She’s had a good first week. I was worried she was stretching a bit too much but she seems to have stopped getting taller the last couple of days. I’ll be giving her her first dose of recharge later today.

She’s a little smaller at 14 days than most other autos I’ve grown but she’s looking healthy and happy and that’s what matters! I gave her some more recharge this week so I’m sure her most of her growth is still going on beneath the soil. I’m hoping by the end of this next week she will be ready to top and start tying down some branches!

Hi all! Does this look like a magnesium deficiency? This cherry cola auto is 18 days old and just yesterday I started noticing the discoloration on the leaves. It’s confusing because I’ve used this GreenGro Pride Lands soil several times in the past and I’ve never run into this

Around day 15 or 16 I started some noticing some weird discoloration on a few of the leaves. I suspected a magnesium deficiency and brought it to the grow questions section and most people seemed to agree that it looked like a magnesium issues. I made a calmag foliar spray and misted the leaves and then gave her her first light feeding of veg nutes. So far all new growth looks great so I’m really hoping this problem is now behind me! I generally top all of my autos but considering this one has already shown some issues I think I will just let it ride. I’ll probably do some leaf tucking and a little LST but I don’t think topping is the way to go this time. Now I’m just hoping for a good fourth week!

As of 4/23 she is officially 28 days old and doing great! But if any of you checked out my post last week you might remember that around day 16 or 17 she wasn’t doing so well. She was showing some clear signs of what I believed to be a magnesium deficiency. The veins of her leaves were turning yellow and the edges were showing slight yellowing and browning. I posted a grow question to confirm my suspicions that magnesium was the culprit and several of you fine people seemed to agree my prognosis. A day later I mixed up some water and added a couple tablespoons of calmag and applied it as a foliar spray. Let me just say… WOW! Within just a few days all the new growth looked healthy and green. It was my first time using a foliar spray on my plants and I came away very impressed by the speed in which it works. Now she is growing happy and healthy with no other issues in sight. I normally top all of my autos but due to the bit of stress this one ensured I decided to just let her grow naturally. I have been tucking lots of leaves which has resulted in several bud sites now stretching up towards the light. I also performed some LST early in the morning on 4/23 and bent over the main stalk and then tied it down to expose even more of the precious bud sites to the light. Right now I am very, very pleased with how this plant is coming along and I just want to say thank you to all of you who offered me advice regarding the magnesium deficiency. All of you were extremely helpful! This plant is on its way to becoming a beauty!

She started to flower this week. She’s looking nice and healthy and appears to just be starting to stretch. I gave her her first dose of bloom nutrients today and * also gave her a misting with some calmag water. It’s been so dry here lately that it’s been difficult keeping the humidity up. I find that giving the plants a daily misting really helps counteract the low humidity levels.

Some of her upper leaves have started showing signs of what looks to be nutrient burn so I’ve cut back on the feeding for the time being. The buds are looking super frosty, though, and the smell is super fruity.

She received only plain water this past week and it definitely put a stop to the nutrient burn. Many of her top most leaves still show the effects of over fertilization but it has stopped progressing and the buds continue to fatten and put on frost. She smells super sweet and fruity. I can tell this is going to be a very strong smelling strain.

This plant continues to impress me! It is incredibly frosty and sticky and it’s easily one of the more pungent smelling autos I’ve ever grown. After dealing with some nutrient burn and giving her plain water for a few weeks she seems to have recovered nicely. I decided to resume feeding this past week. I expect she’s going to need another 3-4 weeks before she’s ready for harvest. Thank you for checking out my diary!

Damn this plant is frosty! It’s smell overpowers all three of the other plants in the tent. It’s a super loud and fruity smelling strain. It’s buds are getting fatter by the day. I’ve been taking it easy with the nutes because she seems to be very sensitive. I have been alternating between feeding and just giving her plain water. That seems to be working well. I’m hoping she’ll be ready for harvest in about 2 weeks. Possibly 3.

The terps on this plant are absolutely insane! It really does smell like sweet cherries. Her buds are getting thicker and thicker and her trichomes are about 50/50 cloudy vs clear. She’s still sucking up water quickly so she definitely still has some time left. I’m hoping she will be ready for harvest in 10-14 days. There isn’t much left to do besides just waiting for her to finish. I will probably end up harvesting the top most colas first and letting the lowers go for an extra week or so. As always thanks for reading my diary!

She wasn’t a huge yielder but her terps are very impressive and she has more than enough potency! I found her to be a very balanced hybrid.

The buds were dense and frosty with awesome terps! She took 83 days from seed to harvest. I found she was a bit sensitive to nutrients so next time I’ll probably start off a little lighter with the nutes!

I know I'm 8 weeks late but for future reference the best thing for Mag is Epsom Salts. It's cheap, ph neutral and it's hard to over do.
