Northern_Ent June 24: supercropping to finish the manifold. Been a cool and wet June here.
I think Bubble OG has been tied for the best performing plant in the veg stage during this cool weather. Tied with Gorilla Glue x White Widow.

Northern_Ent July 1: fast growth of 12 inches in one week. 👍
July 6: full foliar including Extreme Blend and Epsom salts. Trying to keep it green without much yellow but it’s growing so fast it’s hard to keep up.

Northern_Ent July 8; the giant Bubble OG manifold plant wasn’t a fluke as these two Bubble OGs are both big plants.
July 10: grew almost 2 inches yesterday. And again overnight to July 11. Great weather this week and she is going to get big really fast.
July 13: still doing almost 2 inches per day.

Northern_Ent Definitely a big strain. All three of these plants are quite tall even though they have been manifolded. Over last 10 days or so it has averaged just under 2 inches per day which is pretty much as fast I’ve seen (18 inches in 11 days).

Northern_Ent July 23: both of these are big plants. These were started from seed as was the big manifold, and clones were taken from that oldest plant. All good strong growers.
July 26: switched to gypsum as a calcium source as Cal/Max has N that I don’t want at this stage. Dissolving 500 g in 1000 L to get 100 mg/L of calcium in solution.
July 28: last night of 12:12 light cycle.
Northern_Ent Aug 22: fuck, the dreaded re-veg is definitely happening to these plants, GGxWW, and Jackberry. These badly affected plants are in one section of grow area. A second group of photoperiods also seem to have re-vegged but to a lesser extent, and a third group are just flowering and not re-vegging at all (the biggest plants are fine).
I think I know what has happened here but it’s complicated and I need to consider it further before trying to explain it. It relates to light cycles this far north and the hours of darkness.

Northern_Ent Sep 6: like many other photoperiods this one was re-vegging with the recent warm weather and still long days. I cut off the growth tips trying to focus efforts on flowering.
Sep 7: hailstorm did minor damage to these plants.
Northern_Ent Sep 24: these plants re-vegged. It’s partially my fault using a far red light at dusk but I blame it on the beavers who cut the power to the farm 8 times this summer. Eight times they fell a tree onto the power line including three times in one week.
This happened twice at dusk and I couldn’t use the red light. With the natural light cycles, and two nights (3 days apart) where I couldn’t use the light, plus warm weather these plants started to re-veg cuz they thought summer was starting.
Lesson is the far red light works as claimed but have a battery backup so that the light can be run at dusk as intended. If that had been done, and the plants had not re-vegged but just continued to flower, then these buds would look a lot different. Know for next time.

Northern_Ent Oct 4: some nice compact buds but most of them re-vegged. Doesn’t really matter as it all goes for hash anyway but there are some goofy looking flowers.

Northern_Ent Oct 17: final round of 995 g wet for total of 1,745 g wet from two plants.
These plants started strong and produced really pretty purple flowers. Likes to stretch out and can get pretty tall but these were manifolded into 8 colas. The buds re-vegged after being force flowered in July likely due to the warm late summer weather and the still long daylight hours during flowering. One plant was mysteriously seeded which hurt flower and trichome production. No other plants around it were seeded so I don’t know what happened there but it was likely pollinated by one of my Gorilla Autos.

Northern_Ent Bubble OG is a cross of Bubble Gum, OG Kush, and Skunk #1 which makes for a strong and robust plant that can handle the climate here. The buds re-vegged after being force flowered in July rather than continuing to flower which slowed down harvest. It might be possible to grow this here without force flowering but I don’t think the buds would finish in time. Flowering always takes longer than advertised here. No problems with pests or bud rot. This is a really good strain that I’ll try again next year to see if I can do better.
@Jays_Not_Here_Man, my first time trying but both Hash Bud and Bubble OG manifolds are doing okay. Jackberry also seems surprisingly good with the cooler temperatures.
