The long-awaited tutorial series begins with the arrival of our equipment and the construction of the first tent. We will be doing 15 autoflowers under 3 spectrum king 640W LED's. This tutorial series will focus on observing the life cycle of the cannabis plant & the basics of growing it. The tent still needs to be finalized & cords properly run and zap strapped. They were plugged in to test the PAR in these photos quickly so stay tuned for more photos before the seeds arrive of the finished clean tent!
The genetics in this series are sponsored by seedsman. We are growing some of their best autos which will be on sale coming up for their amazing 420 PROMO make sure to stay tuned for that!
If you're interested in trying out these strains please use our affiliate link!

Once the seeds have arrived we are going to submerge them in cups of water for 24 hours before putting them into the substrate. To see if there really is any difference between seeds that sink or float.
So stay tuned for more updates. As soon as the seeds arrive germination will begin, Thank you all for your patience. This series will be the first of many awesome grows I share with this community.
** UPDATE **
April 9th 2022 - Ducting & Exhaust fan finalized, Cords properly run and cleaned up. All that is left is to mix the soil with the glacial rock dust, Diatmomatious earth & fill the bags, Then as soon as the seeds come it is germination time! ** UPDATE **
May 6th 2022 - Almost 1 month later, Still no seeds here from seedsman, unfortunately. We will just have to use their genetics in the next round. As of Monday the 9th of May we will be starting up germinating the autoflower genetics I already have in stock from OAseeds.com, I want to take this time to apologize for this huge delay in getting this series started. I have done my due diligence giving seedsman plenty of time for their order to show however I can only wait so long. All you guys have been so patient and deserve to see this get underway so that is exactly what is happening.
This weekend I will be recording an episode of how to amend soil, What I will be amending the soil for these autoflowers with & reviewing the nutrient recipe we will be using, and then finally germinating these ladies! The strains we will be using are going to be as follows:
OASeeds :
Skunk auto x10
Cheese XXL auto x2
Northern lights auto x4
Fastbuds :
Wedding cheesecake x1 ( Sent to me by 1Right_Angle here on grow diaries, Check him out and give him a follow!
As soon as I germinate the seeds on monday I will change the strain information within the diary its self. Again, Everyone I am sorry for how long this has taken but I wanted to be professional and give seedsman the chance to get their stuff here on time as we agreed upon. I am thankful to seedsman for being understanding however and allowing me to go ahead without strains from their catalog for this first tutorial series. So thank you for that seedsman & I look forward to growing yours next round!

May 13th 2022 - After 3 days in bags the first seeds have begun showing themselves above soil. So far we are sitting at 8 out of 17 germinated. Seeds where soaked for 24hrs in 68 degree water PH'ed to 6.1, After this they where placed directly into the substrate
( Pro-mix HP M ) and given cap-fulls of water daily (3x capfulls per bag directly at site of germination)
Environment was pre-warmed up to 80 degrees before the seeds went into the grow bags. The humidity was also raised up to 75% to match and give us a solid VPD for veg of 0.89VPD. This was also done to ease the seed husks off the seeds easier being in a warm humid environment. It also prevented the wet spots in the bags from drying out which was great.
** May 13th 2022 - Now we are at 10/17 seeds germinated and they are as follows :
6/10 Skunk
2/2 Cheese XXL
2/4 Northern Lights

8/10 Skunk
2/2 Cheese XXL
4/4 Northern Lights
1/1 Wedding Cheesecake
Total of 7 days in bags now. Almost ready to yank out the 2 bags that have not germinated yet.
Plants given a light feed of :
NPK RAW : B-Vital 1/8th tsp per .5gal
Green Planet : Root Builder 2.5ml per .5gal
PH : 6.1
PPM : 390
Temp : 68f
0.5 gallons between 15 plants. 5,000 ML divided by 15 = 333ML per plant on avg.
May 17th 2022 - 15/17 germinated removed 2 bags with un-germinated seeds. Today is day 7 in bags. It took 3 days for the first set of 8 seeds to germinate which means our oldest sprout in the tent right now is 4 days old.
- Sprouts still fairly moist from last watering of 333ML ea on avg, Today will be a non-water day.
**NOTE / TIP ** When you are aggressively trying to dry out young sprout's like this to promote their roots to grow outward, Be conscious of your light cycle. Using a 20/4 light cycle means a lot of time for them to dry out, Check them periodically through out the day & utilize your alarms on your phone. BE DILLIGENT. Plants this young can die very quickly if they dry out, But this will reward us with much less time spent in the slowest stage of plant development which is the sprout phase. We want to utilize the humidity to allow the plants to have foliar intake from the leafs, But we also want to be encouraging the plants root structure to search for water.
8/10 Skunk
2/2 Cheese XXL
4/4 Northern Lights
1/1 Wedding Cheesecake
** UPDATE ** May 18th 2022
Heater finally plunked out on me last night dropping our night time temps last night to 55 degrees, OUCH. Today it was replaced at lights on with a Honeywell space heater to prevent that from occurring again. What did we learn from this ? Never use dodgy equipment! Some of our northern lights sprouts seem to be developing a purple hue to the leaf already due to this massive temperature drop. I have never seen this in sprouts before and it is only on the NL. The oldest sprout in the room today is 5 days old as it was 3 days to germinate & today is 8 days in bags total. Once the oldest set of them have reached 7 days old, Week 2 will begin & the new episode will release!
** UPDATE ** May 19th 2022
Day 6 above soil for the oldest set of 8 sprouts. The rest are 5 days old only 1 day behind. Today Is going to be their first watering with a good amount of liquid. We are using 500 ML per plant today same feed as before :
- 1/8th TSP of B-Vital
- 2.5ML of Root Builder
* per half gallon.

