8/20 going to light feed then water and keep doing a 2 day rotation. I'm either over feeding or trying to fix something I dont need to. Cant get the ph up even tho I'm feeding 6.4 ph and watering 6.7ish

8/25 ppm of runoff was 1250 so I'm running some flora kleen thru both to try to get it in balance.

Grow Questions
Beans week 9 started grow question 2 years ago
Cant seem to get soil ph to go up. What is the cause and what am I doing wrong. Everything was great until flower so I'm guessing it's the bloom boosters. I've fed light and watered til at least 5% runoff the entire grow.

Hi there ! Everything seems to work fine and to be done right ! Except your PH that I would correct with ph up as you've always been on the "average" but I noticed that your solution is more acidic since when you've stoped using FloraNova Grow. The only thing that coul be corrected is your PH level with PH up or down as your parameters and setup looks both great : but RH is a bit low (37% is for mid flowering ) and you'r giving her too much water (1.25 a day , really ?) !! Hope it will helps you :facepunch:

Beans week 9

Yeah after every 2 feedings I use 6.5 ph water and make sure I have around 10% run off. I just ordered a tds meter tonight. The ph entries in my diary are the ph of my runoff each week. I feed at 6.2-6.3 and water at 6.5 so I dont know how its turning into 5.7 when it comes out.

@Caribbean, that makes sense but I see how it is complicated. I need to start learning the science behind all these things I do so I can truly understand what to do, when to do it and why it needs to be done. I might have to mess around and read a book. I swore I'd never do that ever.

@Beans,I can't real explain how Ph is working in coco but what I know is that when the plant is sucking nutrients from the coco she also contibuate to change the nutrients amount in coco so ph will go down. For exemple if she use a lot of NP but not so much K then the ph can go up ( Potassium do that ) the opposite (ph down) if the phosphorus amount is high. I tried to make it clear but it's a bit "messy":+1:

Hey beans, what’s the EC of the run off?

Can’t see you having any major issues she looks well healthy...

Have you poored plain water through to see if it leaches anything out?

@PharmaZ,I hadn't thought of that but they are up on thin metal plant stands inside the tray. Probably 2 inches off the tray with plenty of airflow underneath. I gave them 7.2 water tonight with no run off. .5 gal each. I thought that was a solid strategy for today at least. Maybe finish the week with that and go from there? It just doesnt make sense to me and its driving me crazy lol

@Beans, it could be that you have some algae growth under the pot. Could you try and lift the pot up very carefully sand suspend it with something that allows airflow underneath. Algae and bacteria can cause ph swings

@PharmaZ, the 1st grow they looked fine too. No symptoms of anything and my trays for run off barely fit under the pot. With the scrog it was a nightmare to get in there. I had to use a pipette that came with my nutes and suck the runoff out .5 tsp at a time. It took a couple hours to do them both. I have better access this time and use a turkey baster for the bulk of it.

I would make a solution of H2O2 and soak the bottom of the pot. Then raise it and scrub the bottom of the pot to remove dead roots. Feed with H2O2 no enzymes. Then next feed use enzymes ditch the h2o2:v::skin-tone-2:
