transplanted vegging plant into 10 gal. prob give it 2 weeks then ill switch to flower . hope to get some more lst on her since I took off to transplant. flowering plants stretched a lot and I hope the buds are solid and big because there could be more sites. about week 3 of flower. 3 days after transplant and 1 day after water she looks like she responding well. defoliated after watering. switched the last plant into flower tent. looks just as big as the others almost before it stretches. hope it gets decently bigger. looks healthy atm and so do the others

back off on the nutes a bit and fix your flight ph issue first, then I'd FIM them now this will give you 4 bud sites instead of one, so fim every tip.

what causes this clawing .? haven't watered n almost a week because they are still moist due to my over nute so they can't soak up all the moisture I think. they not soaked so maybe I should go ahead nd give reg water ? or wait til complete dry soil?

Clawing/drooping usually comes from one of two things: over or under-watering.... You need to let this dry out completely before giving anything more! I'm seeing some yellow sticky pads, yes? Which means to me you've got some bug problems and I'm going to guess they're fungus gnats because those critters live in wet soil... So when you get back to watering/feeding again, get some Mosquito Bits and follow the directions - you have to soak a certain amount of them in a certain amount of water which you then use for your plants... I put the granules in a strainer which I then put in the water because it makes getting all of them out MUCH easier. Anyway, this will kill off the fungus gnats - if it's a bad infestation, you might have to use it once a week for 3 weeks but it DOES work and work quite well! Good luck... she'll be ok - just let her dry out!

when I switch to flower, would I be best to keep the vegging plant under the same light its under which is about 300w or best to put it back in the 680w light? also I just transplanted and she's a little stressed, does she look like she's missing any nutes?

should pick light based on aera you need to cover.. and need more in 150% of vege light intensity in flower for 12 hours a day vs 18 (DLI is proportional to hours) and, i'd give your flowering plants first dibs then whatever fits after that. i assume your grow lights make them paler than if you took pics in a normal house light... so it looks fine. lil saggy, but i think a little more perlite, vermiculite or clay balls for drainage would help there... especially if that only happens after an irrigation. node spacing looks tight but can't be certain... maybe 2-4" more distance from canopy to light would do'em good.. may even be the cause of sag if it wasn't recently watered in that pic. if it's droopy like that at end of light cycle, more reason to attribute droop to the lights.

also I might have to leave these plants. so I might have someone else water. can I go ahead and mix all the nutes with water into a big container so someone could just use that? or it will go bad sitting still? the water and nutes that is .

it can if stagnant quite quickly... keeping it cold, dark and stirring will slow that process down (microbial gowth). if you are talking a week, probablay gonna be okay, but anything much longer you might want to consider more than just a big barrel of fertilized water. something with a lid to reduce evaporation will avoid one cause for concentration to change - the other being microbes eating your nutes and wreaking havoc on pH. got a power head for an aquarium or some air pumps and tubing to make bubbles? otherwise make they stir it each day... that will oxygenate it at the least. probably have some film on it by end of week... doesn't necessarily mean doom but leads to potential problems if the wrong stuff starts gowing in your medium.

I'm not convinced it needs it at this point, If you can use some more LST training techniques that would be an option, your plant is just under a foot high if the diary is correct. If you wanted too defoliate and plan on going through with it. grey_wolfs answer is true. Air flow and light penetration are why growers defoliate. however I know that another user on this site organoman thinks striping any leaves off of a plant is wrong and would say don't. I'm a bit divided on it and think it should only be done in rare cases when LST is not an option and only when there are to many leaves cause issues with airflow. no idea what the seeds are. but is there anyway to tell if its indica or sativa? also usually once I get to this point there is a much deeper smell and I can scratch and sniff at least but with these there seems to be almost no smell, no more than just a vegging cannabis plant .?

stuff is so interbred and the ppl doing it have no idea about genetics... each plant is not evenly split between its parents all all times.. especially a few iterations down the line it becomes an entangled mess.. so the code that is "indica" or "sativa" originally really doesn't denot much at all... i just use it to denote between teh tall and lanky vs short and bushy but the buds could be anything between as far as anything that is truly unique to one or the other. terp profiles, thc% etc etc.. it's a jumbled mess.. so 1 physical trait doesn't correlat to another unless it was a specific target of the breeder and they really don't know what is what cause they've never mapped out the genome. our old taxonomical system was completely rearranged once we started mapping genomes and categorizing animals and other life more properly based on their lineage. the 5 kingdoms shouldnt even be referenced anymore.. they tried to shoehorn it into the new system of the 3 domains for no reason other than some long dead person's ego. those are mistakes made by many ppl in a more systematic and professional way... imagine what kind of simple mistakes and misunderstandings would ppl with no understanding of genetics (like you are or me) would make. these terms carry very little causality with them anymore. you may find some breeder that may have kept them separate, but no guarantees they aren't lying either or where they got the cuttings from etc etc... so there's just a lot of hubbabaloo to create a feeling of premium all over the place.. good luck figuring out what is what. trial and error.

