Dropped the seeds today. This grow will have two strains of two seeds each, both are from Kannabia. I actually met them in Spannabis and the guys were all amazing! 😍 Can't wait to see how this goes!

I usually drop the seeds into water for 1-2 days (in this case it was 2 days), just until the roots tap out, and then I transfer them to a moist cotton towel so the root can grow to about 1-2 cm. The roots of one of the seeds tapped out a little but I decided not to leave them in the water for another day so I transferred them into the towel, covered by a plate so they can germinate in the dark

The roots are definitely wanting to grow! Glad to see that both of the roots are looking healthy now. Will plant them tomorrow when they roots are a bit bigger though

What a great day to plant the seedlings! I planted them in the evening and watered them with 250ml of water with 'Piranha' from Advanced Nutrients (who I also met at Spannabis 😄), which is good for root growth in the first two weeks. I gave them 2ml/L (so 0.5ml), and I'm really looking forward to seeing the root development!

Yaay the first seedling popped out of the soil today, but I didn't take a picture... I'm gonna name her Clementine since these girls are lemon strains. No signs of the other girl yet

I watered Clementine with just about 500ml of water with 2ml/L of Piranha for the roots - will be giving both the girls this for the first two weeks

I noticed the temperature in the tent is really high, considering it's not that hot outside. It's been at 28 degrees today and I managed to cool it down to 27 by just leaving the tent door open for a bit, but still it's very unusual for the tent to be this hot when it's not summer yet...

Oh noo, I didn't check the girls yesterday because I wasn't home and one of them didn't survive :( completely my fault because I found the root in the soil and it was just tiny and dried up.. I dropped another seed so I can at least fill up the space, even if it will be a week or two younger than the other one Otherwise, I watered with 500ml of water and 2ml/L Piranha and started giving them BioGrow today (1ml/L)

The seed for girl B opened up today and the root is looking healthy! Transferred to a wet towel for the root to grow - will probably replant tomorrow if it's big enough. For Clementine, I will water her tomorrow just because the soil is still moist under. But I will start giving 1.5L starting tomorrow instead of 500ml I've been doing so far

I planted the second girl today into soil that I watered with 1.5L of water with 2ml/L of Piranha for the roots. I know she's gonna do great, the root was quite big and looking strong already! For Clementine, I watered her with 1.5L of water with 3ml of Piranha and 1.5ml of BioGrow

Day 8 | 29/04/2022:
Clementine is doing really well, already another pair of leaves is peaking out! Still no sign of the new seedling but I think it should come out of the soil tomorrow. Luckily the temperature of the tent has also decreased by 2 degrees, I guess because I gave the girls more water so that also increased the humidity and reduced the temperature so I'm happy 😁
Day 9 | 30/04/2022:
The second seedling finally came out of the soil today I will call her Valencia 😊 I gave her just around 200ml of water with a bit of Piranha so her roots can grow strong.
Also I'm really happy the temperature in the tent has been decreasing more, now it's at 25 which is much better - humidity is at 50% so I'm very happy that it's not terribly hot anymore.
Day 10 | 01/05/2022:
I watered Clementine today with the same nutrients as last time - 1.5L of water with 3ml of Piranha and actually increase BioGrow to 2ml (1.33ml/L). Not giving more water for Valencia, but she's looking really strong. The stem is a bit long considering how small the leaves are but it should be fine
Day 11 | 02/05/2022:
Both Clementine and Valencia made good progress since yesterday. I thought I would need to water Valencia but actually the soil is still moist. The humidity is really good in the tent (55%) so the soil is not getting dry so quickly
Day 12 | 03/05/2022:
Valencia is doing really well, I watered her today with 1.5L just to make sure the soil is not getting dry at the bottom if I water only 200ml. Gave her the same as all the other girls in the tent - 2ml/L of Piranha for roots and 1ml/L of BioGrow. The little leaves on Clementine are getting bigger and bigger as well - she will need training soon!

Valencia is growing but it feels slower than Clementine.. maybe I'm just imagining it.. 😅
I watered Clementine with 3ml of Piranha (which will be the last dose until flower) and 2ml of BioGrow (which I will increase for her from the next watering).

