These plants are doing great! There were a few little issues w/ light being too close and too much nitro for Blue Gelato 41 less is always best with this one. Liberty Haze is a little bush only after about 3 and a half nweeks Also seems to not like the cold of about 55- 58 degree weather here in maine in early spring. She does spring back to life after she gets a good dose of sunlight. The others seemed to fair pretty well. Back under the lights for the remainder evening and they will be put back outside if weather permits. Over all a very healthy happy Group of plants. They are ready to be transplanted this coming week. All plants here will be in 45 gal pots. We are top feeding them with Athena nutrients and giving them lots of love. There are a few variables that we will start to eliminate, I suspect that the change in temp and the fact that we just watered them plays into the leaves of the Blue Gelato 41 started to droop as bit. Bubba Kush is stout and bushy showing her true indica. She needs space and sunlight asap. Phantom OG is growing a nice even canopy super green. Nothing but The change from direct LED lights to natural sunshine with the other changes did not help either. They came out of it later in the day very happy and soaking up the sunshine.

We are now entering week 6 and the girls are ripping out of the little pots they are in. Due to the forecast of showers and thunderstorms today and tomorrow We are hesitant to plant. I am going to saturate the soil today and see where we go from there. We have been in the upper 70's this week and sunny. The plants are soaking it up. I super cropped the Bubba kush and 1 of the Liberty haze. We are feeding them 3/4- 1 gallon of nutrients daily. We are going to saturate the soil with the same nutrient ratio at 5 gallon intervals. We will update pics asap.
Saturated the 45 gallon bags w/ nutrients and letting them settle for a couple days. The temps are going to be in the high 70's low 80's this week and the mycro will be colonizing nicely in the heat! We will have the girls transplanted by this weekend
we finally had a good stretch of weather and we planted the girls into their big 45 gal pots. 2 are in 25 gal pots and i ran out of soil so i cut a pot down and figure its about 10 gal. We inoculated them with Dynomyco and fed them 1gal of nutrients each after planting. So here we go and we will update every week.
I was wondering what the tolerance is on nitro levels in a compost tea? I found some pretty heavy stuff at work and was wondering if i could use it? its 16-0-0 any suggestions. It would be nice to be able to utilize this source of food. Thanks!
Dear friend, the higher the NPK doesn’t mean better and bigger plant. If you truly want to produce top quality organic cannabis stay around 10 and I would use that in the global super mix and btw that is for a powder supplement, if you’re referring to liquid that’s way too high in my opinion. It came to a surprise to me that Cannabis with so little fertilizer can produce wonders👍
The girls have made themselves at home in their new pots! The weather has been great and we see substantial growth even after a couple days of transplant. The super crop tech really boosted the growth of the plants we used the technique on. We will be super cropping all of them eventually, just at different stages of growth to fulfill our experiments and test.
we have had a great week here in Maine!!! a couple of severe thunderstorms with a considerable amount of rainfall. We had marble sized hail fall around our area and just missed us!!!! we have upped the nutrients this week. The girls look extremely eager for more nutrients so we will update you all on how the change has effected them.
This week the ladies took off and grew substantially!!!! The warm days and cool nights have been very beneficial!!! we started giving them all more nutrients and topped all but one. This week we are going to add a top feed guano at a very small amount. We will see what happens next week!!! We feel really confident on the jump we have on the very short growing season here in Maine! most other growers are just getting their clones and seedlings outside on the 1st of June. Hopefully we can have a super bountiful harvest this year!!!
Hey everyone!!!! I am wondering at what height we should start to trellis with nets? we have the plants on a deck and we want to use horizontal nets secured at the 4 corners. the plants are 3+ feet right now.
I would advise using the trellis net before the pre flowering stretch.
That way when the plant stretches you'll be able to make that growth horizontal.
I also think lollipopping the plants would be a nice thing to do as a next step after the trellis net. - This is pruning everything below a certain height of the plant to make overall bud quality increase in the upper canopy.

Great week of grow and the plants are really enjoying the rain days. We upped the nutrients to 12 ml per gal of both grow A and B also we sprinkled a little bird poop on the top of the soil and they took off!!!! Hopefully we get a stretch of good sunny days and they will really begin to rock out!!! we will keep you all posted on the next couple days of growth.
Good weed with good yields foremost , then something interesting or different is always cool like a bit of banter and good growing karma with actual growing tips based on results . Diary’s with cats and dogs just chilling around the plants always get me lol , unfortunately the Mrs won’t let me put up pics of our pets or pose for pics with our plants hahaha.
When I go to someone's diary I like to be entertained. Give me something other than some cannabis plants to look at. Entertain me and I'll be back to see more. Look over the diary of the month winners and see how they entertain people. Chuck.
