RQS has sent me 2 different strains of regular seeds..
I hope to find some good phenotypes to keep as future mother plants.
I sowed 12 seeds of each strain.
10 of 12 Shining Silver Haze seeds have germinated in one week time 👍
7 of 12 Amnesia Haze seeds have germinated in one week time 💪
Seeds are in a greenhouse, without extra heating. We are in March and it is still very cold at night (close to freezing point) 😵.
Day length is 12 hours. When the sun shines, the temperature can rise to 25 degrees 😁
👉12 of 12 seeds of Shining Silver Haze have germinated = 100%
👉7 of 12 seeds of Amnesia Haze have germinated = almost 60%
Plants grow under natural sunlight in a greenhouse started in march (51° NB), with short day length and cold nights.

Now we are in the first week of april. And it has been a cold and windy week.
I couldn't keep all plants, so I selected 12 plants :
👉 6 Amnesia Haze (regular)
👉 6 Shining Silver Haze (regular)
I repotted the plants on DAY41 in 7.5 liter pots
I moved the plants to the big greenhouse
I took two cutttings from each plant. For this I used the two lowest branches. After taking the cuttings I removed the rest of the branches.
I topped the other branches.

👉 I'm going to make a restart with this grow diary. Now that I have taken 2 cuttings from each mother plant, I will flourish one half, while I will use the other as a (provisional) mother plant. As soon as I see 👉 the gender I remove the males. After flowering I select the best female.

😰 I have cut all motherplants, because all cuttings (2 of each plant) have become clones ! Some of the clones were well rooted, others were not.

Below you can see a list. The first number is the height; the second is the length of the biggest leaf (with stem). The Third number is my judging on the general appearance of the mother plant. The fourth number is how well their clones were rooted :

I potted the clones in 1 liter pots with Plagron growmix, Biovin and Mycorrhiza.
This week I repotted the selected 6 Shining Silver Haze clones and 6 Amnesia Haze clones, from 1 liter to 7 liter pots 👍
I've got a backup of each strain which are in the greenhouse with natural daylight.
DAY25 = 25 days after cutting the clones from the original motherplants
DAY28 means 28 days after taking the cuttings of the mother plants.
Clones are now between 20 and 25 cm in height.
The photos were taken on the last day of growth.

In my greenhouse are the back-up original sisterplants
👉 The plants are in the tent. First week of flowering the clones. The lamp starts at 9 am in the morning, at 9:00 pm it goes out.
👉 When the weather is nice, I remove them from the tent and put them in the sun. They love that.
👉 On day 6 no sign of male or female flowering characteristics.
👉 Height 25-40cm
👉 Hot week. So I remove the plants from the tent and put them in the sun. They love that.
👉 Light Deprivation from 9 pm till 9 am by putting the plants in a dark night room
👉 On day 8 (day 36 after cloning) I separated the males from females. I didn't have any space to keep the males alive, so I had to cut them. 6 of 12 were females.
👉 On the photos you can see the flowering plants and in front the sister keeper clones
👉 Height 30-70cm
All plants on the pictures above are clones.
The original mother plants were REGULARS.

When I heard RQS added some new regular strains to their vast catalogue, I was very curious. I had some bad experiences with their previous release of regular seeds (Marula Fruit, Pumkin Kush etc), so I was a bit anxious. But these seeds (Amnesia Haze and Shining Silver Haze) are faboulous and therefore highly recommended.
Relatively short flowering for a mainly haze variety. All plants perform really good. 💪
The the best pheno was #2, but unfortunately I have no clone from her (didn't rooted well) 😥

Hi, I've got some good cookie clones from feminized plants (see previous grow). Did 2 succesfull grows with them. No sex problems. Big (in size and quality) yields 😊
Now RQS has come up with some classic strains in regular form. Some say regulars are even better for creating motherplants.
So I'll grow these ladies/men and as soon as possible, I'll cut clones of them.
Then I'll have two options:
👉 1. SHORT 12/12 period just to check the sex of the plants and then reveg them
👉 2. LONG 12/12 period to check the sex, harvest, taste and decide witch pheno's I'll keep.

@Eauderay, THX 😊 I've harvested the. The smell is fantastic.😛 Just removed the fan leaves. Let them dry by just hangin them upside down. I already tried some lower buds. Tastes a bit too greeny fresh, but the effect was already great (even the lower buds)
