I gave her a bath in RO water for 24 hours. Next was the paper towel treatment, she cracked in 24 hours but I waited til the root was 1/4 in the next day. Took 48 hours to pop out of the soil and then the seed shell was stuck on. I helped her out, and it took a couple of days and a drop of water for her leaves to open. It was cool she waited for me to see it, wish I had a video.
It was a struggle at first but she finally spread her leaves. She is gaining strength and off we go. I will probably transplant her later this week. Stay tuned😀
Update: I couldn’t wait, she went into her pot and seems to be happy!!!
She is growing well, after a slow start. Light is 17” and the par is 600ish. I am going to make canister with yeast. Having a problem with low humidity and high humidity at night in the 70% range. Still just watering with cal mag, VJ and B-52 about 50-100 ml every other day.
End of week update: the environment is doing better. Moved the light a little closer about 700 par. Watering has been 2-3 days about 75ml. Exciting things to come…
So far so good, water about every 2-3 days about 50-100ml. Mist with water on non watering days. I will be trying my hand at LST next weekend day 18-20 if she is ready.
Update: LST on 20th day, it was 4/20. I was going to do some tucking and more LST daily until I see flowers
LST happened on 4/20 was a little daunting at first but it looks good. I did not want to get to aggressive on my first time. Been feeding about 100-200ml of roh2o with b-52 every other day as needed. Having problems with humidity either to high or to low, I need to get a controller.
Day 23 fed 250ml roh2o and b-52
Day 25 looked thirsty so I fed 250ml roh2o w/ bud candy, cal/mag, voodoo juice. Looks like the white hairs are coming out to play! Stopped the LST since we are starting to flower and I will defoliate if/when it is needed.
Day 26 just misted with roh2o.
Day 27 watered 500 ml
Day 28 a little lst
Day 29 gave 500ml of water & nutes, I had to do it during lights out
Day 30 gave 1000ml water
Day 31 tucked a leaf that was blocking cola, and misted some h2o
Day 32 1000ml ro h2o with calmag, voodoo juice, bud candy
Day 33 looking good
Day 34 looking better
Day 35 fed 1000ml ro h2o with calmag, voodoo juice, bud candy, big bud, sensi bloom A & B
This one started slow but finished as strong as all others in my tent. Look the healthiest and was the most resilient plant of this grow. Already started my next grow using Humboldt seeds.
This is to small and you will not need defoliation likely. Most leaves will be needed since there are few. Please give her more water when watering at this point. Pour water in a circle all around her. If she is dry and thirsty 1/2 gal is fair but possibly minimum quantity you should be pouring in. What it can hold it will run off. Out the bottom, remove the run off so it does not soak back in. She is shriveling because the root ends are dying as they hit the dry dirt. This is shocking the plant severely. Keep the nutrient intake lower and every other watering only. Just be sure once you water allow it to dry for days until the pot feels nearly dry again and the plant almost asks for water via minor droop. Then re water. At this point you cannot afford one more slow down in its life cycle. Good luck

Thank you I have been wondering about under watering them, I have increased water on day 27 & 29 I have given then 500ml, I will step it up to 1000 next time.
Let me re visit. I have used 1 gallons before. 1/4 gal is the minimum quantity you will need but likely more to get the run off out the bottom required at each watering. She will bounce back and do well.
