Ok wow what a difficult start to a grow.
You don't think about how much a plant going into flowering can set you back when you need to reveg it to even really get started. Lack of light can be a huge problem. Being that the days are longer now I really didn't expect letting a plant be in the window so briefly would trigger flowering...but a good learning experience.
Typically I would have them under a temporary veg light, but there's only so much room. So for now its the Hurry Up And Wait game.
I also made a significant mistake when moving her to her permanent home in the 2x4x6 growtent. I went to change my timer to be 18 hours on 6 hours off...and I totally did the opposite! So for two days she only got 6 hours of light! Omg! Someone send me to grower school cause I am making some stupid mistakes!
From the low light she did get a bit of leaf yellowing, but fortunately Once I got everything corrected her green color came back and she bounced back. I also noticed that she was feeling not so secure in her cup so I added extra soil and pressed the soil down to get her more upright and secure.
She's now happier and healthier in her comfortable tent and with the proper lighting from the Mars Hydro SP6500, I kept the % down a bit still and will ramp it up slowly.
Happy growing all.
You're spot on.. we've been fooled by gimmicks but we only use water these days too,..we soak cuttings in water 3-5 days and then into soilless media which stays saturated for approx. 2 weeks and nearly all cups will show new growth by then 💪😺 🌱...good luck with her!!
@Kitties_and_Colas, right, these hydro and grow stores really have everyone fooled. Ugh like the advanced nutrients guy, basically "Boats and Hoes" if you grow with Advanced Nutrients you can have Boats and Hoes too Whooo.
I wanna get wise and get going on living soil, let mother nature help me out.
