My face hurts, my eyes are still somewhat black in the corners, and this plastic cast on my nose sucks. But what sucks the most are the rubber rods that are shoved all the way up my nostrils 👃🏽. They SUCK!
I’m sure none of you reading along really care about all that, and I can’t blame you. This is a marijuana grow diary after all!
I’ve had to add even more time to this grow because I still haven’t finished harvesting their older sisters from Stella’s Cuatro. Getting hit in the face just made it more difficult that’s all.
Today begins the 2nd extra week to my original schedule. Both plants are looking droopy, but only because their buds are so heavy. It all has to do with the way the branches were bent to provide space earlier in their lives. Doing the HST early made growing them this size possible, but it also makes their branches too heavy for them to stand up. Almost all are simply bowing to gravity, but are still healthy looking.
Both plants have beautiful, big buds, but their smell is something else! They both smell absolutely wonderful! The aroma is strong, and powerful! Out of the 7 DarkStar plants I’ve grown this growing cycle, these two smell the best!
We’re continuing the flush of course, so the initial pH was 7.5, with 0.4 ml of pH DOWN added makes the final pH 6.4.
Runoff was collected from both with a pH of:
#1 - 5.5
#2 - 5.6
The tent was warm at 85.7F, with humidity low at 38%.
Hopefully I’ll feel able to continue with the harvest of their sisters, so I can get to them in turn.
Till then; happy growing everyone!

Watering time for the Duo again. They’re still doing well, and continuing to receive fresh, properly pH’ed water as they have for the last 3 weeks. They are ready to harvest, but I’m not ready to harvest them. I’m almost ready though, so hopefully I’ll be able to begin in a few days!
As usual, the initial pH of my tap water was 7.5. Also as usual, I added 0.4 ml of pH DOWN to adjust it to 6.4.
Each of them received half a gallon of water, and both gave back enough runoff to measure. Both had a runoff pH of 5.6.
The tent was warm at 86.6F, and humidity was low at 37%.
Both plants have a very strong aroma, and some very large buds which are causing all of the branches to look droopy. They’re just too heavy to stand up, and that’s ok.
I’ll be so happy when this grow season is complete! Happy growing everyone.

Today has been a busy day, but I was able to get my Duo fed early enough to still get other things done. Like write this report.
Stella’s Duo are truly ready to be harvested. Their buds are fat, and covered in glistening trichomes, and some of their leaves are starting to die, and others are changing colors. Nothing dramatic or even beautiful, but changing color nonetheless.
They each received their normal half gallon of properly pH’ed water with nothing else added.
The initial pH was 7.5, 0.4 ml of pH DOWN was added which adjusted the pH to 6.4.
They both gave back enough runoff to measure. #1 had a pH of 5.5, and #2 was 5.6.
The tent was warmer again today at 85.9F, with humidity hanging low at 35%.
I’m hoping that today, being the last day of the 2nd added week to their planned grow schedule, will be the last entry till the harvest report.
Only time will tell. Until then; happy growing everyone!