PPM - 650 @ 6.1 PH 68F
May 23rd 2022 - Day 10
Today I F.I.M'ed exactly half of the plants & recorded some nice tutorial footage on how to do so. I will stress that this is just an experiment on autoflowers & I do not recommend trying this yourself on autoflowers until we see the results at the end of the harvest. However,
This is exactly how I will be showing you all to train photoperiods when we get to that down the road after our second installment in the autoflower series.
The plants have also grown up into the PAR more now & we are seeing from 600-700 PAR across the plants at this point.
May 24th 2022- Day 11
Not much action today, Plants do not need water & are drying up nicely on schedule. Next feed will be their first feed more than 500ml this time looking to give each 1 litre. Not sure yet if it is going to be a water day or a feed day, We will see what the plants tell us when the time comes! The Cheese XXL is for sure the strong winner in the room so far & has responded best to the F.I.M session, Followed by Skunk & Then wedding cheesecake.
May 25th 2022 - Day 12
Today Sarah & I decided to spend some good time together with our little girl so I took 2 days off leaving my dad in charge. The plants look great today & My wife & I decided to kick off 1 Spectrum king and leave only 1 light on so the management would be less for my dad who works a job already. We did not need to water them & both decided it would be best to let them continue to dry out over the next few days.
May 26th 2022 - Day 13
N/A - Not home, On mini vacation with Sarah Leckie. Mark Leckie in charge of tent.
May 27th 2022 - Day 14
My wife & I return and all I can say is WOW, The plants have almost doubled in size, They are all responding very well from the F.I.M & the one Northern Lights that took the most from the heater failure now looking much better. We recorded some great footage together for the next episode about when best to water, What to look for, Some very good detailed information about the F.I.M technique including very nice slow-mo recorded sessions. Stay tuned for the next episode coming out!
May 28th 2022 - Day 15
Week 3 photos incoming in 1 hour to start off our week 3 portion of the diary & the new episode of days 7-14 of plant life care + NPK ratios explained & a look at the F.I.M Technique will be out by end of day!

