenhouse. The diary is called Northern Lemnesia and I'll ship free seeds if you would like some. This is a stable strain. When dried, the plants produced 101 to 111 grams of flowers each. With a big crystal covered buds at the end of each branch. The plants stretched a bit with about 4 inches being the biggest between leaf sets. Plant 2 had the biggest buds and plants 4 and 5 were the strongest. Somewhere between 22% and 24% THC Gets you pretty blasted. I feel it behind the eyes and across the top of the chest. Nice up head high. I let them get too dry a few times and I had some fungus gnats and the light might have been up too high for a while, and 1 bud got rot, but the girls pulled through and delivered with some big buds and some potent smoke that tastes sweet and earthy. Thanks. Chuck.

Hello. This is the end of Kosher Haze by SSSC. I got 5 females from 11 seeds. All grew well. Here are the results. Plant #1 Wet Weight - 977 g Dry Weight - 101 g Plant #2 Wet Weight - 860 g Dry Weight - 111 g Plant #3 Wet Weight - 923 g Dry Weight - 109 g Plant #4 Wet weight - 961 g Dry Weight - 109 g Plant #5 Wet Weight - 899 g Dry Weight - 111 g Plant #4 and #5 were the strongest and I'm keeping and regrowing plant #5. Lost 1 bud to bud rot but mostly everything else went well. There were a lot of popcorn buds on the lower branches. This strain would be best grown in a SCRoG type of environment. There were slight differences in taste but mostly it was sweet potting soil with mossy under tones. Gets me fairly blasted with my best guess is about 22% to 24% THC. Plant #1 was around 16 %. I let the plants dry out too much a couple of times and the light was too close for a while, but I got a good crop of big frosty buds to smoke, so I'll get to it. Thanks for checking in. I'd be happy to send you some seeds if you want them. DM me. Chuck.

@Ringo, Hello. I had switched the light to 12.5 hours of light and 11.5 hours of dark at the start of flowering. When I first started growing indoors, the Dutch growers, wouldn't include the first 2 weeks of flowering because you couldn't see any flowers. They would put down 6 to 7 weeks flowering and when we flowered them, they took 8 to 9 weeks to finish. I think everyone does it the same now. Except for autos, they flower a little different. And the stretching is a result of forced flowering. Plants grown outside don't stretch as much but they can start to flower at 14 to15 hours of daylight. That is the main reason we grow in veg at 18 hours of light and force flower at around 12 hours of light. Chuck.

@Drgreen13, I was at a Cannabis Conference in Victoria B.C. Canada in the spring and Remo was there and gave away some Mini Supercharged Kits when it was his turn at the workshop I was taking. He gave 1 to each person and had some kits left at the end of his talk and said if anybody wants another come up and get it. I was out of my seat fast!!!. I ended up with 3 kits and forgot my bus pass and had to walk 5 K home with 6.5 kilos of nutrient solution on my back. But it was free!!! There's another conference in a week at Niagara falls. Check out the web site. growupconference.com Chuck.

@Chucky324, HO HO HO๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘. Thank you, I'm definitely not much, but I'm trying, only when a person knows a lot, only then does he realize how much he knows nothing. I think that a name would suit you better, you have maybe 5-6x more years of experience or more, I got the idea for a name a long time ago, but only now have I decided. Good luck with your growing man. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

@CrazyFlowers07, I got a good laugh friend. The translation said: did you cut off your head before training. And I said to myself I don't think that would work๐Ÿ˜Š. I think you meant did I top them before training. Yes I did. When I HST or top I like to let the plant heal for 3 to 7 days before I do anything else. Let them heal from the stress and they usually will perform well for you. Chuck.

Chucky324commented3 years ago
@Wind_Weed, Hello Friend, I think you mean why don't I repot to bigger pots. These are regular seeds and I'm sexing them right now, letting them show me which sex they are. I thought there was a lot of males at first because I was seeing a lot of little balls where the preflowers show. But happily some of them turnout to be females. I'm waiting for another plant that I thought was a male but it has thrown out some female looking flowers, but no white stigmas yet. I like to have the root balls all the same when starting a diary. It helps in comparing plants and yields at the end. So I'm waiting on 1 plant and then I'll repot and top and train the plants. Thanks for looking out for me. Chuck.
