Day 15 - Increased nutrients from 0.2ml/l to 0.25ml/l. I'm feeding every morning - 3 hours after the lights go on. Using a 1L bottle to make my nutes cocktail and emptying run off after 2 or 3 minutes. Day 18 - My runoff % seems a bit more than 20%, but the plant so far seems happy with the amount of water and nutes it's been getting. Day 20 - Humidity seems to stay around 68% (Maybe a bit too high? I'm not sure and will monitor closely. Update: I've popped the tent a tiny bit and Humidity has stabilized at 62%) My new drainage tray arrived today! (Day 20 pictures) Super excited for this, as I won't have to lift the bag after feeding, to remove run off anymore. This seems to also allow the Coco to expand more naturally in the bag now that it has a larger surface to sit on. My previous tray was exactly the same size as my grow bag leaving no room for expansion. With the addition of the new drainage tray the light to plant distance decreased from 66cm to 57cm. Day 21 - I think new growth is leaning towards the yellow side. I will be increasing nutrient density tomorrow from 0.25ml/l to 0.5ml/l for Week 4. Will monitor and update.

I've spotted some yellowing on new growth. I'm just in the end of Week 3 and am thinking it's caused by nutrient deficiencies? I've been sticking to 0.25ml/L and am planning to go to 1ml/L starting Week 4. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I've been getting mixed opinions on pruning at this stage. Should I remove the bottom most baby leaves of my plant? This is Day 21 of an Auto. Should I be removing the most bottom set of fan leaves? Should I wait? Should I leave em? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

At the moment your plant is doing fine. Personally I wouldn't remove anything yet as nothing is blocking light to other parts of the plant. In about a week to 2 weeks time when growth explodes is the time I would remove a few of the older leaves.

Day 22 - Today I've increased nutrient dosage from 0.25ml/L to 0.85ml/L for the base nutrients and from 0.25ml/L to 0.5ml/L for the CalMag. Day 23 - The plant seems to have responded well with the stronger nutrient dosage. Today I've increased to 1ml/L on all Advance Nutrients and 0.5ml/L on CalMag. LST - I added 4 stakes today to start the LST. This is my first time trying it and it looks like I've done an OK job. Time will tell how she responds to it. Hope for the best! I also installed a dehumidifier today as I was having to pop the tent to keep humidity under 70% - however with the smell starting to increase I'll have to keep the tent shut and lower the humidity with the dehumidifier. I turned on the Carbon Filter with extractor fan as the temperature was starting to run a bit high now that the tent is closed. With the combination of the filter and the dehumidifier conditions seems to have settled down perfectly. Day 24 - She responded well to the LST and bounced back incredibly already. I added some yellow stickeys in the tent just in case. Humidity now also seems under control sitting at 55%. Day 25 - Saw the slightest early signs of brown tips and yellow leaf edges. I've lowered my nutes back to 0.85ml/L to see how she responds. Also readjusted the LST today. Day 26 - Skipped the CalMag today as it's contents are 1.8-0-0. Thinking this might be the nitrogen overdose cause. Kept feeding Advanced Nutrients at 0.85ml/L. As for new growth she is booming, just hoping I can stop the nutrients burn. Day 27 - First signs of sex showing today. Added 0.25ml/L of CalMag today. Day 28 - Growth is looking good. Posted a question regarding slight yellowing on leaf tips. New growth looks healthy. Applied a 1ml/L CalMag foliar spray - following advice from grow question.

Most likely excess salt from the nutrients. Happens a lot. Sometimes can be mould but most the time its just salts

Are these yellow tips anything to worry about at this moment? I noticed slight Nutrient burn on day 25 and lowered nutrient concentration which seems to have stopped it on newer growth. Anything I might be missing?

