This is a mid-way journal for my 3rd overall grow. This girl is growing in a 7 gallon generic airpot with a FF coco loco and perlite 60/40 mixture. She is under a 1200W COB LED light on a 22/2 light schedule. She lives in a 48x48x78 tent with three other strains. I decided to try tomato cages this round since my last grow leaned to a deadly level. I'll be updating with more pictures soon.
As of now, this girl is more of a bush with tons of spreading out to the sides and not as much height growth. She is still in veg but near flower/preflower(for some reason it assigned it as flowering). I have only been tucking fan leaves daily to expose branches. She gets one gallon of water every other day, alternating watering and feeding. on feeding days, I use the above mixture. On watering days, i add 2tsp/gallon of both silica blast and calmag. On every watering, i use 2tsp/gallon of bush doctor flowers kiss as a foliage spray.
She is going to stretch when the time comes, so I'm excited to see how this girl turns out.
Shes about 24 inches tall. She's stretching and keeping her bush like structure. I snapped one of the lowest fan leaves off since it was caught twisted.
I couldn't believe my nose! The stem I snapped smells like an intense tropical koolaid. Super sweet with a strong orange and citrus smell, but definitely tropical. It blew my mind that the inside of a stem could smell that good. I wanted to eat it.
She does look odd in the pics cause I switched her side and am trying to flip the side most exposed to the LED.
She's filling up the empty space very well and is stretching outwards even more now. Shes still growing more in length and height over bud size. She smells absolutely delicious.
She's finally putting on a little bud weight and size. She's still got a ways to go before she's close to harvest. It does look like shes done stretching for now though. She is showing a slight burn on her tips. I plan on flushing her this week to get rid of the buildup/issue.
Shit got hairy when i was doing this grow. I ended up having to chop her way earlier than i wanted to, which makes me super sad. That being said, this is my 2nd favorite strain to smoke ive ever grown, out of my 4 grows. She is my 2nd favorite to grow as well. The smell she gives off in mid-veg to flower is INSANE. The stems, leaves, everything, smells super super tropical.
even though i had to chop her early, she was still a very potent, delicious smoke. A very nice sativa hybrid that STANKS like tropical pineapple. Flavor was sweet, tropical, mango/pineapple madness.
After a few tokes, it is a very clear sativa. After you reallllllly toke up, it feels like more of a hybrid. Its an amazing balance. 10/10 high.
