Germinated in water bottle + paper towel. A few drops of hydrogen peroxide in the water bottle, drop seeds in for 24 hours. Should pop in the bottle, if not nbd, move forward. Move them to the paper towel to grow the tail out a bit, then put into dirt in the next 24 hours.
Just a couple seedlings humming along! They'll be moved into 5 gallon pots and to the veg tent in the next 1-2 weeks
I keep seedlings and clones under a vivosun fluorescent light. Not the best quality of light, but it does the job until they get under the NextLight for veg.
Hit a bit of a rough patch in these babies in the last couple weeks. Went on vacation a couple weeks ago so I knew they'd be dry when I got back. They definitely were and needed a transplant, so that happened last week.
Light was a bit too close for several days so backed that off then started feeding veg nutes.
They're back now and should be taking off soon! My environment is kind of rough on seedlings as it's tuned better for starting clones
Topped and cloned plant #1 yesterday. Plant 2 needs a bit more time. Started the mainline/hst on plant 1 and will do the same to plant 2 once it's cloned.
Planned to flip to flower once these fill out some more, probably 3-4 weeks.
Took clones off both plants in the last couple weeks and started mainline on both. Plant on the left was a bit further behind than the right so it got cloned and trained several days later.
This strains seems to take to the mainline very very well. Immediate recovery and bounces back with even more nodes.
Hoping to flip these two soon. Plant #1 is shooting pistils, she's ready to go. #2 has been a bit shorter her whole life, late bloomer from seed. As soon as she starts preflowering, it's go time. Looking likely by the end of this week.
Huge disparity in maturity between the phenos. Pheno 2 was much shorter and received less light for the first 5 days of flower than pheno 1. Pheno 2 has since been elevated to the same canopy level as pheno 1 and you can see the buds are starting.
Anyway, both plants are healthy. Pheno 1 will certainly complete it's stretch and start bulking buds before pheno 2.
As far as stretch, there's hardly been any. This strain seems to prefer to go hard with bud site generation on existing branches - it's a jungle in there now. Noting this for next run, planning to veg into a desired flowering formation since the stretch is not very aggressive.
Closing out flower week 3, pheno 1 appears to be going into bulk/stack mode. Excited to see the bud development over the coming weeks.
Pheno 2 has been stretching this past week, but I think she's just about done. I expect a big more height on the main canopy, maybe, but she should start bulking within the next couple weeks I'd guess. First grow with this strain so not really sure! Guess we'll see.
Sugar rub on pheno 1 is strong citrus at the moment.
Pheno 2 stretched a bit more last week and appears to be done now. Pheno 1 has a little over a week of bulking/stacking under her belt.
Excited to see how the grow over the coming weeks!
Pheno 2 is really frosting up over the last week or two! I was initially most excited to see pheno 1 buds, but they're both shaping up to be unique.
Pheno 2 is bulking now. Probably will run a little later than pheno 1
Pheno 2 is now in the lead for most attractive lol. Shooting trichs all the way out to her big fan leaves, the buds have subtle purple highlights and the leaves are beginning to fade to purple. Sorry pheno 1, but apparently the late bloomer had the right idea!
They're coming along nicely and we're like 2/3 through flower, so let the dank-up begin!!! See y'all next week.
God I love this strain so much right now! It's been a breeze to grow and the colors she's showing are absolutely beautiful. Raised lights yesterday and starting to dim intensity over the next 2-3 weeks. Tentatively harvesting between 10/9 and 10/16
Last couple weeks on these girls. Trichomes on pheno 1 look like they'll be ready around the 15th at the latest. Trichs on pheno 2 look similar, but she's always been a bit slower so we'll see how they mature in the next 10 days or so.
Very excited to harvest. The smells on these girls are insane, and pheno 2 is a serious resin factory. Pheno 1 is quite frosty too but pheno 2 just takes the cake -- no pun.
Ultimately planning to cull pheno 1 pending a smoke test. Pheno 2 appears to be stronger overall in my opinion, although she takes to HST/mainlining with a lot more stress than pheno 1
