mutantfarmer The goal of the report is to elevate the legend of the Lowryder autoflowering plants and obtain pollen + seeds for the next generation to use in my future experiments. 🙌 Germination 10/05 The lovely Lowryders were photographed in various decent and indecent poses, undressed, placed in Root Riot cubes from Growth Technology, and sent to a warm dark shelf for germination. The sponges were additionally sprayed with a solution of Simplex Mass to achieve the necessary humidity level and stimulate the germination process. 🏎️ Lowryder - The first autoflowering strain with high THC content from The Joint Doctor - a pioneer of autoflowering genetics. A very early flowering plant, it produces abundant buds. The yield will impress with both quantity and quality, and the pungent smoke accompanies a euphoric effect. The buds are large, dense, and generously resinous. With a higher amount of resin, exotic flavor, and unique high effects, Lowryder owes its genetics to Santa Maria, a well-known Brazilian hybrid. When grown in fresh air, it shows its readiness to yield abundantly much earlier than others. Type: Regular autoflowering Genetics: Santa Maria X Lowryder THC: 10 - 15% CBD: Unknown. Flowering period: 56 - 63 days. Plant height: 30 - 70 cm. Yield: 150 - 200 g/m2 (Indoor), 30 - 80 g per plant (Outdoor).

mutantfarmer 👽Plant status. 14.05 The Lowriders have sprouted, all 5/5 have popped up from the soil, some just a little, some fully. That same day, I transplanted the plugs into final volume containers of ~1L, filled with coconut substrate mixed with perlite in a ratio of about 75%/25% and covered them with a propagator lid. The samples are numbered according to the order of sprouting. 🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻Training / Rearrangements 15.05 I moved the pots to the second floor of the box under more intense lighting, for the time being while the clones of Frika and Bastard from the parallel report are rooting in the lower compartment. 💧Watering The plants at this stage are without watering, the coconut is well-moistened. I think I'll give them a low concentration solution on Monday. ⚙️Parameters. Air temperature: 20.5-.24.2° Humidity: 38-50%

mutantfarmer 👽Plant Condition. All seedlings are free of mutations, defects, and failures, showing active healthy growth. I think they'll grow their roots a bit more, and the tops will transition into their transformation path to buds. 🏃‍♂️🏻Training / Rearrangement Despite being close to the light source on the second floor of the box, the seedlings still stretched out. I had to "pin" them to the substrate with plant ties. On 20.05, I moved them back to the first floor, set the light to ~80% power, and changed the light schedule from 24/0 to 20/4. On 22.05, I covered the seedlings with coconut. 💧Watering I watered the Lowryders during the week with a small amount of diluted vegetative solution from the reverse watering system B - 560 ppm, 5.9 pH. On 22.05, I mixed a separate solution for the Lowryders and CBD strains, which is stored in the tank from system M with the pump on for aeration. The solution composition: ForaFlex (V1+V2) + Simplex Barrel + pH Down 580 5.8. I also watered the LR with it until drainage. ⚙️Parameters. Air temperature: 21.3-.24.2° Humidity: 40-54%

mutantfarmer 👽Plant Condition. The plants are feeling great, there are no significant problems or defects, aside from slight signs of overwatering. To help the plants know their roots and lineage, I hung useful info on the walls with their characteristics and photos of the creator. 🏃‍♂️🏻Training / Rearrangements I started the reverse watering system for the first 2 days - every 2 hours for 3 minutes, with a break from 11 PM to 4 AM, everything was fine. On 27.05, I switched the mode to 24/0, a couple of plants showed slight signs of overwatering, but it's minor and at the time of writing this post, the problem is not progressing. 💧Watering On 25.05, I prepared a solution for the plants with FF (V1+V2) + Simplex Barrel 0.25ml/l + ph Down - 620, 5.8. Throughout the week, the readings varied between 600-640, 5.8-6.3. On 28.05, I conducted the first treatment with Simplex Vega on the leaves for preventive purposes. "Weekend Pheno Hunting": Inspections, notes, selections. Lowryder #1 The sample has a slight anomaly, on one of the leaves (2nd floor), instead of 3 fingers, there are 2. Large wide sprawling leaves, resembling turkey leaves. The distance between the nodes is average. Lowryder #2 Large wide sprawling leaves, resembling turkey leaves. The distance between the nodes is average. Lowryder #3 Large wide sprawling leaves, resembling turkey leaves. The distance between the nodes is short. Lowryder #4 Large sprawling leaves are more elongated than those of the other samples, also resembling turkey leaves. The distance between the nodes is short. Lowryder #5 Large sprawling leaves are slightly elongated, resembling turkey leaves. The distance between the nodes is short.

