Runtz XL + Gorilla Girl XL

After the successful germination, sprouts placed in Jiffy pods and under 24hr light. Seeds breached soil June 11, so I will start the day count from there as day 1. Once roots started to come out of the bottom of the jiffy pods, they were planted in their final pot (Day 4). Each plant is in a 15L AutoPot. Soil Mix: 8L BioBizz Light Mix 5L Premium Perlite 1L Plagron Mega Worm 100g Guanokalong Pellets 75g BioTabs Startrex 75g BioTabs Silicium Flash 1L Expanded Clay balls at bottom of AutoPot. Fill halfway with soil mix Then 2 BioTabs Tablets halfway down in the Autopots Fill the other half of the pot Then 5g BioTabs Mycrotrex in the hole under the seedling in the jiffy Then 1 tsp of BioTabs Bactrex in 1L of water to hydrate the soil to start off healthy Will hand water until the girls are big enough to start the AutoPots. All looks to be starting off strong!

End of Week 2, Day 14 Humidity is super low, hovering around 30%. I don't have a humidifier, so I'm just hoping that since I turned on the Autopots the plants will have plenty of access to water. Temps high around 27C - 28C and I'm expecting it to get real hot soon. Both girls looking happy overall. Nice green color and no burnt tips.

End of week 3 Girls looking happy. Runtz is bigger than the gorilla right now. Started LST on Runtz D21. I think she has potential to get real bushy. I will do LST on gorilla soon when it's ready. Low humidity, around 30%RH, and high temps, 27C are a little worrying. Only negative effect it might be having is slower growth than normal.

END of WEEK 4... DAY 28 The Runtz XL Auto is bigger than the Gorilla Girl Xl Auto. Both have started showing their hairs and shorter internode spacing. Flowering will count starting week 5. In a week or two I will add some Bio PK from BioTabs. Temp is at 30-31C... Crazy heat wave here and I do not have AC... RH at 30% still... Wish me luck haha

End of week 5: Day 35 We are officially in flower now. Bud sites are popping up on both girls. The Runtz XL Auto is doing a bit better, a bit darker green too. I have done massive amounts of LST this week and last. I think i will stop now and let them go verticle now that they are flowering. I think they will be happy. Maybe I will add Bio PK in one week.

END of WEEK 6 ... Day 42 No more LST this week. RUNTZ XL AUTO is staying darker green. It also got bushier and buds are forming nicely. Lots of extra branches that aren't as developed but on the way. Took a few yellowing lower leaves off but besides that not much defoliation. GORILLA GIRL XL AUTO is a lighter green than it's sister but looking good. It isn't as bushy, rather after the LST it made a bunch of branches pushing vertically. Buds aren't as advanced as it's sister but on the way. Heat is scaring me a bit. Leaves looking a bit stressed but Autopots keeping them humid. Also I ripped out a ball of roots that escaped and was taking over the Autopots valve on the Runtz XL Auto. The Gorilla Girl XL Auto had a similar root boom but not as drastic, no need to remove them yet. I noticed this on last day of this week when I picked up the post and spun them 180º to let the light hit other parts. Overall I'm happy for now and so are they.

END OF WEEK 7... DAY 49 Runtz XL Auto: Buds are filling out. Smell is starting to count out as well. Been picking yellowing leaves as plant gets bigger. Resin production on the rise, nice and sticky. Gorilla Girl XL Auto: She had a massive amount of vertical growth, not sure if it over yet. Buds starting to form. Looks like they will be very long! I hope they get chunks and sticky too. Temps staying around 30C and humidity around 30-35%

End of week 8... day 56 Runtz XL Auto: looking beautiful and frosty. Got some stank when you touch her. Will harvest in a week or so probably Gorilla Girl XL Auto: She is starting to stack buds and fill in the stem with long buds. Smell isn't wild but we will see in a week. Heat has taken a toll and you can see the leaves getting crunchy. No prob, the bus looking fire still

End week 9... Day 64 Just came back from a week vacation and thanks to the Autopots all was well. Easy for my roommate to just fill up some extra water. No extra mixign, super soil for the win Runtz XL Auto: lots of yellowed leaves i picked on arrival. Trimmed lots of other leaves too. I will harvest tomorrow because I am leaving again for a week. Looks and smells amazing. Sticky as shit. Jumbo dense buds. Gorilla Girl XL Auto: this one is a bit behind the other so I will leave her alone while I go to a festival for a week and change. Long skinny buds and leaves looking wonky. Had to take lots of yellowed leaves off too. But she needs more time to fatten the buds up. 30C and 30RH basically the whole grow

Harvest Runtz XL Auto Harvest day 65 She was the chunkier of the two. I had to go on vacation and she was fine with AutoPots. Smelling gassy after 10 days drying. Trimmed and jarred. 136g dry

Gorilla Girl XL harvested day 76 Heat was a big issue this grow. Basically sat at 30% RH and 30C temp. Was a real stretchy girl... Though i had LST under control but she kept shooting vertical. I would try this strain again because the heat maid the buds not super dense. Will report back with dry photos and weight after dry. Was on vacation for the last 2 weeks of life also. Could've been worse
