Trying dr.seeds ram widow as I’ve become a big fan of their genetics. There’s not much info on this strain but it’s look and colour has peaked my interest in what this strain could offer.
The seeds been directly placed into soil to germinate. I’m using promix hp and 1/3 worm castings. I’ll be feeding with Diablo nutrients and Dakine 420 foilar science once the seedling becomes established.
I’m using the viparspectra xs1000 my favourite light so far and my sunstream GT 24x24x56 tent. Using a spider farmer exhaust fan with digital controller and a ac infinity raxial intake fan and a vornado v12 to move air inside the tent.
Not much to say about the dr.seeds ram widow so far. Was placed directly into soil within 24 hours it sprouted. The ram widow is just being fed ph balanced water. Light cycle started at 24/h until it popped from the soil then switched the timer to 18/6. It stretched a little after popping and as the vipar spectra xs1000 was turned low but cranked up to around 25%-30% on the dimmer now to slow any more stretch since sprouting.
Once the ram widow is transplanted I’ll start on the Diablo feeding schedule for seedlings.
The Dr.seeds ram widow is doing great I’m about to transplant it into its final pot. This plant sprouted quickly and has developed well the xs1000 is still around 30% power and I’ll start to crank it up now.
It got its first feeding of Diablo nutrients and responded well. Hopefully there will be bigger updates for the next week.
The Dr.Seeds Ram widow has hit week 3 above ground. It was transplanted to the larger pot from the starter pot at the beginning of this week. The Ram widow seems happy and has begun getting bushier. I will top the plant at the next internode to help bush it out and fill the sunstream 24x24x56.
I have started feeding Diablo nutrients still not at full strength but at the next recommended dose on the feeding schedule, I’ll move to full feed next week. The Ram widow seems to have responded well to nutrients and has been foilar fed at night with dakine 420 foilar science and diablos cal mag.
The ram widow is progressing at a reasonable pace, I’m interested to see what these genetics have in store. It’s hard to tell I find typically after week 4 and transplanting plants start to progress at a much faster rate.
The viparspectra xs1000 is at around 40-45% power on the dimmer and is raised up by the ratchets 1/8” of an inch daily as I always try and move the light slowly to reduce stretch.
The Dr seeds ram widow is growing well she’s starting to get some good growth. I topped the plant at the 4th internode and I guess I accidentally did some fimming as it looks like the centre is slowly growing back.
The ram widow has been taking nutrients well I’ve been foilar feeding at nights and has begun its full intake of veg nutrients 3 times a week. Now that the roots are settled after transplanting it should start growing quickly.
Looking forward to seeing how this grows out and how much topping and training it will take.
Well the dr.seeds ram widow is a short stout bush I went to top it and it grew back it’s topped centre and has become a hydra with 3 heads. Starting this week I plan to start training it lower branches.
The ram widow is a thirsty little plant and can easily drink 1L-1.5L daily and is really enjoying the Diablo nutrients. I’m enjoying the growth and vigor and have grown quite fond of the dr.seed genetics.
The next few weeks should be interesting when training and defoliation come in I expect to see another growth spurt out fo the ram widow and am also very much looking forward to flowering stage in the future.
So the ram widow went through some training and was allowed to recover before being defoliated and given some more LST to try and balance out the canopy. I defoliated around the base and any fan leaves blocking any branches for maximum light penetration.
The viparspectra xs1000 is doing another great job I believe I’m around the 70% power mark now and won’t being moving to 100% power until flowering. The growth of the plant has been great over the last week. I’m quite impressed with the ram widow by Dr.Seeds it has vigorous growth so far in veg.
I’ve been feeding Diablo nutrients 3 times a week, only feeding monster black and monster maxxx once a week. With this great growth in looking forward to flowering and seeing what the ram widow has in store.
The Dr.seeds ram widow is doing well, I’ve been doing light defoliations of potential future flowering sites and using LST to move the branches into ideal spots for light penetration during flowering.
I’ve stayed on the Diablo schedule and am doing 3 feedings a week the ram widow is responding well and has seen rapid growth with no signs of nute burn.
As there is not much info on this strain I may let it veg for a week or two then begin the transition over to bloom. Not sure how much stretch to expect.
The dr.seeds ram widow has been doing quite well the canopy has almost levelled out. As I’m not sure how much stretch to expect I already switched it over to flower.