mutantfarmer 👽Plant Condition. The plants are feeling good, continuing their active healthy growth. The ones that showed slight overwatering quickly recovered and got used to the round-the-clock watering. By the end of the week, all showed clear sexual signs. 🏃‍♂️🏻Training / Rearranging I trimmed the lower 2 floors of all the boys and removed the large leaves to take up less space and slightly slow down their growth, as I don't need large male plants, just a bit of pollen. Within a day, all the plants quickly adapted and continued to grow. 💧Watering 31.05 New solution for veg FF (V1+V2) + Simplex Barrel + pH Down - 780, 6.0 - handled the dosage without any problems. 04.06 New solution for flowering FF(B1+B2) + Simplex Barrel + pH Down - 740, 6.0 - also responded well to the concentration. On 04.06, I performed a Simplex Vega foliar treatment as a preventive measure. Trimming and inspection. LR#5 - the only girl, medium height, developing the 6th floor, with medium-short internode spacing. LR1, LR2 - tall, actively growing, developing the 7th floor, with long internode spacing. LR3, LR4 - medium, growing slower, developing the 6th floor, with medium internode spacing. I trimmed the lower 2 floors of all the boys and removed the large leaves to take up less space and slightly slow down their growth, as I don't need large male plants, just a bit of pollen. Within a day, all the plants quickly adapted and continued to grow.

mutantfarmer 👽Plant condition. 07.07 The Lowriders (males) are showing some slight issues on the upper leaves; I suspect it's due to a lack of nutrients or a blockage from excess silica, as I overwatered a bit this time, around 0.3-0.33 ml/L instead of 0.2-0.25 (used a measuring cup instead of my usual syringe). Nutrient levels seem fine; they're eating and drinking as they should, so I added water with FF base, without silica. One of the boys has a ninth finger on the fan leaf growing from the wrong point, looks a bit unusual. On 13.06 my guess about the low concentration was confirmed. With the increase in dosage, the plants shot into hyperactive growth and are asking for more. The boys have a stretched (relative to the girl) distance between nodes and are blocking light from the beauty in the center. They've all grown well with bananas, and the lower fingers have started to open up. 🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻Training / Rearranging 10.06 I did some training on the girl LR#5, bending all the leaves and stretching the colas out to the sides with tomato ties. Over the week, I trimmed the large fan leaves from the boys to save space, and all processes went smoothly without any growth stalls. 💧Watering 08.06 I found aphids on the peppers, which had been sitting on the second floor of the tent with the lorikeets a few days prior. I did an LR treatment with Neem Oil. 07.06 640, 6.1, added solution with FF (B1+B2) - 725, 6.1 10.06 new solution for color FF (B1+B2) + Simplex Barrel + pH Down - 780, 6.2

