In the beginning of the week i decided to give her a bigger pot agai., I went from 11.5l to 45l. that's the biggest pot she will get. I Also give her a little shower of Vita Race for a nice recover. At the end of the week I decided to top the 2 side breches under de 2/3 top colas. I'll also keep using LST.
Took away the four first fanleaves, now she the sun can het to the lowest small brenched and leaves again. On Day 1 (W7) I started using sticks to support some brenches and bring them at the same height.
At day 2 (W7), gave her 2more sticks for support and lining, and I lolliepopped her.
the previous week was a hard week she told me..
she got temperatures above 35°C, and that's unique for the region i live in. It looked like i did the impossible , i missed a fim
After i ended mast week with hurting her, I decided to give her some extra support on the 2main colas. I did this by putting 2 more wooden sticks next to the colas. It wasn't a pleasant thing to do because i could feel the stick penetrating te roots. hopefully i did'nt hurt them to bad. after that I tied them up to the stick instead of keep pulling them down like like i intended to do. I noticed that the weather is changing and the forecast predicted stormy nights. putting her inside is no option, so i'll guess giving her extra support with sticks was the best thing to do.
i will also place her under a shed at night, if it doesnt get blown away by the storm
She needed time to recover from the small mistake i made last week, so i decided not to force her this week. shes got sprayed with Vita race and she enjoyed the little sunshine there was. weather has been a bit rougher, yet anoter reason to let her relax.
The weather was way better this week then last week. Days are getting shorter and i'll noticed she's getting ready to bloom because she's streching a lot! i'll guess she will show the first blooming signs at the end of this week.
well well, i thought she would start blooming this week, but she didn't. I would say she is 'pre-boooming'. I decided to give her some more 'grow' nutrients until i see mini buds (just because i still have a little bit if grow nutrients left) . At the end of the week/beginning of next week i will startt giving her bloom nutrients.
Weather has been better then last week, I defoliated her for the second time, i know there's a lot of controverse around defoliation and in particular with outdoor growing, But i wanted to try.. my girl looks healthy so i'm able to take a risk.
she's getting a lot of pretty flowers, and at more places then i thought she would. I'll hope the flowers will grow big and rock solid.
She's 2weeks into flowering at this point. I decided to stop giving her the 'Power roots' nutrients and start giving her 'Green Sensation' because I calculated that she only has 6 weeks untill harvest. I want to stop giving her extra nutrients after 4weeks from now so she has 2weeks to get a propper flush.
she look healty and strong. For so far i'm really happy about this Power flower seed i got! Big up to RQS and this fine communitie!
Weather has been rainy and windy so she has been living under a shelter at nights and most days. The climate is getting moisty here so i decides to remove some fanleafs again to keep a good airflow. Buds are getting bigger and they make me wanna sing
' I like big buds and i can not lie..'
Hooray, Today I stopped giving her nutrients. I want to give her a proper flush. She will only get water for 2weeks now. Stripped te lower part of the plant from leaves and minibuds to get the most energy to the buds. I'll hope they wil swell a little more. weather is getting colder and wetter but she's still doing fine. I'ts really an easy one to grow and verry resistant against diseases. Or i'm just doing a great job
Its been a rainy and cold week but she's a strong girl. She looks healthy and strong, an she got bigger. again I took away some leaves and little nugs. I'm considering to let her age a week longer as planned. If i can wait
Things did'nt go as planned. I decided to harvest her this week, she was 7weeks in to flowering and looked allready good. The forecast predicted some stormy weather for the next week and i did'nt want to take the risk to get her destroyed because of the weater or deseases. besides that she had 40% of orange growhairs and milky trichomes. If the weather was going to be better i would have let her life a week or 2 longer.
update:
We are one month after harvest the buds are dry and have been (or are still) curing. Its allready pretty smokeable! 'best homegrown I ever had' is a frequent comment when i let others taste the buds.