Day 17 | 08/05/2022:
Today I decided that Clementine is big enough to start training her - just some LST for now. I am using wires that are made for bonsai training so they are quite thick and shouldn't cut through the stems (like what happened with my old wires).
I also watered them both. Clementine got 3ml of BioGrow and no more Piranha - will just keep increasing the BioGrow bit by bit until flower. And for Valencia I gave her 1.5ml of BioGrow and 3ml of Piranha (for 1.5L of water). I think their watering schedules should be synced up now!
Day 18 | 09/05/2022:
Clementine looks like she needs some training because it seems the wire has slipped off a little bit, but unfortunately I didn't have time to do that today - will tighten up the training tomorrow!
Day 19 | 10/05/2022:
Did some LST training on Clementine today and exposed the canopy to the light. Jus tucked away the biggest fan leaves for now but I might need to cut one of them off soon. Valencia is also looking super healthy, the new leaves are growing really fast!

So nice to see that Valencia has some beautiful tiny leaves on the stem already! Although I did find some issue on some of the new grown leaves on Clementine, they are like white spots on top of the leaves... I'll probably post a question here tomorrow
I also watered them both with 1.5L of water and 3ml of BioGrow for Clementine and 1.5ml of BioGrow with 3ml of Piranha for Valencia

Tightened up the training on Clementine today and I couldn't find anything online about those white spots, so weird because she's the only one in the whole tent who has it and it's only on the new grown leaves... definitely gonna ask a grow question
Valencia is doing great, I think the speed of growth is finally picking up because she made some good progress since yesterday, but especially since the beginning of the week
One of the girls has some white spots on the leaves which I haven't seen before. It's only on the new grown leaves and only this girl is affected in the whole tent. Don't see any signs of bugs or anything like that
It is nothing, just a couple of "blemishes".
No need to do anything.
Just remember, no plant will ever have 100% perfect leaves, 100% of the time.
Your plant is absolutely fine.

Watered the girls today - for Clementine it was 3ml of BioGrow and for Valencia it was 2ml of BioGrow and no more Piranha - she is making really good progress each day now so I think I will also increase the BioGrow from the next watering (for both of them actually). And looks like Valencia will need training very soon, maybe even this week!
Day 24 | 15/05/2022:
Did some training on Clementine and cut off two fan leaves that were in the way. I love this part of the training when all the stems start to take their place! I will also start training Valencia, probably in two days just to make sure she get some training before I need to switch the tent to 12/12 lights for the other girls to flower!

I got back home really late today so I didn't have time to take pictures but I quickly watered all the girls because they were looking quite rough after not having water for 5 days 😅 I watered both with 4.5ml of BioGrow just before going to bed so they should recover overnight!
Day 33 | 24/05/2022:
Girls are looking better than yesterday and I removed a bunch of the dry and yellowing leaves at the bottom. I also tightened up the training - Clementine's canopy is looking very nice and Valencia has also grown so much since I started the training almost a week ago! I wanted to switch the tent to 12-12 for flower for the other girls in the tent but I decided to hold off for another week just to give Valencia a chance to grow just a bit more before the switch!
Day 34 | 25/05/2022:
The girls' leaves were looking a bit droopy today and they look like they need water but I only watered them the day before yesterday and the soil is not overly dry so I will give them until tomorrow
Valencia's training is going so well though, she's the best out of all the girls in terms of how even the canopy is turning out - she looks beautiful!

Omg all the girls in the tent looked so sad today 😭 All the leaves were super floppy and wilted, it was a very sad sight. I watered all of them with 1,5L of Water and around 5.5ml of BioGrow just to give them a nice boost before switching to flower at the end of next week!

Oh wow it's like day and night between how the girls look today and yesterday. All of the leaves are pointing straight up which is a great sign to see. All the leaves are looking quite healthy as well so I'm sure excited to switch them to flower in 5 days

Wow the girls are looking so thirsty again, so I decided not to wait another day and watered them today. This will also be the last Veg watering and I will significantly reduce the BioGrow from next watering and also start giving the girls BioBloom.

It's so crazy how different the girls look after being watered, it's making me think that maybe the water is not being retained for long in the pots... hmm something to think about.
I also just did some final training on Valencia's top just before I switch to flower lights in a few days to give more sunlight to the other stems. I must say the training on Valencia is very good, and actually I touched her training the least. To be fair Clementine is looking like a little bonsai tree as well so they are both quite nice!

There is definitely something wrong with the soil because once again the girls are looking droopy, will check it out and do some pH tests tomorrow before watering. But tomorrow will also be the last day of Veg and I will start with the Flower nutrients as well. I think the girls are both ready!
Day 41 | 01/06/2022:
Yaay finally today the girls are being switched into Flower! I switched the lights to 12/12 in the evening and watered them with flower nutrients. I gave the girls 3ml of BioGrow, and 1ml of BioBloom per 1L. I also measured the pH and it was just under 6 so watering issue seems to not be to do with pH... it might be the pots themselves. They have a lot of holes and because the soil dries out, the water sometimes goes through and into the saucer at the bottom (they get filled up quite frequently)..

