I was gifted a few of these Sour Grape Punch clones from a buddy they are a limited release and I kept the prettiest girl of the bunch and look forward to this grow.
After a lot of consideration I only kept the nicest clone with the best node spacing because I really want to experiment and see how far I can push the limits in terms of Scrogging, defoliating and topping. I'd really like to attemp to fill most, if not all of the canopy with the single plant. I'm thinking I'm going to try and veg for a couple to a few month before flowering and am really going to try to turn this girl into a monster.
So far I've been vegging this girl in a one gallon pot and plan on moving it to a 5 or 7 gal in the coming days. This plant is basically a teen and a little taller than I would have liked to start with so lets see how this goes🤞 .
The environmental conditions have sucked and its been really dry. When my humidifier runs out the humidity drops to around 30%. This plant is looking pretty crappy due to the dry condition and warmth from the light. I'm going to dim the light a bit and see if it helps control the enviroment in the tent.
Put up a net and defoliated a bit. Nothing really exciting going on. The humidifier I had broke and I had to replace it. Im going to work on getting the humidity back up.
Continuing with the veg feed chart. I've done a decent job of keeping this plant low and wide.
I almost had a disaster this week. I had guest over and would rather tham not know about my hobby. I was unable to mix nutes or water and by the time I got to the plant it was shriveled and looked dead.
I blasted the humidity and watered and luckily it sprang back to life.
I used the same nutes this week. This plant needs some serious deleafing.
The succes rate on my clones was about 50% I used Tribus on half of them and used a different beneficial bacteria product and Tribus definitely kicked its ass.
I flipped around the 1st of July. I really wanted to grow this thing out but I need to have it finished before a certain date. This thing did not stress nearly as much as I thought it would, which is kind of unfortunate. I'm going to hit this with a bloom booster this coming week.
I can probably chop this now if I wanted to but im going to push it another 6 days before I start to flush.
The buds look OK size with an OK amount of trichomes.
Ive been battling the heat and had to dim down my light a bit. I know these buds would have looked much better and much heavier with the light at 100%