hey there JiggleB, i gotta disagree with my growmie on this one, this is the start of a magnesium related issue. Two things are happening, it could be you're giving too much Mg and you're seeing lock out. or more likely the light schedule is too intense and the plant needs more Mg to regulate photosynthesis than it can absorb through it's roots. You would do well to shave off a few hours of light to treat the root cause. But if you dont want to do that another thing you can do is make a cal mag spray just use 1mL/L calmag , spray twice a week. Absorption by the leafs is 80% efficient compared to 20% efficient by the roots. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Day 29 - Increased Advanced Nutrients to 1ml/L and CalMag stays at 0.5ml/L. Applied CalMag foliar spray. Day 30 - Same as day 29. Day 31 - Removed ground stakes as one was hurting the main stem of the plant. Did LST with garden wire to the main branch. No CalMag today - just foliar spray. Removed 3 bottom most fan leaves that already had supporting branches. Day 32 - Added back 0.5ml/L CalMag to the nutrient mix this morning. Advanced Nutrients stay on 1ml/L. Doing leaf tucking daily. Day 33 - LST seems to have worked very nicely as the canopy has started to even out at the top. Doing leaf tucking daily. Day 34 - Tied down one of the side branches that was getting taller than the main canopy. Day 35 - The entire canopy is starting to get a bit more height now. Humidity has been a bit high in the tent, popping the door to help bring it down seems to work. Lowered watering amount to 600ml today to lower run down to 15%.

Day 36 - It's week 5 already! The canopy is really gaining height day by day. Tied some more side branches down and adjusted the tie down on the main branch. Day 37 - Trying to figure out the correct watering amount. 1.5L was too much today will lower tomorrow to 1.2L. Day 38 - Plant is looking good today. Adjusted the tie downs on some branches. Watered with 1.3L and run off was still around 350ml so lowering tomorrow to 1.2L. Day 39 - Watering with 1.2L today. There was still no run off, I'm putting this down to the increased fan speeds, longer open tent periods and the plant growing more vegetation. My 2L watering can should arrive today, so I will be able to mix nutrients in one reservoir and water more accurately. Removed 3 of the bottom most fan leaves which had a branch large enough to support itself. Day 40 - Watered with 1.5L today. Removed 1 fan leaf and tied down a side branch. Run off was around 100ml. I also set the fan speed back to 1, as I think 2 was too strong for the plant and dehydration levels of the soil. Day 41 - Watered with 1.6L today. Run off of 400ml (25%). Getting pretty bushy now almost stretching to all sides of the tent. Day 42 - Watered with 1.4L today. Run off was 150ml (10%). She's now 32cm tall with the light hanging 36cm above the highest tips. That brings us to the end of Week 6. It looks like we are a day or two away from starting to flower properly. Bring on Week 7!

Day 43 - Commence the flowering! Flower sights are becoming clear now, with lots of pistils appearing along the top of branches. Watered with 1.5L with a run off of 120ml(8%). Day 44 - Watered with 1.6L today. Run off of 200ml(12.5%). Day 45 - She's getting thirstier again. Watered with 1.6L with run off of only 65ml (4%). Can really see the height gain by the day... Hoping the tent will be tall enough. Day 46 - Watered with 1.8L today with run off of 100ml(5.5%). Had a few warmer days outside causing more water evaporation. Will move to 2L soon if run off stays low. Day 47 - Watered with 2L with run off of 260ml (13%). Flower sites really starting to stretch out now. Day 48 - Watered with 2L run off of 260ml(13%). Will continue to water with 2L and only note when changes are required. 2L seems to be the sweet spot for this week. Day 49 - That brings us to the end of Week 7 and the first week of flower. Bud sites are now really established - I'll be increasing nutrients to 1.5ml/L for Advanced Nutrients and 0.75ml/L on CalMag. Total growth of 12cm this week compared to the usual 7cm over the last couple of weeks. An extra 5cm of growth can be attributed to pre-flower stretching.

Hi all! I'm using Advanced Nutrients Perfect PH Trio - it's been working pretty great throughout Veg. Now that I'm entering flowering, has anyone got experience with having to either add Big Bud or some other bloom nutes? Or shall I adjust the Trio ratio to favour bloom? Thanks!