Noticed the infamous "claw" on Clementine today :( I guess I've been giving too much nitrogen - will decrease it from next watering! But Valencia is looking great - all the bud sites are so beautiful

Then it definitely means I am feeding them too much nitrogen - I will decrease it from next watering. Today I finally got the answer that I needed - the reason why the girls are wilting after a few days seems to be because of the pots... one of the Columbian Jack girls is looking fine (she's in a clothpot), while the other 3 are not looking good... So it was because of the pots in the end, I think I'll need to look for new cloth pots in that case. Now I'm just curious about the yield comparison between all of them
Since the girls clearly needed it :D I watered them today. Gave them much less BioGrow (1ml/L), a bit more BioBloom (3ml/L), and TopMax (1ml/L)

It is awfully hot today, 30 degrees in the tent today And I have the lights off completely during the whole day it's crazy. The next few days will be even worse so might need to water the girls sooner next time. Poor girls were so thirsty today, the soil was completely dry. I watered them with 1.5L of cold water with 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, and 1.5ml of TopMax.

As much as the girls' buds are looking good, compared to the start of the week it looks like they haven't made much progress, only the leaves grow but the flowers' sizes are basically the same :( I think it's because of all the heat recently, the tent is 30 degrees again today so it might be because of that... I will look into an in-tent AC and see if it's worth it

Too hot today again 😭 The girls really needed that watering. But now I'm definitely gonna buy more cloth pots - just look at how much better the girl in the cloth pot looks before the watering compared to Clementine and Valencia. Same water volume, same exact nutrients, same environment. Yet all the girls in the tent except the one in the cloth pot are not doing as well
Anyway :D Gave them 6ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and increased 3ml of TopMax to get those buds going!

All of the girls look quick bushy along the stem which is making be hopeful about the bud sizes, but looking back at last week, they've made quite good progress! I wanted to water today but the temperature wasn't too bad (26 degrees) and the pots were still not light enough so I'll do it tomorrow
Also found some weird but cool looking discolouration on one of Valencia's leaves

So I watered the girls today but I did it in the morning when the lights were off and then was out all evening so I didn't actually get any pictures. Either way, this was their last watering with nutrients and I gave them a bit extra so it was 7ml of BioBloom, 7ml of TopMax and no more BioGrow. The next watering will be a flush and I'll have to take them down in exactly two weeks!

Some of the hairs are turning brown already, and I looked at the trichomes under a magnifying glass and they are still mostly clear, so looks like the harvest will be when they should be mostly cloudy

The buds are looking great! So happy they are fattening up. About 10 days left now but idk if they girls are ready... there are still loads of white hairs so I think they should dry up in the next week. Although it was very hot in the tent today - 34 degrees... 💀 so I hope this doesn't stunt their last stretch too much

I decided to water the girls one day early today because it's just been so hot the last 3 days and the tent has been between 31 and 34 degrees during lights on for the last few days as well... So I just gave them cold water and nothing else :)

Today was the big day! (for the girls and for myself) So the only thing I did was tidied up the foliage by removing all the fan leaves, cutting the girls at the base and handing them in the tent. I find that the remaining leaves really help keep the moisture at a higher level and they tend to smell less like hay. I will be leaving the girls to dry for about 10 days, and then I always put them into glass jars to cure! I really wish I could have kept these girls growing just for another week because most of their hairs are still white, but unfortunately i had no choice and this is still more than good enough. Let's hope the genetics make up for it in the smoke!
I was pleasantly surprised by this strain. In true sativa fashion, I would say this is more of a day strain. Really nice to vape and get a few light chores done around the house while listening to some music. And the trichomes speak for themselves! This strain doesn't punch you in the face with its strength but it definitely makes itself known 😻
At the beginning the girls were struggling a bit but in the end produced very nice results. The trichomes on them were insane! I didn't get to let them grow to their full potential because I had to harvest them earlier than I would have liked (the trichomes were still mostly cloudly) but I must admit they still pack a hefty punch. The dry weight came out higher than expected but that might be because I didn't trim them to save time during the move. Still, very happy with the results and they were very nice to grow

Third and 9 photo you can see that white stuff already. I think it's mold, white powdery mildew. Had once, threw out three infected plants at very late stage of flower. Never had it again. Check this grower.
I have HUGE respect for him, but he is fighting that stuff is almost constantly.