May 28th 2022 - Day 15
Well folks here we are, Day 1 of week 3 and the ladies look great. They have mostly all recovered from the F.I.M very well to varying degrees of success some better than others but I am happy across the board with the results. However as my friend JaMAKECAN & I spoke about the proper growth rates must be achieved to make this possible for autoflowers in the small window you have to do it. But I would strongly encourage if you are following along with this guide and hitting the same growth rates, F.I.M once before day 14. Anytime between day 8-14 no later. Environmental changes are as follows :
VPD has been changed by dialing our temperature & humidity setpoints to -
Lights on :
Temp : 77
RH : 65%
VPD : 1.11
Lights off :
Temp : 75
RH : 60%
VPD : 1.19
Why these changes ? My thinking behind this is that now the plants have developed to a good size we want to encourage the roots to begin to feed more & rely less on humidity as we approach the beginnings of flower. By doing this safely utilizing VPD, We can ensure we are maximizing the growth by using common sense of what stage our plants are at & what we should then want them to be doing / focusing on.
Today will be day 6 with no water since our last feed of 500ML each. We have allowed them to dry out nicely and the ladies are ready for a good feed today. I will be using the pump and wand for the first time to demonstrate its usage of making your job easier once the amount of water needed becomes larger in volume. Stay tuned!
FEED : 5 gallons, 1 Litre per plant
Grow : 20ML
Micro : 20ML
Bloom : 20ML
Root Builder : 15 ML
Medione : 10 ML
PPM : 650
PH : 6.1
Temp : 68f
EPISODE 4 - NPK VALUES EXPLAINED, F.I.M TECHNIQUE & WEEK 2 OF PLANT LIFE CARE : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra0-uhxEnfM
May 29th 2022 - Day 16
At this point, The plant's have hit their point of critical mass in terms of their leaf surface area and are now growing extremely rapidly. Once the plants have hit a certain size and have reached the point that they have enough leaf surface area to support a high level of photosynthesis you will begin to notice your plants grow much more rapidly by this stage of development.
May 30th 2022 - Day 17
Business as usual today. Ladies doing great getting big. So far our cycle has been feed, feed so when they dry out next will be a water, Going to be looking to defoliate by the end of this week before the likely kick into flower by week 4.
May 31st 2022 - Day 18
So today we did some diagnostic troubleshooting on the less than optimal looking Northern Lights, Lets touch on that before the episode comes out with all the recorded footage. Rest of the plants looking great & lining up for the next watering either tomorrow or day after. Now lets get back to the Northern Lights.
Symptoms : We where seeing the plant's leaf showing signs of die off & what looked like lock-out happening, This was further confirmed by the bag still retaining all the moisture nearly from its last feed while all other plants are ready by tomorrow or next day for their next watering.
Conclusion : Something was causing this plant to shut down intake, This lead to me diagnosing it the following ways. I tested the PAR hitting the tops of the plant to see if it was getting too much light, Even though it was not tacoing I wanted to rule this out, It was receiving average levels of PAR, Ticked that one off the box. Tested the plant top temps with my fluke 64 MAX, They checked out as well & ticked that one off. Then it was root-zone diagnostic time so we did a flush with PH 6.1 water & collected run off. PPM was 550 which was great, BUT the PH Was 4.5, BOOM. There was the problem. Now what could have caused this ?
If we are talking about condensation and that dripping into the bag, It should have by all accounts caused a PH spike. But it did not, It was incredibly low PH instead, Very acidic. It took me awhile to figure out what could have caused this but my resting hypothesis is that it is from the WALLAMMO, The soil that went into that 3 gallon must have been hot with Wallammo, As it says on the package it balances the PH of the soil. It is my only conclusion I can come to on what would have caused this.
Solution : I had a couple options to me but taking into account the type of plants we are growing ( Autoflowers ) & where we are at in stage of growth, Nearing end of week 3. We have to take those factors into consideration. The obvious answer was flush it like crazy. The only problem with that is I feel it would really stunt and effect the plant being it is approaching flower, This would likely take a good week or 2 to dry out fully and then begin recovery which if it was indeed the Wallammo in that specific bag, It might not be enough to solve the problem. The next solution was to flush it & transplant it into a fresh bag, With fresh soil. Given the circumstances and potential cause of the problem this seemed the only solution. The plant was moved into a fresh bag with fresh soil & given a small dose of rapid start & B-Vital to hopefully, Guide it through to recovery. All of this was documented and will be included in the next episode. @love_2_grow Thank you so much for inspiring the idea to include this as part of the series. I really felt it was a great opportunity to show how to diagnose your plants & come to a solution, Make the choice & do it. Whether it works or not, We will see but in the end we are chalking up experience every time we must deal with adversity in our rooms, DO NOT shy away from the experience. Embrace it & learn from it.
June 1st 2022 - Day 19
Today was Defoliation day. After 3 hours the plants sprung back amazingly, Keeping them healthy with B-Vital prepared for any stresses has helped their recovery be fast. The risky transplant on the sick Northern Lights to get it out of the hot spot WALLAMMO bag, Has paid off. It is no longer drooped and is almost impossible to pick out as the affected plant. I believe if we can compensate for the terrible affect the WALLAMMO is having on our PH & watering cycle's we will still get a good product in the end.
June 2nd 2022 - Day 20
Today we gave them a big hybrid flush, Our cycle thus far has been feed, feed. But due to the water retention of the WALLAMMO we have only had the chance to give them a 500ml feed & a 1L feed, They have not had much. This is coming up to end of week 3 they are sure to be flowering soon. So I decided that I would do a water, But add in some elements to help the root structures grow, The plants where given :
1L water each
7ml Rapid Start ( Per 4 gallons)
20ML Root Builder ( Per 4 gallons)
The PH I left at 7 to help compensate for the WALLAMMO in the soil. Hopefully this will help us recover some size & growth before they kick over into flower.
June 3rd 2022 - Day 21
Today is the last day of week 3 & the CHEESE XXL is now displaying staggered node development signaling that it is ready to flower, It has also sprung its first tiny little white hairs so it is on its way into its flower cycle. No other strains in the room yet are displaying this, Just the CHEESE XXL, Plants are looking great from the defoliation & recovering from the hybrid water feed given to them. The compensated PH seems to have really helped them out so hopefully we can still guide them to a good finish having caught this issue. Next update will be on week 4 you guys, See you tomorrow. Stay tuned for EPISODE 5.
EPISODE 5 - DEFOLIATION, LIGHTING & WEEK 3 PLANT LIFE CARE : https://youtu.be/23tTY4DSVkE
SUBSCRIBE : https://www.youtube.com/c/legacymarketfarm
June 4th 2022 - Day 22
So we have started week 4, The Cheese XXL is still the only one that has shown any hairs & staggered node development. I am fairly confident we have fixed the intake issue from the WALLAMMO causing the PH drop, With compensated feed PH. They have taken their last 1L root inoculant focused feed and almost dried the bags out already so I think we are out of the woods with that problem hopefully it has not caused too much a lasting impact on the plants ability to produce. Their next feed will be a jump up in PPM & going to go to 1.5L per plant, Stay tuned everybody I am editing episode 5 together for end of day which covers Defoliation, Plant Diagnostics & troubleshooting & lighting as well as week 3 of plant life care.
June 5th 2022 - Day 23
Today I change the light cycle down to 18/6 from 20/4. I realize autoflowers do not need a change in light cycle, But I feel with this rare instance of so much PAR in this tent we are seeing light saturation in effect. I believe with such a high DLI we need more rest for these plants to properly utilize that energy they are storing up during lights on. I feel when you have so much PAR in the tent or room, The balance must be found when dealing with autos & the rare extremely high DLI's they present us with in the right circumstances. Lets see if they begin to grow more vigorously.
June 6th 2022 - Day 24
Today is a feed day! Jump up in PPM to around 900 & we will also be introducing Terpinator into the feed. I am going to give them a quarter gallon each and hopefully now their water intake will increase. Rest of photos coming 3hrs after feed!
FEED RECIPE :
PER 5 GALLONS
GROW - 15ML
MICRO - 15ML
BLOOM - 25ML
TERPINATOR - 25ML
ROOT BUILDER - 20ML
MEDIONE - 10ML
B-Vital 1.25TSP

June 7th 2022 - Day 25
Plants are looking great, The sick Northern Lights has bounced back amazingly I think we chose the right option of how to handle it and fix it so that is a bonus when you can recover a plant that well. I also think the 18/6 cycle has greatly benefitted the plants I believe with 20/4 when using such high levels of light intensity was causing light saturation and not allowing the plants enough down-time to really utilize all the energy they where storing from photosynthesis. I would say around a quarter of the plants are showing signs of flowering. The Cheese XXL are well into their first week of flower leading the pack. Next week we switch to flower VPD. Today I lowered the lights down about a foot, Giving the plants PAR between 800-920.
June 8th 2022 - Day 26
The swap to 18/6 has for sure encouraged more growth. They seem to be eating up all the PAR I have thrown at them & once they finish their vertical growth we will be lowering the lights down more. Tomorrow now that all the plants have entered flower, The VPD will be swapped to a transitional VPD of 80F @ 60% RH
June 9th - Day 27
Today was a feed day already which is a great sign. They consumed that 5 gallons within 3 days time, So today was another feed pretty much the same but with slight tweaks. The plants are deffinately in their early flower stretch right now & filling out nicely. The formation on these plants is so uniform it is beautiful how they responded to the early F.I.M
FEED RECIPE :
PER 5 GALLONS
GROW - 25ML
MICRO - 25ML
BLOOM - 35ML
TERPINATOR - 35ML
ROOT BUILDER - 20ML
MEDIONE - 10ML
B-Vital 1.25TSP
PPM - 1070 (It came out somewhat hot around 1300-1400, So I dumped a quarter of it out & cut it down with more water to achieve desired PPM )
PH - 7 ( COMPENSATED FOR WALLAMMO FOR 6.1 IN THE SOIL )
TEMP - 68F
0.25 GALLON PER PLANT
June 10th 2022 - Day 28
Last day of week 4 plants are doing absolutely great. I am confident that through the early flower stretch they will most likely double in height by week 3 of flower. The Northern Lights that we had to transplant to save is thriving as well. I would also say that the Northern Lights is the most consistently vigorous strain out of them all. Stay tuned for tomorrow the official first photo's of week 5 & week 1 of flower!