Day 50 - The entire tent is now filled up. Humidity is slightly higher than ideal but she looks happy. Moved the fan a bit higher to get more top canopy air circulation. Day 51 - Keep on growin' Day 52 - Pot was pretty light and dried out this morning after a couple of windy warm days in my area. Watered the usual 2L with run off of 170ml (9%). After gaining 3.5cm per day over the last 3 days, she was getting a bit too close to the light. - I moved the light up with 13cm today to be 30cm above the top most flower. Day 53 - Run off today was only 150ml(7.5%). I did some bottom defoliation removing small flower branches and leaves coming to the end of life. This cleared up some of the bottom for better watering access and definitely better airflow. Day 54 - Humidity in my area has dropped a bit leaving the room around 47% and inside the tent around 52%. Still a bit high but with her being so big in the 2x2 I pretty much have to keep the tent open at all times. Installed a second fan today to increase ventilation and try lower humidity. I've got one blowing over the top canopy and one circles around off the walls. Day 55 - Had both fans running overnight, seems to have gone ok. I have each fan pointed at a wall now this seems to make for the best all over ventilation without too much direct blow on the plant. Day 56 - That's the end of Week 7! The flower stretch this week has been pretty crazy. After raising the light she's exploded in height. Run off was 120ml (6%) today - this might be because of the double fans drying her out a bit more but also her size of course needing more water.

Day 57 - It's the start of Week 8! Did a bunch of leaf tucking today and continue to do so daily. I raised the light to 27cm today after the plant gaining 10cm last week. Day 58 - Smell is getting stronger in the mornings. Weather in my area has been horrible with humidity around 80% outdoors. Trying my best to keep it down inside the tent - seems to be around 60% constantly. Day 59 - Defoliated from the bottom today. Went around the plant and removed shoots that weren't getting lights and fan leaves blocking airflow. Run off was 4% yesterday, so I increase to 2.5L watering today. Run off was 450ml(18%) today. Day 60 - Watered the same as yesterday with the same runoff. Humidity was better this morning in the tent, maybe the defoliation helped a bit. The flower stretch is still ongoing, gaining 3cm in height over the last 2 days. Day 61 - Increased Advanced Nutrients to 1.5ml/L and CalMag to 0.8ml/L. Watered with 2.1L today with a 240ml Run off. She's getting close to the light again (17cm*) this morning. *I managed to raise the light once more to be 22cm above the top. If I have to move the light any higher I will have to adjust the Carbon Filter somehow. Day 62 - Upped nutrients again today. Watering with 2.1L seems to be on the spot. Light distance to main cola is 20cm and 32cm to the rest of the canopy. Day 63 - The end of the week 8! Watered the same as yesterday.

Day 64 - The start of Week 9! Flowers are getting nice and frosty now. Watering consistently with 2.1L with a 10% run off. Day 65 - Defoliated some of the larger fan leaves that was growing towards the inside of the plant to promote ventilation and light distribution. I saw a moth fly into my tent this morning but didn't see it come back out... After my coffee I sat down and inspected my plant. I found the moth stuck in one of the satellite branch flowers... Stuck in the sticky-icky-yicky of the a flower. I cut off that flower and disposed of the moth. Good to see she's getting sticky! Day 66 - Humidity is sitting in the low 50's around my area, this helps lower the tent humidity nicely. I gave more water today with a 20% run off. The flower stretch seems to have finished of the main cola. Some of the side branches are now nicely stretching to reach the main cola height. Day 67 - She's looking beautiful. Day 68 - Humidity in my area is up again putting the tent at 55% today. Everything seems to be going well. Day 69 - Wah wah wih wah! 69! She's looking good the colas are filling up nicely. You can barely see any stem in the main cola's top. Day 70 - The end of the week! Found 2 moths stuck to the yellow stickeys this morning. Plant looks good, watered with 2.1L with 11% run off.