It’s beeen feeding well on Diablo nutrients and ph balanced water. With all the LST and topping the strains proves to be fun and bushy and has grown fairly quickly.
For flower I’ll turn the xs1000 to 100% power for extra penetration to lower parts during flower. l
I enjoyed the ram widow it packed on some serious weight, less peppered with buds all over then the sunset but the buds that were there were all big and developed and oozing trichomes.
Week two of flowering the dr seeds ram widows is looking great. As I switched over the Diablo nutrients to flower I’m still following their feeding calculator.
The dr seeds Ram widow is looking great, I’ve been following the Diablo nutrients feeding calculator from their site. The plant is feeding well drinking about 1.5L a day now.
Defoliations have only been for areas blocking flowering sites. Still not a strong smell when opening the tent.
Can’t wait to see how this lady progresses after growing dr.seeds sunset sherbert and 24k gold auto I’m hoping for some great things.
Wow the dr.seeds ram widow is very impressive strain so far during flowering. Just entering week 4 and the smell is intoxicating. The flowering sites are looking great and starting to build some bulk.
The viparspectra xs1000 is doing another fantastic job again. I’m alaways quite happy with the plants react to the light during flowering. The viparspectra have a great spectrum in my opinion. I’ve recently purchased a xs1500 I got for great price when Amazon had a sale plus rebate. Can’t wait to use it.
As for nutrients we are on week 4 of diablos nutrients. I’ve started feeding Diablo monster call at most feedings and monster frost every feeding. I’ve fed it a very tiny amount of monster k (potassium) and will feed it same the small amount week 5 then full feeding week 6/7 like Diablo suggests. I find the extra potassium and calmag to help during flowering.
The dr.seeds ram widow is looking impressive. It’s forming some nice flowering sites with terpenes building up. The growth has been great and now only defoliating sites that block flowering areas.
I’ve been feeding Diablo nutrients including feeding a small amount of monster k (potassium) to the plants early to help build density. I’ve been feeding Diablo monster frost and cal mag every feeding to help with flowering production. I quite enjoy Diablo nutrients I still use their feeding calculator and have been getting great results.
The dr.seeds ram widow is doing great has started to get that danky smell. The terpenes are building up and the flowers are starting to fill out. The plant looks healthy defoliations are don’t unless fan leaves are blocking any flowering sites.
The viparspectra xs1000 is doing another great job we are at 100% power and just really enjoy this light. The Diablo nutrients are still being fed for the plant weekly it has also got its first and second full feeding of diablos monster k which I find helps with that density.
The ram widow drinks a 1.5L a day with cal-mag and monster frost being fed every feeding with the ph balanced water. Nutrients are x3 a week still and will follows diablos feeding schedule till the end.
Wow the Dr.seeds Ram widow is a very impressive strain so far. After growing an amazing sunset sherbert by Dr.seeds I went for the ram widow and am not disappointed. This plant is becoming more aromatic has a sweet danky smell now.
I’ve been feeding Diablo nutrients all the way through following their feeding calculator x3 a week. In between the nute days I’m feeding cal-mag and monster frost and across the last 3 weeks was feeding them diablos monster k (potassium). The Ram widow seems happy and has been getting some nice an dense looking flowers.
Defoliation has only been in a few spots to get some of the smaller flower light and to help with penetration into the middle of the plant. Can’t wait to see this girl wrap up as always I’m still impressed by the viparspectra xs1000 can’t wait to try my 1500 out in the other tent and replace my mars hydro ts1000.
@love_2_grow, hey I think the pots like 23.9 litre root farm fabric pot. I do a single plant and train them typically in a 2x2. Lots of LST and topping if you check my sunset sherbert grow you can see how I do it with out a net. I have a auto as well in a 2x2 and do the same type or training minus the topping
@Inganjawetrust, thanks I can’t really take all credit for good genetics and a decent spectrum light. But I’ve been very impressed by this ram widow if it’s anything like dr.seeds sunset sherbert I’m in for a treat
Dr seeds all the man, I recently grew godfather and I highly suggest you try. Just bought Ram Widow and am having a peek at your grow and dammmmmnnn I'm excited.
@Ultraviolet, I agree 100% there zombie death fuck is quite impressive too, I did their sunset sherbert a friend gave me and have been a big dr.seed fan since