mutantfarmer —🏎️ Lowryder🍀DB 🌿FS It's done, friends! A new round of pollination has been carried out, and the hybrids are as follows: Drunken Bastard F3 #16 x Lowryder IBL Boyzzz Freakshow #8 x Lowryder IBL Boyzzz Lowryder #5 x Lowryder IBL Boyzzz Process: 1. Turn off all exhaust fans in the boxes, the air conditioner, close the windows, basically reduce air movement by all means. 2. Put on gloves and pollination clothes, take a plastic container for collecting pollen and get started. 3. Collect pollen from the open anthers of all the boys, and put the anthers themselves in the container too. 4. Shake the container well to knock the pollen off the flowers, then remove the flowers. 5. Take a brush and dust the girls. 6. Hide the pollen in the container without plant material in the freezer for preservation, and toss the boys. 7. ???? I forgot that I collected flowers from FS#4, let's take them and pollinate FS#1 #3 that I mentioned today in the posts and another clone DB #16. 8. Do a wet clean-up, let the plants sit for a couple of hours, rinse them with a spray bottle, and return everything to its place. 9. Done, you are amazing if you didn't mess up(?). 👽 Plant Condition. At the beginning of the week, the plants were feeling great and were easily getting their nutrients. On 13.06, I carried out the pollination, which I'll write about separately, and removed the boys from the box. But then I, to put it mildly, messed up..... I blame two things: Reason #1 (the main one) On 14.06 by evening, the pH rose from 6.3 to 6.6. I was in a hurry to go out and poured a couple of ml of pH Down into the system without mixing it well (I usually mix it with a small amount of water and pour it in), this time I poured it directly into the system a couple of times shaking it and left. On 15.06 in the morning, I found signs of root system burn on the leaves. I lowered the nutrient concentration and reduced the light intensity, and to make sure the girl wasn't left feeling bad, I installed red boosters for color. I moved the plant to the S system. Reason #2 (a secondary issue) On 17.06, I noticed that there was a slight gypsum sediment in the S and M tanks. This means it fell out due to my sloppy mixing, which could have caused prolonged nutrient issues for the plants. Previously, I mixed each component separately in hot water, mixed it well, and added it to the tank with aeration, with silicon going first in order. Now I also mixed each component separately, but in room temperature water, and added silicon last. I reached out for help to the great meme shelter and technologist Rastea - Stanislav RasTeaMan. I received recommendations (for which I'm extremely grateful!) — FF may not be suitable for reversing, and silicon should be added gradually, after mixing, as it could precipitate. I returned to the previous mixing system with preliminary dilution of components in hot water, and the solution turned out clean without sediments, I will add silicon later, little by little. On 19.06, at this point, all blocks and issues have been resolved, the yellowing tops are regaining their green color, and the leaf problems are not progressing. I lean towards the idea that the first issue damaged the roots of my plant, and the second didn't allow it to recover quickly. Conclusion: The plant is recovering, blocks are removed, nutrient levels are normal and not fluctuating. The price of the mistake - minus 1 week of healthy growth and time for recovery. 🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻 Training / Rearranging I continue to bend the fan leaves for better light penetration to the buds. Since Lowryder was left alone, I moved it to the S watering system, with a volume of 10L, instead of M - 20, and added 30W red boosters from Siyanie for color, reducing the intensity of the main lamp's lighting. 💧 Watering On 17.06, a new solution for color Calmag 30 ppm + FF (B1+B2) + pH Down - 730, 6.2 Pollination

mutantfarmer 20/06-16/06 👽Plant condition. Forgive me, SashaJointDoctor, for everything done to your creation... This week I took the plant out of the pot to assess the extent of the problem. The situation looks, while not fatal, quite dire. The roots have a creamy tint and an unhealthy appearance, vaguely resembling root rot, however, there are no unpleasant smells or slime, and the plant itself is not wilting, just showing issues with nutrient uptake. I think all of this is a result of a ridiculous critical mistake - a burn from pH Down. The leaves are slow to return to green, showing deficiencies in nitrogen, phosphorus, and magnesium. Nutrient levels remain within normal ranges, with minor fluctuations in pH and ppm like healthy plants. The calyxes on the buds look healthy and colorful. 🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻Training / Rearrangements ----- 💧Watering 21.06 new CalMag solution - 50ppm + FF (B1+B2) - 750, 6.1 23.06 prepared a solution of water and FloraKleen from General Hydroponics, left the plant standing in the resulting liquid for about 10 hours, occasionally swirling and pouring out of the pot. After that, I returned the plant to watering in the system with nutrient solution for color. 25.06 I cleaned the system and prepared a new solution for color FF (B1+B2) + pH Down - 760, 6.2 Nutrient levels this week varied between 730-800ppm and 6.0-6.4 pH, without sharp jumps or changes.

mutantfarmer 27/06-03/07 👽Plant condition. The leaves were losing their green hue more and more, turning into a dull yellow color, with only the lower parts remaining green. After I followed the recommendation mentioned above from @SashaJointDoctor and reduced the nutrient concentration, the problem seems to have slowed down a bit, and the plants became easier to manage. Despite all the issues faced, LR#5 has an enormous will to live. It forms compact, dense buds that emit a citrus aroma with a slight hint of lemon and pineapple. By the way, you can see the future offspring in them. 🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻Training / Rearranging ----- 💧Watering In the first week, I kept the solution close to 750ppm, and each day I brought the increased reading back down by 20-50 points to this value. 30.06 After the recommendation to reduce the solution to 600ppm, as it was excessive for the pregnant plant, I added more water with balanced pH to the system and brought the readings up to 660, 6.3. 03.06 The readings reached 690 ppm 6.5, already without sharp jumps and increases in values. I prepared a new solution for the color FF (B1+B2) + pH Down - 620, 6.0.