June 11th 2022 - Day 29
Well we have officially started week 1 of flower, The cheese XXL is basically starting week 2. The plants are really starting to impress me for bulk autoflowers. The 2 floaters that refused to sink are definitely showing some genetic anomalies, Only producing 1 side branch right beside the main apex cola. Very strange & both of them are exactly the same. The Northern Lights is going to end up being the biggest plants in the room & so far I would say the best in the room as well. They are bred with a sativa ruderelis which apparently makes them larger than normal for autoflowers. They are the slowest out of the strains now entering into flower. The wedding cheesecake is catching up as all the plants are now going through their " early flower stretch " until around the end of week 3 of flower. I am starting to get real excited to see what these plants can do! The 2 cheese XXL are already dry from their .35 gallons each 2 days ago & still not near peak consumption so they should be on track for 2 ounces a plant already which id be very happy with as an average across 15 plants.
June 12th 2022 - Day 30
Today the plants are looking great. The Cheese XXL has for sure pretty much capped out for its vertical growth. The Northern Lights Auto's hardly have any hairs & have not even begun to stagger their nodes yet. I am beginning to contemplate dropping the light cycle down next week if by the end of this week they have not shown a more aggressive progression to flower. I think in my opinion, They are much closer to being right on the line of photoperiod/autflower than the Cheese XXL & Wedding Cheesecake or some of the Skunk pheno's. Since they have recovered & regrown so much from the last defoliation, I am going to go ahead & do their " week 1 flower " SCHWAZZE tomorrow. Stay tuned you guys this one could really surprise us in the end!
June 13th 2022 - Day 31
Today was a busy day. I figured I would be defoliating today for sure, But the plants where also all dried out ! So they got their water cycle of B-Vital / Root builder & PH'ed water. This was given to them immediately after their defoliation. I have decided to give them until the end of the week then drop the light cycle down more to 16/8. After defoliation I noticed a lot of these plants have not yet begun to stagger nodes or even begin their early flower stretch. I don't want them to end up completely overtaking the tent so I will be reducing the light cycle more to try and force them to flower more actively.
WATER DAY
PER 6 GALLONS
ROOT BUILDER - 25ML
BVITAL - 1.25TSP
PH - 5.9
TEMP - 68F
0.25-0.35 GALLONS EACH
June 14th 2022 - Day 32
Today is the first day after week 1 flower SCHWAZZE, Backed up with their water cycle in the feed routine. The water had in it, Root builder & B-vital. As you can see they have not only sprung back but grown in the areas we wanted them to grow. This is all about the timing of the defoliation & feeding them directly afterward with something in the feed to help them recover from stress. Also knowing the difference between a leaf that is only a fan leaf & a leaf that is a " feeder " leaf. Since through math we know that this tent at most could not do over 2.5LB I have removed the third spectrum king to make room to re-hang my oscillating fan. I hung it with some light pulleys & got the idea from my buddy 1Right_Angle with his hanging heater! Now the fan is on setting 1 keeping our plant top temps at 77-79 max (photo was taken with tent open so it was slightly lower)
June 15th 2022 - Day 33
The A/C window-banger got put in today the lower viewing window to better control the plant top temps. Some of the plants are getting a bit more direct air flow than I would want them to but some sacrafices must be made for the great good! The wedding cheesecake has grown quite a bit vertically now we are just waiting for the northern lights and the rest of the skunk to do their early flower stretch before the net goes down! Today was a FEED DAY & the recipe was as follows :
PER 6 GALLONS
GROW - 20ML
MICRO - 25ML
BLOOM - 35ML
MEDIONE - 10ML
ROOT BUILDER - 25ML
TERPINATOR - 35ML
B-VITAL - 1.5TSP
PPM - 1450 (KNOCKED DOWN TO 1250)

June 16th 2022 - Day 34
For sure will be swapping down to 16/8 at the end of this week to try and encourage more aggressive flowering from the Northern Lights & most Skunks. I feel these pheno's do not have a high percentage of ruderelis in their genes and still have yet to do their stretch in early flower. I want to get them flowering ASAP before they end up over-growing the tent. So week 2 of flower will start with 16/8. If that does not work, Week 3 will be 14/10. The plants are looking outstanding & the Cheese XXL & Wedding Cheesecake are going right along schedule with their autoflower genetics. The Northern Lights specifically, Are just getting bigger & bigger.
June 17th 2022 - Day 35
The timer has been set to give them an extra 2 hours of down time so now we are at 16/8. First observation of these OAseeds.com bulk autos is that they are for sure inconsistent with their genetic percentage of autoflower genes / photoperiod genes. Not to say these plants aren't healthy vigorous plants but I don't think these would be IDEAL for someone strictly looking for autoflowers & the unique growth properties they offer. I am hoping knocking back the light cycle 2 more hours will kick it in enough but if not by end of week 2, Week 3 will for sure start at 14/10. Tomorrow is going to be a feed day to start off week 2 of flower & they are going to be more than ready for another heavy defoliation week 3 flower.

June 18th 2022 - Day 36
Today the plants got a nice big juicy feed. Only minor jump in PPM though which is fine for their current state. I shimmied the plants around trying to get them all into better positions. I am just waiting to see if the NL & some of the skunks stretch more before I decide to place the net down or not. Last night was their first wake up from 16/8 so lets see if over this next week they begin to flower more actively from the light cycle change. Did a re-arrange of the plants to put all the taller plants on one side & then smaller on the right side.