Day 71 - Let the new week begin! Removed some fan leaves from the center of the plant today to create more air flow. Day 72 - Good run off today of 13%. Starting to notice the buds fattening up. CalMag decreased to 0.6ml/L. Day 73 - She looks really beautiful today. All the colas are starting to take shape. Day 74 - All the colas are taking shape now. Humidity in my area is high again putting the tent around 58%. Day 75 - Defoliated some of the inner fan leaves today, whilst doing so I touched some of the buds and they are smelling amazing! Fruity/Mimosa smell is already there and super sticky! Day 76 - She's taking up less water these days. My area humidity has gone up really high but still managing around 55% in the tent. I'll be monitoring her to see how she responds to the defoliation over the last couple of days. Day 77 - Getting really smelly now!🍊 That's the end of week 10! Pretty crazy to think! Day 78 - The exciting weeks begins! The smell is nice and fruity and more pistils are browning by the day. Also happy to report that no height was gained on the main colas in the last 10 days. This is a good thing, as my lights are as height as it gets for my tent. I've had to keep the tent pretty wrapped up lately to let the carbon filter do it's thing. The smell is amazing, but creeping down my stairwell if I don't keep an eye on it. 🍊🌲 Day 79 - She's taking up less water these days. Could be influenced by the high humidity in the area and defoliation. Everything looks good and some of the satellite buds are starting to really brown their hairs. Day 80 - Trichomes on some of the satellite buds are turning cloudy! The rest are all still very clear. We've made it into the 80's, not long now! 🌲 Day 81 - Rolling into the 80's! All seems good today. Day 82 - Water uptake is reducing. Pistils are turning brown on the lower ends on the colas now. Day 83 - Starting to see cloudy trichomes on some bud, but most are still clear. Looking really frosty. 🍊🌲 Day 84 - The end of the week! I'm thinking she'll be close to 100 days before the harvest. Everything went well this week - if only the humidity in my area would drop a bit that would help out. Onto the final weeks!

Day 85 - Lowered water to 2L today as she's taking up less and less water these days. Also slightly turned down the nutrients to prepare for the final weeks. Day 86 - There's finally a break in cloudy weather in my area helping the humidity down to the mid 50's in the tent. She's really smelly now 🍊🌲 I love it! Day 87 - Did I mention the smell already??🍊🌲 Day 88 - A bit warmer in my area, causing the tent temp to go up but also humidity sitting around 60% inside the tent. All colas are now pretty much filled out and just swelling in size. Day 89 - Everything looks great! Can't be too long now! Day 90 - She's taking her time to finish for sure. Most trichomes are still pretty clear with a large amount of white hairs still visible. Day 91 - The end of the week! White hair growth has slowed down considerably with the majority turning brown in colour. This is a good sign that we are nearing the final stages. 🍊🌲

Day 92 - I'm thinking this is my final week of full nutes before starting to turn it down. Trichomes still appear to be mostly clear. The smell is multiplying by the day - I've installed another carbon filter in my room to limit the smell. Day 93 - Are we there yet? Day 94 - The main cola's pistils are turning majority brown now. Still have majority white's around the bottom's of most colas. If all goes well we should still be on schedule for the last week of nutes this week. Day 95 - She's definitely starting to fade more by the day. Smells amazing and super sticky. Day 96 - The global heatwave is hitting us hard. It's pushed temperatures up towards 26.5C but helped bring humidity down considerably. The smell is almost out of control with the heat increase. My carbon filters are working overtime to manage the smell leaking from my popped open tent. 🍊🌲 Day 97 - I've started to only give her water today, no more nutrients. Amber trichomes are definitely more present in the main cola with the rest being mostly cloudy. Planning on 1 week of water only then make a decision regarding the chop. So close yet so far! Day 98 - Second day of only water. Humidity is sitting around 53% with 24C lately. That's the end of the week folks! 🍊🌲

Day 99 - It's the final week before the chop! Day 3 of giving her only water. Amber trichomes are plentiful around the tops of colas with more cloudy ones towards the lower halves of colas. Day 100 - I can't believe we made it here! My plan is to chop within the next few days. Day 101 - I think she still has a week to go. Over 70% pistils have browned now, but the trichomes are still majority to the clear side. Humidity in my area is pushing my tent to the limit so I've added an extra fan in the room. Day 102 - This was day 6 of only giving her water. Colas are nice are firm around the tops now. Day 103 - 1 week of only water now completed.

As it's my first grow I don't have anything to compare it to but I'd say it was a walk in the park. Keeping my conditions steady was more of a challenge than the actual grow. She really stretched during the first 4 weeks of flowering so be prepared for that. My tent is 4ft tall and thanks to some good working LST she just managed to keep far away from the light. Watering her everyday became part of my morning routine with a cup of coffee. I'm gonna miss those times - Onto the next grow!
