If you're worried about that leaf that's dying off, don't be. Your plant looks amazing - and strong! It's got good color and healthy growth! Good job!! Cheers!

What can I do to remedy this? Is it a calcium deficiency? I’ve been adding 5ml of cal/mag to a gallon of water, can I add more? Will the grow dots suddenly release lots of calcium? I’ve also top dressed with natures living soil flower power and worm castings.

I agree with @gottagrowsometime - I don't like the look of that either - but I don't think it's a fungus (which is, I think, where his mind is going)... I think it IS a calcium deficiency but you don't have any information on nutes that you're giving her other than telling us you've added some calmag .... calmag needs to be used judiciously - and only once a week... you'd have to wait until you have some new growth to see if the problem persists or if you've resolved it.... the damaged leaves will not get better - but if the calmag is working, they shouldn't get worse. I'm more concerned, I guess, with your PH. You SAY it's 6.8 but how do you measure it? Do you have a PH pen? Have you calibrated it lately? If you've got a grow shop somewhere close, it might be worth taking your own PH reading of plain water then take that same container of water into the grow shop and ask if they would measure the PH - just for comparison... The reason I ask this is that the PH SEEMS right and your plant shouldn't be having any trouble uptaking calcium (calcium won't be absorbed if the PH is below 6.2 or above 7.0). If you're only measuring with strips of paper or the drops and then comparing to a printed chart, those are wildly inaccurate... my advice would be to invest in a PH pen if you don't have one as it is a critical tool that will prevent a lot of problems in any grow... Good luck...

@GrowingGrannie,thanks for your kind words. It seems less is more after all. I finally learned that letting the girls dry out a little is a good thing.

@timber03, I have been looking at those grow dots I'm watching a couple other growers using them and have been doing really well, I'm going to have to give them a shot some day 😀

@timber03, it's the way the leaves at the top start to grow as single leaves in a bunch the pistils (hairs) will start showing up right in the middle of those little leaves forming pretty flowers I call HEDGEHOGS 🦔🦔🤣 and yes I would start the flower food half n half with the grow food they still need the higher nitrogen during the stretch (probably two weeks) then less grow more flower food for one week then just flower food after that... about four weeks later you'd slow or stop feeding all together indica would be almost done and sativas don't like a lot of food towards the end.... this is just a general feeding schedule plants are all different and ripen up at their own pace you need to watch them and make changes as you think they're ready and with experience you'll still mess up some times so don't get down when you make the mistakes I still make plenty after nearly 40 years growing these weeds 😆 🤣 good luck my friend

YAY 😁 hedgehogs 🦔🦔 looking good 👍 I'm thinking the answers you are getting on your question are on the right track. I think it looks like a calcium deficiency, plants use a lot of calcium during the beginning of flower. Do you use tap water?
timber03
timber03
@Cyrusdavirus,I do use tap water. I’ve been adding 5 ml of cal/mag per gallon and 1/2 tsp of recharge (microbes and molasses from the maker of the nutrient dots). This is only the third plant I’ve grown in earnest. I should have caught it earlier, now I’m playing catch up. I top dress with worm castings every other week and have added 3 heaping tsp. of natures living soil flower dressing. I have ordered the craft blend fertilizer from buildasoil but haven’t received it yet. I think I’m not fast enough on adding extra’s yet, probably should have started two weeks before I did. Thanks for your response.