June 19th 2022 - Day 37
Now we are seeing that early flower stretch and some early bud site formation beginning on the rest of the skunks and also the northern lights now. They are growing into some very nice looking plants & their water consumption is beginning to peak my interest for sure. They are going to be more than ready for their week 3 flower SCHWAZZE when that time comes. But for now I feel re-arranging them has really helped to even out the canopy and get equal par on all the plants. Tomorrow is EPISODE 7's release by end of day so stay tuned you guys!
June 20th 2022 - Day 38
Whether it was timing, Or the swap to 16/8 I am now seeing the early flower stretch I was wanting to see from the plants. They are all now staggering nodes & fully entering flowering now for the ones that where lagging behind. Since the timing is still in the early stages of flower, Right now I am still wanting the bags to dry out fully before watering again. Tomorrow should be their next feed / water in the cycle. Stay tuned!
June 21st 2022 - Day 39
Today the majority of the plants got their WATER for their cycle of FEED / FEED / WATER. Only additive is the usual root builder & B-Vital. The Cheese XXL are beasting for more nutrients so I mixed a seperate 1800 PPM feed just for them introducing massive into the mix & upping the BLOOM ML per gallon ratio & split the custom half gallon feed between the two.
June 22nd 2022 - Day 40
More of the same today, Surprisingly the plants are nearly all dry by today and they got a hefty dose of water yesterday. They will for sure be ready for a top up every 24hrs once we pass week 3 of flower. I am really hoping for a decent yield outta this tent for my first go at a tent grow & autoflowers. With that said, There is TONS of room for improvement on the next round & we will also be introducing more of our nutrient recipe as we prepare to go into photoperiods after the next autoflower series & then introduce the final element of our feed program. Every plant has entered the early flower stretch phase & is staggering nodes and producing bud sites. Good times all around :) It is kind of crazy to think that these Cheese XXL's are the heaviest feeders I have ever seen regardless of them being autoflowers or not. I would be really surprised to see someone do a tent of these in 5 gallon bags, In optimal conditions F.I.M once & then bend those new 4 apex locations down to spread the plants out more and let them go to town.
June 23rd 2022 - Day 41
Plants already dry AGAIN, lol. Great sign, Gave them a feed today. Other than that business as usual here :)

June 24th 2022 - Day 42
Today I used the DLI calculator to see what exactly is going on in the room & I am getting currently a DLI of : 56.2 mol/m²d, This number is VERY high especially without C02, Again this is AFTER I dialed my light cycle duration down as well. I think it will be VERY interesting with the next crop introducing C02 and doing Autoflowers one more time, I am very intrigued to see what we can accomplish with the potential to achieve such high consistent DLI's. I am considering raising the lights up a bit to try and big the current DLI down to a even 50. We are on the last day of week 2 flower now, Tomorrow is the start of week 3. Generally it would be the time to do the week 3 SCHWAZZE. But since some of the plants are technically right now at the end of week 2, While others are only at the start of week 2, I am going to wait until the end of week 3 to do the final week 3 SCHWAZZE. This will allow all plants to fully enter into their 3rd week. Photos will be up once the room wakes up!

June 25th 2022 - Day 43
Start of week 3 for some, I would say the others are mid way through week 2 still. So for our week 3 SCHWAZZE, We are going to wait until nearly the end of week 3 to make sure all of the plants have entered into the week fully. Today they where given a nice WATER in their feed / feed / water cycle. Getting them ready for their next FEED to introduce MASSIVE BLOOM into the mix. So this week will be changes in VPD, PPM & Week 3 SCHWAZZE. The final defoliation we preform on our plants. I am considering pulling the 2 mutants as by this stage it is very clear they will not produce any bud. I am going to make the choice one way or another by the week 3 SCHWAZZE date. If I do pull them out, It will make more room for the other plants to spread out and yield more.

June 26th 2022 - Day 44
Today I moved the plants around after yanking out the 2 mutants & decided to take some single shots of some of the plants to really show how wonderful these things are growing & about to fill out. I see good things on the horizon. End of this week, We drop to 14/10.
June 27th 2022 - Day 45
Plants looking great, The added room for the Cheese XXL & other plants should really help them reach closer to their potential. Tomorrow should be lining up to be their next feed & introduction of MASSIVE BLOOM into the recipe. I think Wednesday we SCHWAZZE.
June 28th 2022 - Day 46
Today the plants are almost dry enough, Well they would normally be dry enough for their feed today. But given this is the last week we want the roots really stretching out looking for moisture I am going to let them dry out until tomorrow & water them AFTER the SCHWAZZE for the timing benefit it will provide. To let everybody know I am unable to respond to messages or make comments on grow diaries right now as it says I have a 7hr ban but it has been going on for 2 days now. I AM STILL doing this diary & STILL DOING the tutorials. Those will not be interrupted by whatever is going on.
June 29th 2022 - Day 47
Big day for the plants today it was their week 3 FLOWER SCHWAZZE. This was backed up with a big feed introducing MASSIVE BLOOM into the mix.

June 30th 2022 - Day 48
Today is the first day after their week 3 flower SCHWAZZE. When the lights came on this afternoon the smell was incredibly strong. This is going to be some interesting weed to smoke that is for certain. The plants have taken to their SCHWAZZE & feed directly afterward, Very well. I cannot wait to see what these plants can do now that we are full swing into pumping out chunkers. For bulk autos, Let's see whats possible! Ending this diary & Series with lab results will be awesome.
July 1st 2022 - Day 49
PLANTS LOOKING AMAZING ! Very happy for the end of week 3 & where we stand right now. This next week we will be reducing RH slightly & feeding or watering, Every second day. Slight changes to the recipe will follow but nothing major. We are just helping these ladies ride it out until their big beautiful ripe plants. Lets hope for a good harvest !

