mushman I'm truly impressed by these beans. Hopefully the breeder starts a legit company, because these mfers germinated in no time at all, especially with the paper towel method in mind. Overall I'm happy with my tent situation, I was advised to do 2 plants instead of 4, just because the strain seems to grow quite impressively. I also added a video of the setup to this diary. Excited in every sense of the word!
What level of water cleanness is optimal? I have access to pretty good tap, and am planning on adding dechlorinator (also removes other stuff), will this be sufficient?
hey there Mushman, chlorine is a gas at room temperature so it will eventually evaporate, the best is to just let a bucket of water sit for half a day or overnight to get rid of the chlorine, that's because adding reagents simply creates granules and precipitate that will pollute the water with little clusters of poison for the plant. Usually you want to use a filter for that reason. The plant won't like it . Hope this helps ! 🚀
mushman Lost one gorl, made sure to do a 21 bong salute in her honor. There was some stretching as I figured things out, but it seems dialed in within the past few days.

mushman So I managed to germ and pop a bean around the same time as the other runtz plant, so the dead one isn't a huge deal. Might end up turning the super mutated runtz plant until a bonsai, and grow out the bubba kush in the entire space. I topped the bubba kush yesterday, it hasn't done anything unexpected like the runtz did.
it has some mutation causing distorted leaf growth but its also way overfed and very dark in color.
you cant do anything about genetics but you can give it plain water for a week and then start her off with 1/2 strength and alternate between feed and water to correct the overfeeding problem.
