Defoliate or LST? Both Grapefruit and Bruce Banner are ready for some love but due to the short bushy nature of this grow, if we LST and start bending the plants their leaves will end up touching the soil. Would it be better to remove a couple of fan leaves to let light in?

Don't top it, whatever you do! Autos do NOT like to be topped or have any major stress inflicted on them! They don't have time to recover from it. I'd wait a bit to do the LST ... you want to see some stretch between the nodes - and then, if you don't want to bend them over, you could do something as simple as tucking the large fan leaves under and behind. Looks like it's going to be a very nice grow - certainly looks good so far! Good luck!

Noticing slight discoloration on Gelato, running in living soil, does this still have something to do with a nutrient deficiency? Has anyone encountered something like this?

Either what is said down below or genetics. Id do more research into it. My 1st answer makes no sense when you look at your other plants. Some sort of mutation. Let it grow out and see what happens. Nothing can spread unless that pot is in the same area and you get overspill and another plant sucks up the water. Do some more research. But looking closer at it. I'd say it's just mutations.

HELP.. Temps in our tents got into high 90s, working on cooling. I thought we started to have nutrient depletion of the super soil as there is only about 2.5 to 3 gallons of sohum in each pot. Now I started feeding calmag, FF big bloom, FF Tiger Bloom. Leaves still yellowing????

Hey pal. Your plants are just hungry. Supersoil is great. But you are growing autos, which can be very demanding on P-K. And your soil at this point is just slightly lacking that extra kick your autos need. If they were photos at this stage they'd be fine. But as I said, autos are much more demanding. You can add some powder adative. Or some worm castings to introduce some extra nutrients your autos are lacking at this stage in coming to the end of their life they are seeking that extra kick and are just showing that. So worm castings or high grade soil and a few cm on top or some powder ad and pour water on top and it'll give your plants that extra kick they need. As for microbial life, I do not see any negative affects such as die off from rot or random rust spots running down the edge of your leafs, but if you do ever run into bad micro life then all you need to do is run some h202 through it for a week with syth nutrients. But as I said, you don't have microbial life, just hungry gals. Good luck.

What a great looking grow so far! Looks like they're going to be awfully bushy and loaded with good bud sites! Good luck!

Hey, looks great so far. :) i think you could have planted them way higher. The soil is going to sag either way, and if the plants are getting as bushy as they seem right now you might run into issues with mold and bugs in your pot if there cant get any fresh air. But since you are in fabric pots i guess you could just bend the overlapping side down. Cheers, keep going :D

@BiteAway, Thank you, for the advice, we originally thought that we would be able to add soil around the base of the stem but the way these are staying short and bushy not so much. We will definitely try and fold the sides down, great advice because we weren't sure what to do.

Very nice. I seen your Q bro. You need to add some top soil to your grow or powder ad. Or if you haven't got any supersoil left an organic bloom booster will work fine. I ran a supersoil grow and my autos needed more nutrients around this stage. Happy growing buddy.

@Gottajiboo, nah, they are just hungry. Very hard to get bad micro life in soil. The worst that does happen is you get some rust spots but even that isn't cause for concern. Until you see your leafs lifeless, like they've been plucked from the plant and are like tissue then you've nothing to worry about. Good luck pal.

@gottagrowsometime, Thank you, for the help. We will add some more super soil and if that isn't enough we will get an organic bloom booster. Hungry Ladies...... Scary when they start going yellow, thought I really screwed it up somehow.....
