Vegging in the garage was extended as “flower shack” construction in back yard delayed several weeks. 2 of the 4 girls started flowering early, still on 18 hours light. Maybe stress due to cold?

Flower shack is completed and girls are moved in. Trying to dial in the Temp/ humidity levels. Girls are drinking much more water now. Added beneficial predatory bugs. Installed ProGuard Mini.

Outside air temp and RH have been more stable this week, making it easier to manage in the shack. Fresh predator bugs arrived today. All is well I hope✌️

So first day of week 5 Flower I see 3 leaves with the middle and adjacent petals showing yellowing around the edges and brown spots too. Fan leaves above and below look perfectly ok.

Looks like nutrient burn. She’s a little high in nitrogen. Water feed for a few days and convert to a bloom tea for the week.

Everything looks good. Struggled to find a wall mount osc fan that worked in my space - finally got one -Lasko brand. So far so good. Slow oscillation and 3 speeds 👍. Having to build bamboo support structures at last minute - just in time I think. They are drinking about 1.5 gals each, every other day. Feeding every other watering. 2nd batch of beneficial predator bugs is about spent, ordering more. $50 a pop is steep but they must be working.

Week 7 of flower. Bamboo supports all done. These two didn’t fill in between the nodes as complete as the other two but everyone seems happy.

Cute pup. That’s not normal to start flowering under 18/6. I’d let it go full 8 weeks tho assuming you’re saying you’re at day 50 of flower (beginning of week 8). Personally I’d go to day 56, maybe 60 max and pull her.

Hello, there friend, Congratulations on getting into cannabis growing! Would you be alright with me offering some general pointers for you? So cannabis plants love heat and humidity. The buds HATE it, In veg we can exploit this for much more vigorous, Faster growth. We want to look for temperatures of 79-84 MAX in veg & no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. We want to keep our temperature gap's tight between lights on and lights off if we allow for too much temperature fluctuation at this stage of growth our plants will stretch a lot we do not want that. In the first few weeks of veg we can utilize humidity of 60-70% to great effect if we combine our temp & humidity to use a VPD chart and optimize both together, VPD stands for vapor pressure deficit. All new growers should learn this and get used to using a VPD chart. Here is a great article on it and the chart I use. https://cerescann.com/importance-of-measuring-vpd/ When we are in flower temperature control is very important to how our buds will develop. If our rooms are too hot we get big airy buds with not very much resin, If our rooms are too cold we will get very dense caked buds but lose a lot of size. We want the best of both worlds, To achieve that we want to look for temperatures of 77-80MAX with lights on and no more than 9 degrees less with lights off, Once our plants finish growing vertically by weeks 4-6 of flower we want to then open up our temperature gaps as by now our plant's responses to this environmental stress have changed. Now instead of stretch, they will put extra energy into the budding and resin production processes. If you haven't done so already get yourself a PAR meter & thermal laser temp gun like the fluke 64 MAX, These pieces of equipment will really help you read your plant's needs and better grow to them. If you do not have them get some pulleys for your lights like the sun grip light pulleys they are great to adjust your light to plant distance. If you have any questions or need any help please do not hesitate to ask, Just follow my profile & DM me! If you are interested, Check out my youtube page it is linked to my grow diaries profile. I am going to be releasing a tutorial series for all levels of growers very shortly starting by April 20th. I hope you will check it out. Happy growing!