July 2nd 2022 - Day 50
Today the plants got a nice big juicy feed. The tent is just WREEKING right now. I am getting excited to give these strains a try and even more excited to see what kind of results we can obtain from bulk autoflowers. I believe it will really illustrate just how much of an impact this methodology has on your end product. More photos coming after the plant's finish waking up. I still seem to be chat banned, So please. If anybody is needing assistance, subscribe to our youtube channel and message me there. I apologize to everyone for the inconvenience & I have not forgotten about each and every one of you. I am very sorry you are all being effected by this. Temperature & RH change tomorrow for day 51 to week 4 listed set-points. We drop to 14/10 tomorrow As well, Given an average of 975 PAR on the plants that will give us the following results :
The daily light integral (DLI) you provide is 47.9 mol/m²d whereas the ideal is 35 mol/m²d.
Light Intensity:
Your grow lights provide a suitable amount of PPFD You could still decrease light intensity at the canopy down to 600 µmol/m²s.
Light Duration:
Your lighting duration is appropriate for the current growth phase We recommend to keep your lights on for 11 Hours to counteract the non-ideal light intensity.

The Wedding Cheesecake is absolutely phenomenal the size of it, Node spacing, Its clock-work like transition through each phase of growth. Wonderful genetics, Spot-on work @fastbuds. All the other plants looking great too & putting off a very intense aroma. The skunk's have developed a very grape heavy skunk scent to them. I am looking forward to having each of these strains lab-tested after the dry & cure is finished. Episode 9 - Week 3 Flower SCHWAZZE will be out by end of day tomorrow! Stay tuned everybody. Today was their first day waking up from 14/10 & also their new VPD set-points are as follows :

July 4th 2022 - Day 52
Today is more of the same for the ladies. At this stage our job becomes maintaining environment & keeping the plants drinking at their optimal level. Generally at this stage we want to be feeding or watering every second day & no longer letting the planters or bags or beds dry right out. As we continue on our feed will slightly change but until flush time & when we want to begin doing environmental changes such as light deprivation, Colder feed temps & colder temps in general, Everything is going to pretty much be business as usual :) I am still undecided on the Trelis this round. These ladies are already starting to cake up right on time pretty much the same as any photoperiod I have grown, So it will be very interesting to finish these off and send them to canvaslabs for testing. I will say this for certain, Not bad at all for around 1$ per seed.
July 5th 2022 - Day 53
Wow the ladies are looking great, Even the strains in early flower are beginning to cake up already. I think doing the lab results at the end is going to be very interesting to see what someone can achieve from cheap bulk autos, If grown properly. Today should be a feed day for them I just put the tent to sleep now for their 10 hour rest cycle so when they wake up, It should be a good feed day I believe in their cycle, But like always we will check the diary to make sure!

Today plant's woke up for 15 minutes then we had a power outage for 2 hours & 30 minutes. So today was essentially a 12/12 day for them. Hopefully it has no major affect on the end result which is shouldn't. Other than that things are looking great & getting super stinky. The skunks are packing serious weight they are gonna be dense caked flower. I think we are gonna all be shocked at the result from these bulk autos.
July 7th 2022 - Day 55
Today they got a WATER in their FEED / FEED / WATER cycle. The cake is coming in on all the plants now that we have begun to widen the temperature gap, Notice no-matter what stage the plant in question is at, It is now developing cake. This all comes back to the methodology of timing your environmental stress triggers.
July 8th 2022 - Day 56
Last day of week 4! Same old same old, Just guiding the plants along at the moment keeping everything dialed in & making sure to water with a 2 day gap between on the third day, Instead of 3 day gap on the 4th day. Making sure these ladies have all they need to drink & keep swelling.

Start of week 5 of flower, Pretty much going to be business as usual maintaining the desired VPD for both day & night and making sure we are feeding the ladies enough to put out some good numbers. This stage of growth is all about keeping things dialed in & making sure you have no mistakes in your environmental management or feed routine that are going to stunt your plants & affect your end product. Took the plants out today @ lights on, Shuffled them around & took off any last lower growth not worth saving & any fan leafs that finished maturing since wee 3 SCHWAZZE.

July 12th 2022 - Day 60
Business as usual today. Water day postponed 1 extra day just to switch it up & provoke a bit of extra stress response from the plant now that we are in the final stretch. Any little things like this, Direct air-flow since we have been pampering our plants & treating them like spoiled super models, That now pays off by giving us more points of attack when talking about environmental stresses that are GOOD stresses on our plants that will draw out more of the characteristics we want to see.
July 13th 2022 - Day 61
Plant's are continuing to cake up & develop more swell. On target for around day 90-95 Harvest.

July 15th 2022 - Day 63
Last day of week 5 flower! I am feeling this will be a 8-10 week harvest on the majority of the plants. The Cheese XXL & a few of the skunks might come down sooner, But they still pushing & swellin. On chat ban AGAIN, For asking a diary owner if they would like some advice, Then sharing that advice @Growdiaries banned me for it.

July 16th 2022 - Day 64
The plants are caking up beautifully. The majority of the skunk & northern Lights are lagging behind for sure. I might consider going to 12/12 just to get these to finish within 10 week flower cycle because at this point I can see them taking that long at least. Today was a WATER DAY in their cycle.