I think they are looking about on point like Chitowncannachica says> growdiaries.com/diaries/129773-grow-journal-by-m0use/week/755292 This was my blue cindy at week 4 in flower and it was a short compact grow. As for nitrogen lockout, IDK about that. May want to invest into a TDS pen that read EC/PPM to ensure your not overfeeding them. so if I used 0 nutes during the flower process what would happen to the buds.? would they fox tail? just not be very big? not be very strong? less trichomes? how about in different types of soil, light, coco, full mix?, all with 0 nutes

Are you wanting to try a grow with no nutes? Why?! So, what would happen... they probably wouldn't grow very much, if they produced any flowers at all, those would be very small and not many of them, you'd probably get some trichs if they made it into flower but who knows how many... And it doesn't matter what your substrate is in this scenario... Finally, foxtailing is the result of extreme heat and has nothing to do with nutes... Cheers...

this is the plants as I let the medium dry up a lot in case I had overwatered. I just used only water to water. do they look like they lack nutes? or is it just getting late in flower so they changing and slightly pale .

I'm seeing a couple of things here - but since you really have not been specific about what nutes you're giving in what amount, I'm not going to be able to suggest a good course of action... but let me tell you what I see... First, the plant you're worried about that's drooping? I think this plant has a problem with nitrogen toxicity ... and before you say "but I give them all the same nutes," let me tell you that each plant will react differently to exactly the same treatment. I had told you in an earlier question that the drooping was either over or underwatering ... and that's mostly true... but I'm seeing a clawing now and, since you're saying you've let them dry up in case of overwatering, and she STILL hasn't responded, then the problem becomes something else - and that is nitrogen toxicity. For HER, I would flush her out which I'm going to assume you know how to do (growing in 10 gallon pots, run 30 gallons of pH'd water through her)... into the last 2 gallons, add your nutes at 1/2 strength... and if you're using BioBizz Grow, cut THAT to 1/4 or cut it out completely. There are other BioBizz nutes that have a high degree of nitrogen in them - Fish Shit comes to mind - so if you're giving them that, cut IT to 1/4, too. Then let them dry out before resuming your water/feed routine. And for HER, I would go forward with less of the nutes that are high in nitrogen. As for the others, I'm seeing some possible calcium deficiency - now that could ALSO be caused by a nitrogen overload but I don't think you're at the point with them that they require a flush. For them, I would just suggest that a) cut back on nitrogen-rich nutes and b) add some calmag. Nitrogen is not as crucial to plants in flower as it is to plants in veg - and giving them too much can cause any number of problems... Good luck... the grow is looking good - just needs a bit of tweaking!

Hey - the plant in the back is looking a lot better than it did when you posed your last question - but still looks like it's struggling a bit. I'd look into Ezzjybruh's thought on some root problems if you're planning to run this grow for a lot longer... but your question makes it seem like you're thinking of harvesting soon? If that's the case, defoliation now will make your trim and dry period shorter which is an ok thing... and flushing for harvest is also a good thing.... But I see no other reason to either defoliate or flush nor do I see anything else you need to do. Good luck!

is it too much foliage on the younger plant? should I remove some leaves on the inner plant or some smaller bud sites? worried it might become not enough airflow in middle of plant later into flower

It's all up to you, to be honest. It will grow fine, either way. Plucking the buds underneath the main canopy will redirect those nutrients to the next canopy layer. Letting it go will result in more nuggets, but the ones that are covered will be flarfy. I hope this helps.

most fading very nice, some got stressed and have that foxtailing/reveging look, few should be ready. Answering your question, they were hungry, when @Organoman advised to increase pk. Now maybe some got too hungry, too early. Weed will taste amazing tho ! Next time, reduce all feed when you will see first mily, that way youll have few more weeks for flush/plain waterings and will feed them almost to max Happy Harvesting !!!

You're only into week 4 of flower and they probably have a lot more time to go yet.... Now is when they'll be fattening up - and here, light is the key... Saying that, though, I would also try to reduce the heat as you suggested yourself... if it gets TOO hot, you'll find them foxtailing and that you do not want! So if you CAN lower the temps to the mid-70s, that would be good - other than that, patience! Good luck!
