3 or 4 days into flower and have flushed the system and now have the girls on the bloom food cycle. I’ve also bumped up the silicon and Epsom salts while I pull through the net. I find that this helps with bending and not breaking … or if you do break, repair is much easier.
On that note, I did snap the Ssog in half … almost 🤢 puked … I duct taped it back together, and Shazam, within a day it’s was back to normal. I’ll take a pic next week before I take the tape off, and then one after. It usually creates a big knuckle. Ive broken many a plant growing trees, but this is my first in a scrog.
If I was to guess, I’m thinking the Cinderella and sugar breath are not going to be huge … however I think the Ssog should make up for them and could be a dandy. Fingers crossed I get some good stretch in the gelato, at least around the centre of the tent. If not 2lbs will be a tough ask … give it a week and I’ll have a better feel.
I’m in dwc, and at 5.8 I’d be limiting nitrogen uptake. I’d try lowering if you can point me to anything supporting your comment …. I’d try anything that will help.
I do run a lower ph in clone, and in my transfer over to my dwc system for a few days. But once roots pop out of pot and lights are over 25% I go over 6. Then drop about a point a week.
I won’t hit 5.8 until week 3 or 4 of flower.
@love_2_grow,
It took a couple runs to figure out how to fill the net and also keep an even height canopy to suit my layout … and I’m growing 4 separate strains to boot, so that doesn’t help. So I think I’ve got my plan on how I’m going to prune and pull through the net …
I’ve also got a better handle on ppm at the mid bud weeks to suit the larger plant, and am much better with what I think are proper NPK levels. I’ve also become a ph ocd person, and understand how or effects nutrient absorption.
It’s all just talk for now … but am hoping this is my best run yet.
