This is the first time I try this. I will likely experiment quite a bit. Medium is wet and seed is ready for germination. Wish me luck.

We're off to a slow start, but we finally made it into some growth. I think I had the soil to vastly pressed down so the seed needed some extra effort to germinate. However, it's there now and I'm looking forward to the next couple days of growht.

Leaves are starting to form. I’m enjoying this even though it looks kind of slow compared to other growers. However, this is all natural lighting. I’m excited to start seeing new leaves popping up.

I'm getting a bit worried about this slow growth. When I see other diaries out here I seem to be very far behind. However, I don't have a tent or lights. Maybe those are required to have a faster grow? Could it be that autoflowers are slow growers?

Does anyone have an idea what could cause this slower growth? Could it be related to the fact that it is an autoflower?

Hey mate! Yeah, looks like it has to do with the "grow environment" with that i mean temperature, humidity and light and light. Your temp. seems to be pretty low, 25/26⁰C would be optimal. Optimal humidity for vegetative growth would be around 60% RH and last but not least, THE LIGHT, that plants need to be able to make the photosynthesis, that is the MAIN FACTOR. For an autoflower 18 hours of light would be optimal, if the plant has never direct 🌞 sunlight or artificial light (lamps) then it will not grow properly, so, yes, if you wanna grow indoor you will probably need a Light Source. Good luck 🍀

It's kind of picking up some speed. I'm giving it as much light as possible and I've been learning a lot for the next grow. This probably won't be a big harvest, but it's the learning that's important.

Cool that you are growing the exact same strain that I'm currently growing. I'm a few weeks ahead of you though :) Happy Growing, Buddy! 🌱🌱🌱

@dunneboom, First grow! Exciting!!! As for advice, I find it helpful to look at diaries growing the same strain as I am to better be able to gauge my progress. I also highly recommend https://www.growweedeasy.com as it has tons of useful information. You can also ask questions right here on Growdiaries if you have any specific problems.

@love_2_grow, If you'd happen to have any tips or advice... First timer over here!

I would say that is the lack of light that is the reason why your plant is small. Light is "the food your plants eat" so in a way you are starving the plant when it doesn't have enough light.

I wish you luck!! I do suggest making holes around the pot, so the roots may breath, and try to water less, so seedling may seek for water, and develop roots that way.

Looks like your medium is pretty wet. Make sure to dry it out before watering again m8. gl hf

Hi! It's 100% most definitely what the other fellas are saying about the light..! Autoflowers, I think, need a light! I wouldn't plant it without one until mid-July! D: Make sure it is in the most direct sunlight you can find, and when it stretches out a bit - as it will over the next few weeks - you will have probably plenty of internodal space and long stems to LST and HST (supercrop). No extra water or feed/nutrients will help as it doesn't need them since it isn't really sucking up food right now - the main food it needs is light..! ( o 8 o) MarsHydro have a sale on atm - I use their lights, they are great - you can get a TS-600 (100w) for about 100 monies - I also use a TS-1000 in addition for flowering. The autos love the TS-600 - they have done really well under it, and they love the TS-1000 even more. I hope that you see some good growth in the coming weeks! If you'd like to compare between lights/no lights - have a look at this: growdiaries.com/diaries/139953-grow-journal-by-teh-saccade You can see the one in the pot, that is under lights - it is ornamental. The others are in the sun only, which is not strong atm, and you can see the big difference in development! One bushy and short, the others leafy and stems. Same strains. I hope you decide to commit to saving up for a light, as it will really help you if you are growing regularly..! It's a necessity - don't worry about the tent, you can put it anywhere so long as you don't mind 20 hours of bright light every day (it's so niiiceee!!!) Fingers crossed for you, my dude! :D