PPM - N/A
PH - 5.9

July 17th 2022 - Day 65
Not much going on today. Pretty much committed to a 10 week flower cycle at this point. Might consider going to 12/12 after this week.
July 18th 2022 - Day 66
The swell continues. Tomorrow will be the FEED day. I feel 10 weeks for certain, Might consider 12/12 still by week 8 we will see how things are by then. Harvest date should be around the 13th of August.
July 19th 2022- Day 67
A good noticeable swell happened the last 24hrs and some confidence that their gonna be ready by week 10. They had a nice big 8 gallon FEED today in their cycle of FEED / FEED / WATER
July 20th 2022 - Day 68
Lots of swell starting now on the plants that where still just setting their flower sites. They are now transitioning to swelling out and maturing, The Cheese XXL has gotten insanely dense & VERY heavy over the last week which is great, Because without weight big buds do not mean much.
July 21st 2022 - Day 69
Even more swell happening, Looking at these skunk I cannot wait to smoke them & hope all the Northern Lights finish up just as nicely. The wedding Cheesecake continues to mature & the odor of it is amazing.
July 22nd 2022 - Day 70
Today was last day of week 6 of flower. Going into week 7 and hopefully the final 3 weeks of flower for these plants. We will be dropping to 12/12 starting tomorrow to finish up the last 3 weeks. Today was a FEED day in their cycle of FEED / FEED / WATER. Grabbed a digital hanging fish scale to record the chop down wet weight of the entire plant before going into the slow dry / cure then being trimmed to demonstrate the consistency of the amount lost from water weight.
EPISODE 12 - Week 6 Flower Plant Life Care - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDtm2Fj6Gec
July 23rd 2022 - Day 71
Today the light cycle was adjusted to 12/12 to finish these ladies off under over the next 3 to 4 weeks. Looking at the plants I can see starting flush at end of week 10 flower & pulling down half way through week 11 flower. We want everything to swell up just like the cheese & make sure it has finished packing on all of its weight. The Cheese XXL could easily be considered finished now for day 71. But due to not having enough power available right now to run a second air conditioner for the dry / cure tent, They will have to wait a bit longer.
July 24th 2022 - Day 72
Not much going on business as usual keeping everything dialed in and in focus. Have been feeling very under the weather lately so the next episode will be postponed until tomorrow at the latest. Sarah & I have produced the new song for the episode already so most of the hard work is done. This will be the first track in which the drum track was completely designed by Sarah Leckie this time. She has helped on quite a few others & EPISODE 4 track she did about 90% of the drum track on that one and some of the synths / instruments. I think you will all be surprised at how this one came out!
July 25th 2022 - Day 73
WATER DAY PER 8 GALLONS

The one Cheese XXL is ready and ripe. You will be hard pressed to find a single white hair on it and the stuff is just absurdly caked and stinky. It is beginning its flush while I figure out somewhere to slow dry it.
July 26th 2022 - Day 74
Keeping everything dialed in, Light deprivation is going to start at the beginning of week 8 by going down to 1 spectrum king. Will be alternating between the 2 each day.
July 27th 2022 - Day 75
Plants looking great, Letting them dry right out just to shake things up & use it as another point of minor stress on the plants breaking up the norm. Day 76 will be their next feed or water whichever comes next in their cycle. Week 8 will begin with light deprivation as we finish up week 7 strong heading into the final stretch will soon become about putting the finishing touches on this harvest.
July 28th 2022 - Day 76
Today was a FEED day in the cycle of FEED / FEED / WATER. The tapering down on the GROW is beginning & the last feed by end of week 8 will be purely micro / bloom / terp / massive.
July 29th 2022 - Day 77
The smell in the tent is getting stronger and stronger. It is dominated by the skunk's and the cheese right now. The Northern Lights is definitely softer on the nose which is something I have heard about that strain for along time before. None the less it is looking great & I am excited to eventually smoke it. The wedding Cheesecake has a strong nose but there is just not enough of it to take over the nose of the tent. It is a very tart kind of lemon infused cheesecake smell. Beautiful smell so far I cannot wait to see how it translates to the smoke. Last day of week 7 flower & now onto week 8 in which we will be starting to play with light deprivation to simulate cloud cover.
EPISODE 14 - Week 8 Flower Plant Life Care - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKUYa55SnJQ
July 30th 2022 - Day 78
Today is the start of week 8 flower. Light deprivation begins & the last few feeds are now being given without GROW in the mixture. By this time we are judging our last feed timing based off of the plants & it can change. But we want to give them a good push right up until the final point & not cut off nutrients too prematurely. We are swapping now to FEED / WATER / FEED to keep the concentration of nutrients in the soil & plant its self lower, So that we can use a quicker more aggressive flush when the timing lines up for it. Once the plants look like they are done & ripe, We want to begin the heavy flush for 5 days MINIMUM.
July 30th 2022 - Day 79
When I just start to think maybe the end is near, I see a huge new push of white hair & swell of the buds lol, I am starting to wonder if these things will ever stop growing. Tomorrow is going to be their WATER instead of today just to shake things up.
August 1st 2022 - Day 80
Today was a WATER day in their new cycle of FEED / WATER / FEED gave them a good 8 gallons of PH 5.9 water.
August 2nd 2022 - Day 81
Judging where everything is at today I can confirm 100% this will be 10 week flower then week 11 flush. The swap to 12/12 has really kicked the ripening into gear properly & the light deprivation I think has helped too. I think these are gonna push hard and get pretty crazy over the next 3 weeks.
August 3rd 2022 - Day 82
Took some photos this morning when the lights shut off. Can really see the cake pushing through on all the strains even the Northern Lights now finally.
August 4th 2022 - Day 83
Continuing with the ripening & swelling, Everything is leading toward a strong finish. Keeping the room dry & allowing these buds to go long-term & get dense without any issue, Is key with a harvest such as this.
August 5th 2022 - Day 84
End of week 8 of flower today. Going to be starting week 9 with a WATER in their new cycle of FEED / WATER / FEED as we approach flush time. Yield guesses are now being taken so submit yours in the comment section!