mutantfarmer 04/07-10/07 👽Plant condition. The plant started dropping seeds, but in the main cola's buds, the future offspring hasn't ripened yet, so I decided to give it a bit more time and will chop next week. The buds in the main mass managed to keep their green color, and only part of the tops got some side effects from improper feeding. Other than that, there were no significant events this week, just waiting for the harvest. On 06.07, I noticed falling seeds on LR#5 during inspection, collected them, and sent them to dry. 🏃‍♂️🏻,🏃‍♂️🏻Training / Rearranging ----- 💧Watering I started the week with a FF solution (B1+B2) + pH Down - 620, 6.0, prepared on 03.07, the readings rose to 650ppm, after which I lowered the concentration back to 600ppm, with pH varying between 5.9-6.3.

mutantfarmer 🙌 HARVEST ✍️🏻General description: Sample #5 — Pollinated by Lowryder Boyzzz — 4 male plants for breeding within the strain and variety in phenotype selection. LR#5 Despite all the challenges faced, the plant showed resilience and a strong will to live. Burns and overfeeding, after pollination, resulted in a decline in the overall health of the plant and a smaller yield, due to the inability to fully express its potential. Which, judging by the wonderful aroma and ability to form heavy buds, Lowryder has plenty of. From start to finish, it meets the parameters and characteristics described by the seed bank Doctor's Choice. A compact plant with a short life cycle and an exotic bitter-sweet aroma. ⚙️Parameters: Vegetation — 22 days Flowering — 36 days From pollination to seeds — 25 days Height — 35cm Sex — female, no signs of hermaphroditism Pot volume — 1L throughout the entire cycle Watering — Reverse watering system Substrate — Coco + perlite. Nutrients — FloraFlex base + Simplex stimulants and additives. 👃🏻Aroma: At the time of harvest — sweet fruity aroma reminiscent of a tropical mix of mango-passionfruit or multi-fruit juice, with tart earthy notes. Structure: Skeleton — the plant is stocky, well-branched, with medium-short internodal spacing, growing massive branches with tightly packed buds. Leaves — large sprawling leaves, finger shape more resembling a hybrid with indica dominance, color is rich green, slightly dark. 🗓️Timeline: Planting — 11.05 Germination — 14.05 Sexing — 2.06 Flowering — 04.06 Pollination — 15.06 Harvest — 11.07 👽SEEDS HARVEST In 3 days, the buds dried to the point where it became comfortable enough to collect seeds from them. The seed selection and storage preparation technique, step by step: 1. Take the buds, at a comfortable state for harvesting. 2. Break apart the buds, extracting seeds from the cups. 3. Separate all the large plant material by hand. 4. Throw the product onto a sieve and sift to remove small green remnants. 5. Pour the seeds into a pile and start selecting the ripe seeds, of the correct shape and color, checking them by squeezing between fingers; ready, viable seeds withstand pressure, while empty and unripe ones burst. 6. Seeds that passed the first test are inspected again for leftover debris and sent to an airtight container (preferably opaque; in my case, all seed jars are stored in a common light-proof container) and kept in the fridge for 1.5-2 weeks for the next germination test. 🏎️ Seed germination testing 03.08 The seeds have been in the fridge for just over two weeks; I think it's time to conduct the germination test. On the evening of 02.08, I soaked the seeds in tap water with added Simplex Mass. 04.08 Transferred the soaked seeds to a damp paper towel. 06.08 1 seed germinated, the other 9 did not open. 08.08 The situation remains unchanged; I took a file and slightly filed the edges of the seeds. The only sprouted one was planted in soil. 09.08 Germination 10/10, all seeds went into the soil, 3 pots of 1L, 3-4 seeds each. 12.08 7/10 of the rooted seeds moved to the seedling stage. The other 3 have not yet emerged to the sun, for one simple reason: I dropped the pot and spilled everything, causing the substrate to mix, displacing the seeds from the surface))) upd: 13.08 all 10/10 have sprouted I consider the germination test of Lowryder's successfully passed. And the report completed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I’m glad that despite the challenges along the way, the mischief succeeded, and now I have a wonderful opportunity to use the legendary Lowryder genetics to create new hybrids. Thank you to everyone who followed the cycle. Special thanks to Doctor's Choice for the excellent genetic material and feedback when questions and difficulties arose. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are many more interesting reports and experiments ahead. @JamMAKEcan, Lowryder is a legendary variety that has advanced the era of autoflowering cannabis plants) Its advantage is that in several generations of breeding, you can make your own variety autoflowering, for example, I pollinated a Freakshow with a Lowryder boy and in 1.5-3 years of work I can bring out an autoflowering Freakshow. And by itself, as a strain, it is also a very cool thing, a low plant with a delicious aroma of exotic fruits, dense cones and rapid energetic growth (at least I got such a girl, even despite all the injuries that I was able to inflict on her)
