This is my first ever plant, went for an auto CBD lemon potion from Barneys. I'm in about week 8 at the moment, another couple weeks and it should be time to harvest. I planted it in soil, and thus in its early days suffered some nute burn, but grew out of it fairly sharply. I started it under cfl then added in a small full spectrum LED. I did give it some tomrite nutrients, however the rust spots appeared quickly after, so stopped it, so its pretty much had no nutrients.
All in all, everything is looking decent, apart from the rust.
The pics are when I got it out to flush to try and see if it is Ph problem.
If anyone has knowledge of the rusty brown bits, I would really appreciate their feedback.
Thanks folks.
So, my las entry starts at 8 weeks, which was also around the same time I faced my first issues, in the form of what appeared to be nutrient lock out of some kind, probably calcium. I gave her a good flush with tap-water, then purchased PH perfect, Micro, Grow and Bloom, and started giving her that, one week down the line and all appears well , the buds are definitely benefiting from the nutrients, and the rust spots seems to have stopped, existing ones obviously still remain, but no more are developing.
Onto the next problem, little soil gnats have appeared, redish and black in colour, only a few, but I'll get cider vinegar and sticky yellow up to curb that asap.
Feeling positive that this CBD lemon potion is a hardy kid.
Missed out week 10 as I was on holiday, a very good friend checked in on them and continued to water and feed as previously. The buds are slightly more dense, seem to be packing on a bit of meat, trichomes still glassy however, I was fully expecting to have chopped her down by now. But she's easily got another week or so I reckon.
No real issues, just a few mushrooms I've had to pick out, soil must be good if they are growing however, so not a complete negative.
I'm growing another alongside this one, several weeks younger and has had muted from very early doors as opposed to this one that only got them later on. One cola on it is 3 times the size of anything on this current one. I've attached a pic of it as a comparison.
This is my first ever harvest, when I planted it I hoped to get at least an Oz, it's been a joy growing and it's definitely addictive, would find myself just looking at them sometimes. As I've never had a harvest and dry I'm not sure what I'll lose weight wise after it dries. Will just have to wait and see. 20418
