Green Crack had a 4-6 day growth stunt between tail end of week one. Bummer, as the 2nd seed never popped ☹️ The 2 Mimosa Cakes both got a little too close to the veg light for half a day cycle. Caught it about 8-10 hours in. Both cheated up immediately 🤗
This week was a fun one. Although I found the center branch broken two nodes down on Mimosa #1 late last week. All three ladies are thirsty, hungry, and happy! Lite defoliation and LST is all that was on schedule, but now we have a late topper. Crossing my fingers that losing the center cola didn’t take too much weight from the final weigh in.
Accidentally lost a top this week to a fallen fan ☹️ Hopefully we can recover without too much loss. All ladies are very healthy, even without a head or two.
Last week’s nutrient Tea worked out well. Thinking about doing a stronger batch next week. That will more than likely be my last feeding. This week I top dressed with a tbs of 4/4/4, 2 tbs of 3/9/4 bloom, bat guano, and a cup of worm castings.
Compost tea has been just what the doctor ordered. This time I went double previous strength with a focus final flower production. This will be the last feeding for two of the three ladies.
Boring week for a farmer. It’s just a waiting game at this point. All feedings ended for both Mimosa #1 and Green crack on day 70. Mimosa #2(tall girl) received her last feeding on day 75 in the form of a half strength tea and sugars. Just water from here for all three healthy ladies 🤗🤙🏽
I was pleasantly surprised with Green Crack as a whole throughout the grow. She stayed healthy throughout her lifespan while producing decent sized colas in bloom. I would suggest a slightly higher temp in late veg, closer to 80-84. I have her hanging in my dry room at 66 degrees and 62% RH. The smell is starting to envelope the room with a strong fruity almost tropical aroma. I can’t wait to update my diary after she’s dry enough to smoke but even more excited to try her after a solid 30 day cure.
I harvested one of the Mimosa Cakes last week. It’s in day 7 of drying with about 3-5 days to go. Stay tuned for the smoke results and final weight!