August 6th 2022 - Day 85
The end is in site we are down to the last 3 weeks. 1 more week of feed after this then its week 11 flush and pull. Everything is really starting to pack on weight & ripen up nicely now down the home stretch.
August 7th 2022 - Day 86
Each day that passes this late into flower the ripening & swelling is happening very quickly. I think they are going to be very nicely finished off by the end of week 11 being their flush week. I will be shocked if their still pushing more.
August 8th 2022 - Day 87
Loving the swell & cake coming into these ladies now. Stretching out the water & feed days to 3 days or more in-between to cause them some more minor stress to squeeze some extra cakage out of them.
WATER DAY PER 8 GALLONS
PPM : N/A PH : 5.9 TEMP : 68F
Today we chopped the old cheese down to get her out & at least get some bud off it. The coldest place in the house to slow dry it right now is going to be in my dads closet but unfortunately it is still around 70c so it is what it is. I will not be using it as part of the dry / cure tutorial for that reason but at least this way it does not go to waste. Its WET WEIGHT NUMBERS where as follows
Day 87 : Cheese XXL #1 WET WEIGHT 1.05LB = 16.8OZ WET
I am fairly happy with that number considering it was beginning to dry out quite a bit no longer intaking any water. I am going to guess it does anywhere from 1.7OZ - 2.5OZ depending on how much of the 80-90% moisture loss we experience. When we pull all the plants down we will be doing it on video recording each ones wet weight and hanging it so everybody can see & start cutting through all the people who inflate diaries here and on youtube.
August 9th 2022 - Day 88
Today looking at the crop I could see the plants coming down at end of WEEK 10 as the ripening is happening much quicker now. It is going to be a week by week thing now and the best timing possible between week 10-11 when they seem most fit for pull.
August 10th 2022 - Day 89
Today I began the flush hit them with 8 gallons PH 5.9 water @ 68F. The cake on these things is just unreal for bulk autoflowers. I cannot wait to see the lab results after the cure is finished.
August 11th 2022 - Day 90
We had a power outtage over the night which is the lights on cycle for the plant's it was out for a good 2 hours. Opened up the tent so the humidity did not build up other than that, Business as usual the flush continues tomorrow. The Northern Lights is now finally starting to stack some cake.
August 12th 2022 - Day 91
Plants are looking great today at the end of week 9. Flush has begun & week 10 will be the start of slightly colder temps & drier RH to finish off the crop. Going to be bringing in ice to put in the substrate for the back half of week 10 & half of week 11 until chop on the 22nd to 24th.

August 13th 2022 - Day 92
We are in strait flush now, Starting off week 10 with colder temps & drier RH starting tomorrow. Today was another flush day of pure PH'ed water 8 gallons in total. Half way through this week we will be adding ice to the substrate & watering with colder temps as close to in the 50's as possible. The ice on the top of the substrate will help us achieve anthocyanin production and draw out more medical value & bag appeal from our cultivars if they have the ability to produce them. Regardless it will shock the ladies & help squeeze out more potential cake & swell.
** ABOVE PHOTO OF SCALE **
This is the Cheese XXL that was cut down 5 days ago & hung in my dads closet, This closet is NOT a controlled environment and is at around 78F during the day, Swings down a bit colder to around 68-70F @ night. We have went from 16.8OZ to 5.7OZ in only 5 days. This represents much too rapid of a loss & the process happening much to quickly. This is why we want to control the dry nice and slow, 60F @ 60% humidity to allow the very critical processes that take place during this time, To happen properly uninterrupted. Once the dry is messed up and rushed it is very hard to hit the craft cannabis quality staple people will expect from a proper slow dry / cure. This plant is on track to hit high 3 ounces I would predict, The loss would also be less had this dry happened properly, Slowly & controlled. But this is a great example to show in this tutorial series before the rest of the crop comes down properly & dries in a controlled environment. We still are around half way there to the branches clean-snapping & the plant being ready for a dry trim.
August 14th 2022 - Day 93
Today the temp & RH are set to 67F @ 35% which is what it is now for both lights on & lights off. I am unable to get the tent any cooler with just 1 SK on. I am going to order dimmer switches from the manufacturer in the future for sure. The fade is beginning on the plants from our flush already due to swapping to FEED/WATER/FEED in preparation of the flush and the removal of GROW in the latter stage of flower.
August 15th 2022 - Day 94
Nothing doing today. The fade is continuing in the leafs as the flush clears out the plants & soil of any nutrients left behind. The Northern Lights & cheese XXL are rated at I believe 10-15% THC content, The wedding cheesecake & skunk are rated at 20+ % so it should be interesting to see if we can get close to those numbers.
August 16th 2022 - Day 95
Today the first CHEESE XXL was dry completely & ready for trim. After break-down & trim we got 94G of super dank, Dense flower that is now bagged up & curing for the next 2 weeks. This was a big plant, But there are bigger in the tent. This is going to be a big harvest & every step of the way will be photographed, Recorded and verified. Breeder lists max yield from this strain indoors @ 70G per plant, We almost did an ounce over that maximum, So I would say this strain responds well to the F.I.M
One important fact I will be highlighting during pull down & which you can all see in the videos. These 3 gallon bags, Are only half full. So that is 3.3 ounces dry in 1.5 gallons of soil mind you & this is not the biggest plant in the tent. Again this is all about highlighting how important it is to adhere to the fundamentals & base our methodology off of the plant's own genetic programing, Knowing how & when to step in and when to stand back, & knowing how and when to begin to manipulate the environment.
Plant's where given a 8 gallon flush of cold water, Over ICE covering the top of each plant's substrate. PH 5.9 TEMP : 59F
August 17th 2022 - Day 96
Not much going on today. I have noticed the nose of the tent get stronger down the final stretch now. I am feeling we will get 1 or 2 more flushes in before they come down in T-7 Days.
August 18th 2022 - Day 97
Holding out 1 more day until tomorrow until their last big WATER. We will be loading the bags heavy in preparation for going dark & then the pull down. We want the plants nice and full of moisture before we pull them down to help pro-long the slow dry process.

August 20th 2022 - Day 98
We are now 3 days away from pull down. Monday is the day. Today is the last day cycle of lights on for the plants then it is as dark & cold & dry as we can get it until the chop. Stay tuned everybody this is going to be an interesting one that is for certain!
