Grow pros I’m a seasoned soil photoperiod grower and brand new with autos. Should I be planning to top this plant in a few days? I would wait another week or two typically but don’t know what to do with an autoflower

You wanna try get it in as early as you can with an auto. To max out on the energy you need to get it in a wk or 2 before she begins to flower. You'll hear a lot about don't top but if done early, above the 4th or 5th and have a good week in veg too get the most out of it, that'll be best. And you'll get many nice colas instead of 1 main 1. Especially with DWC you wanna top. Above the 4th will be fine

Hey friends. Any advice here? I’m thinking nutrient burn perhaps? My EC did climb a bit. Today I’m running fresh water with very little nutes.

Thanks to everyone for all the valuable input. I’m so glad to have this community. I’m embarrassed to report this as it’s such a silly resolution to my problem. Apparently I found my PH was having nasty volatility swings, causing my plant to either consume too much of one nutrient, and not enough of others, etc. I was setting my PH to 6.0 and found it down as low as 4.2 in 24 hours. I usually check every two days so I could possibly be running toxic for over a day at a time. Started using SI and noticed it remaining more balanced. This is the first time I’ve run individual DWC buckets. My old setup was a 6 auto flood buckets with a 25 gallon reservoir. Less volatile compared to stationary 5 gallon pals. Still learning as I go. Thanks again everyone!!!

New week. Last week saw a lot of PH volatility. Increased my CaMag into my RO water and PH is better stabilized. Implementation of VPD complete. My plants were drinking up half the tank in one day. Let’s see how it works controlling VPD.
